While developing the battle system for the Mega Man RPG a number of different field layouts were experimented with. This was one of the layouts tested.
Mega Man targets Elec Man!
Mega Man uses the Mega Buster ability!
It's not very effective... Elec Man takes 15 damage!
"Is that all you've got, Mega Man?"
Oil Man targets Elec Man!
Oil Man uses the Oil Slider ability!
It's super effective! Elec Man takes 60 damage!
"Wow, Oil Man! You're strong!"
Cut Man targets Guts Man!
Cut Man uses the Rolling Cutter ability!
It's not very effective... Guts Man takes 15 damage!
"Is that all you've got, Cut Man?"
Time Man targets Guts Man!
Time Man uses the Time Arrow ability!
It's super effective! Guts Man takes 60 damage!
"Wow, Time Man! You're strong!"
Fire Man targets Ice Man!
Fire Man uses the Fire Storm ability!
It's not very effective... Ice Man takes 15 damage!
