I like the idea presented for Magnet, but I really wanted Dust to have it. Magnet could have a move where he attracts attacks towards him, having a less chance the farther away you are. If you are the active robot, damage would be dealt back. It would really work well with Magnet's defense stat.

And on the next chat, I'd like to move away from core T2s.

Just so you guys know, I won't be able to attend tonight's chat, as I'm going to see Guardians of the Galaxy with some friends. However, I'd like to post my ideas for Needle Man's T1 and Top Man's T2.

I originally hoped that Needle Cannon would become Needle Man’s pure-Cutter T1, allowing for a more creative T2. After failing to persuade Adrian to change Oil Slider into a Earth/Swift-type ability, I don’t think that’s likely. Anyhow, Needle Driver would revolve around Needle Man’s battering ram-like head. I’m not exactly sure how it would work, though. Maybe it could reduce defense and make Needle Cannon more effective? Needle Man’s existing sprites would be problematic; maybe we could use a special add-on for the head, like the Hyper Bomb that used to appear next to Bomb Man before he got his new sprites.

For Top Man’s T2, I was inspired by his ability to deflect attacks by spinning. Top Spin (The existing Top Spin could be renamed Top Throw) would generate a spinning vortex around the user, nullifying all damage ala Skull Barrier. Unlike Skull Barrier, the vortex can be kept up by repeatedly using the ability (much like the effects of Bubble Spray and Oil Shooter). Once a different ability is used, the vortex is launched at the opposing player’s front row robot for damage (slightly less than other Shield abilities, at least). I think it would be cool if a speed-based bot like Top Man had a defensive ability to compensate for their minimal defense. Making it a T2 would make sure it couldn't be spammed (it would use up energy on each turn, unlike other Sheild abilities), and Impact and Explode-type abilities could penetrate the vortex, dealing damage and dispersing it.

If anyone would mind bringing up these ideas during the chat, even if it’s just copy-pasting them, that’d be great.

And I have an idea for Magnet, as I said. Since most of Magnet's moves roll around offense, which isn't his shtick, I think the idea I presented would coincide better for Magnet Man.

Also, I was thinking Needle Man would get a Perish Song attack, ala Instadeath spikes, where Needle would have 4 turns and the opponent 3 turns(To have no Danger Bomb problems). It sounds overpowered, so I'm not sure about it.

And like I said, we may be moving too fast with all these T2s. I'd like to talk about extra options, whether it'd be items or special missions.



@Spinstrike : You're just seeing that movie now? Trust me, that movie....fantastic! I watched it first chance I got, and I loved it! And that extra-cameo scene at the credits....I didn't think Marvel would have wanted that character in another movie. I'm glad that they did include him. He needs another solo movie.*

Also, something else. Look at what Snake Man does after a while. He crawls. I'd really love to see something like that as his Slide Sprite. Specifically, watch it starting at 0:40. Soon after that, that's when you'll see it.

long time megaman fan here. I really enjoy this and thought I should put my two cents somewhere. what about rush armor/ treble armor for megaman and bass *not sure what protoman would get* as a either 4th attack or a separate character.
