@Shadownnico About only using Neutral-type attacks...I used Bass Crush (which is Neutral), but I didn't get the RM unlocked. Is it ONLY buster weapons that can unlock the RM?
dear gods adrian! why is the dr. light chapter 4 robots such a high level!? this will take tons of grinding! i can defeat air man, i can push past opponents 5 levels over, but NOT 25 levels over!
Something I just noticed a few minutes ago that I'm curious about: Does having less robots on your team cause the each of them to get more EXP? If so, this is becoming more like Pokemon by the second.
From what I can tell, yes, having more Robot Masters on your team splits the EXP more between them. Having two means each gets half, three means a third each, and onward.
It does split the EXP, but regarding how easy it is to level up robots in this game, I don't suggest taking just a few robots at a time into battle. Once your robots are high enough, you can max the levels out in like 10 matches or so in the final chapters. You get more EXP in quite a few different circumstances...not too hard to max all the robots once you know how! Now getting their stats higher is quite a bit trickier, especially for some robots...
Hey guys question: I know to unlock robots, you need to win with only neutral weapons. I've unlocked all the ones in chapter 2 this way... Is there anything I'm supposed to do in later levels to unlock more stuff? (bots, abillities, anything) thanks!
Well, after you unlock the robots, you can use the copy shot to steal abilities such as Gemini Laser. You would need to fight someone like Gemini Man or at least the same core type, let them use the move you want, then shoot copy shot. :)
To add to what MegaBossMan said, the timing of the Copy Shot is critical. If your speed is higher than the robot you are facing, use Copy Shot on the turn following the one where the weapon you want to copy is used. If it's lower, then you'll need to use the ability on the same turn as the ability is used...but, by the time you unlock the Bonus Battles (where the Gemini Laser can be obtained outside of a Player Battle), your speed should be high enough where that last bit isn't a concern. Also, try to keep the target robot's health as high as possible, as you don't want the AI to switch out robots on that critical turn!
ok thanks! What about the resurrected guy in the first level of final destination? I just defeated him using all neutral attacks and didnt unlock him...
