Hey look, a Mega Man fact thread?! That's right, this thread is entirely based on the facts we know of Mega Man that might sound a little kooky or a bit out-there, but they tend to make it so that the Mega Man Series has it's fair share of interesting facts! So, let's try to get out there and spread… Read More

Why did you copy/paste the entire Trivia section of the MMKB Mega Man 4 page?

When I first posted, it was usually stuff I knew and then I starting forgeting trivia and now I have to look it up on the wiki...... and then I just starting copying and pasting......
"I'm a nice guy.....and uninspired too!"
I guess it saves you from actually looking on the trivia 4 page......

A website for trivia! Although common, there were a few I didn't know....maybe.

Ironically, Cut Man, a lumber-cutting robot, is weak against the Leaf Shield, Wood Man's weapon, in Mega Man: The Power Battle.
Also, interestingly enough Plant Man is weak to Gyro Attack in Mega Man: The Power Battle but in Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters Gyro Man is weak to Plant Barrier (Plant Man's weakness having been switched to Atomic Fire), so both bosses switch weaknesses between games

I guess that goes to show that perhaps the arcade games aren't a good source for determining weaknesses for RMs. Anyway, I guess this may be common knowledge, but Flash Man actually is weakest against Crash Bomb, but a direct Crash Bomb hit does not do much to him. Make him run into the Crash Bomb explosion instead, though, and I thought a full explosion took away like a third of his health in Normal mode. The explosions also hurt Quick Man quite a lot.

Here's something interesting: Bright Man was originally named Pearl Man, after a popular brand of Japanese light bulbs.

A few websites. Although it is common knowledge, you could use it. Some quizzes too!

Did you know Mega Man 9 uses some familiar themes?
The song that plays on the Main Menu is the music that plays on the Password screen in Mega Man 2.
The song that plays when Mega Man gains a weapon is similar to the theme from Mega Man 2.
The song that plays on the Wily Castle map is the music that plays on the Wily Castle map in Mega Man 2.
The game over theme from Mega Man 2 is reused for Mega Man 9's game over screen.

So they jacked a lot of stuff from Mega Man 2, since that's the one everyone likes.
Well okay.

Hilarious how Metal Man is murdered easily by his own weapon. The same goes kinda the same for Megs the Man 3.

Also in Megs 3, the Doc Robot's weaknesses might seem...strange.(Air Doc Robot Man- Spark Shot and Magnet Missile)

It's(been) Summer! Course, I still don't get off work......

Originally, Fire Man could melt ice.

In Mega Man Official Complete Works, Keiji Inafune stated that Heat Man was his favorite Robot Master from Mega Man 2, because he's such a "gimmicky" character.

In Mega Man: The Power Battle, unused sprites show animations of Heat Man lighting and smoking a cigarette. Maybe he isn't so kid-friendly after all.

Turbo Man is a Flame core.

Sword Man already had a template for him made for fan submissions. He was "Katana" Man.

The first episode of Mega Man: Upon a Star has several (over 20) fire robots called Magma Man that were created by Dr. Wily in Mount Fuji.

Solar Man apparently has no visible head in his sprite, along with red hands instead of white, and his feet are also red instead of white.

Pharaoh Man has the same signature pose as Drill Man. Does that mean they're the...same?!

The jewel on Flame Man's head is green, but due to color limitation of the NES, it is orange in his Mega Man 6 mugshot.
