Mega Man RPG Prototype Game Development

A change to Tengu Man. It's good, but it could go to a bunch of other robots.(Bass, Ballade) We need everyone to be different.


Start: "You think you're worthy of my challenge? Don't make me laugh."
Taunt: "C'mon, Someone like you isn't even worth the effort!"
Victory: "That was weak. I would have thought you could've at least provided a good fight."
Defeat: "Impossible! Being defeated by you is simply regretful...."

Bubble Man
Start: "The sea will swallow you whole!"
Taunt: "You're going to drown if you keep that up!"
Victory: "Have fun in Davy Jone's locker! A fitting end for you!"
Defeat: "SOS! Save me! I'm sunk for sure....."

Heat Man
Start: "Wait a minute....I could get ignited."
Taunt: "Watch out for my heat, I guess?"
Victory: "I guess I did it. What did that accomplish again?"
Defeat: "Meh..Doesn't matter. I wasn't really paying attention....."

Anyway, I have quotes for Solo. This is simply a placeholder set of quotes until we know more about this chairman. I just used Solo from Star Force as a basis, due to that being his confirmed first appearance. (Doesn't he appear in Star Force 2 first though?)

Start: "I have no intention to play with you. At most, you'll just be a tool for us to use."
Taunt: "You haven't fallen yet. I suggest you do before I get serious."
Victory: "I admit you were strong...But I don't work with anybody!"
Defeat: "That power?! Perhaps you would be a valuable asset for us in the future....."

Ok, I've been reviewing quotes. Normally, if they were mine, I'd just change em, but considering I didn't make any of these mentioned, I feel that I should post and have Adrian compare which one he prefers. Wouldn't be fair to change someone else's after all.

Shadow Man
Start: "For me to dirty my hands on a weak Ronin such as yourself...."
Taunt: "You cannot defeat your own shadow, you fool!"
Victory: "To come at me with such a obvious attack....means death!
Defeat: "Not even my Kawarimi no Jutsu could trick you....You are the better warrior."

Shade Man (I liked his quotes, but I'd find he would be more of a gentleman.....with a taste for blood oil.)
Start: "You look like a tasty morsel...Perhaps I could take a bite?"
Taunt: "The sound of my voice is simply hypnotizing, isn't it? Come here and let me feed."
Victory: "Tonight, your oil will be with much classier company..."
Defeat: "The light has come...My thirst wasn't quenched...."

Star Man (His were definitely great, but I felt it could use a little more drama.)
Start: "There are millions of stars in the universe....But only one Me!"
Taunt: "Your mind is spaced out, allow me to get your attention!
Victory: "I always knew that I was the brightest star in the universe!"
Defeat: "There's always show business, I suppose....."

And that's it.

A change to Yamato Man:

Start: "Watashi wa Nihon no namae de anata o taosu shinakereba naranai!"(I shall defeat you in the name of Japan!)
Taunt: "Watashi wa anata ni watashi no jūdō gijutsu o shiyō suru hitsuyō wa arimasen!"("I don't need to use my Judo techniques on you!")
Victory: "Nippon Banzai!" (Long Live Japan (MM&B CD Data))
Defeat: "Dan eigo o hanasu robotto wa, karera wa amarini mo tsuyoidesu!" (Darn English Speaking robots; they're too strong!)

@Nagasaki : like his starting words could be: I am shade man, i will suck your oil! or something. Edit: i made it from blood to oil, because well megaboss said shade man and sucking oil, so yeah.

@Nagasaki: Really? Never knew that ... The reason I put Taekwondo is because he apparently practices Martial Arts, and Taekwondo is the first thing that came to mind... I'll change that....

@coolbie16 : Can be...But it's better to apply it on an accent where vampires are famous at, where I for them is Ve. I think it's a Germanic one, I suppose. Look at Fire Emblem's Athena for reference.

Well, the accent is supposed to be something like that whole Hollywood Transylvania stuff. However, Shade Man doesn't have a accent, he's supposed to sound like a gentleman. If you've ever read Megamix, it's pretty notable there, as well as Shade Man's one line in "Worlds Collide." I was trying to make him seem like a gentleman. If it was up to me, I would have made him like Dracula from the 1931 film, but unfortunately I can't. Darn it Capcom! I think only one robot is nothing like his canon counterpart, but there's so many robots like him, I had to change his personality. Plus, his personality resembled my idea better than the original.

@Nagasaki yes, i know it is german,(or british.) just what a said with the vampire accent, i dont know...

@coolbie16 : It's German, if I recall. The voice where Wily is morely voiced in fan videos and such. British accents are like American English, yet they are of different term usage.

@MegaBossMan : I haven't read the mangas yet. I am more focused on the games. But with that fact, I guess that nullfies my suggestion. (Capcom really screws that one. I think the creator of MM has other things in mind...) Yet, being a gentleman-like vampire is good... Wait does this sound more like Alucard of Castlevania? I don't think so...

and i was also thinking of an opening quote for bass, "i am bass, and welcome to your doom." whaddya think?

I imagine Bass as a rebellious type of person robot (silly me). The welcome to your doom part will put him of character.

Anyway, I have a Start quote for Bass, more along his lines. I'm not a big fan of his Start quote currently, as Bass would be the one who would rush into battle, not the other robot.
