Spring Update Preview : Mega Man Goes Shopping

Hello everyone! I've got some pictures from Adrian about the next update! It seems that we might have a shop now! Why else would there be screws in the Item Database?
ADRIAN EDIT : Sorry! I should have given you a rundown of how to host and post images. XD I've uploaded all the screenshots I sent you to the website's preview folder. Sorry for the trouble!
As far as that screenshot goes, yes - I am trying to add the shop in this update. Or at least something resembling one. I'd like to keep the exact mechanics a secret right now while I finalize details, but I think it will add a very fun layer to the game and make much use of all those extra Energy Pellets and Weapon Pellets you have laying around in your inventory. :P Oh, and before you get too excited the star-shaped item is just a Field Star (which are items as far as the programming is concerned).
MEGABOSSMAN EDIT: Yes, the so much asked for Mega Man 3 bots are finally arriving! Bash through your enemies with these newly-added Robot Master!....And their Mechas!

#6 Time to summon the speculation device once again!
1.The first pic obviously shows off Top Man's stage. Apparently, the stage was completed twice. The flea robots are in the stage, as stated by Adrian.
2. I believe that's the demo being played there. Only three turns. Mega Man is obviously changing color. Light's house is not visible.
3. Mega Man was originally purple until the electric core affected him. Mega Man is also very "Powered Up" in his stats. The field multiplier also went up 1.0. Some Mets were already killed. The Time multiplier is also up, giving us evidence that Time Cores were used.

#10 Wow. The speculation device never worked that well for me. There was a list by the players on who gets who in the Suggestions thread but I think that was just one big mess. MM9 for Light, 8 for Cossack, and 7 for Wily? I know 8 wasn't created by Wily so possibly Cossack gets them?

#11 I think it was the MM7 Robot Masters that were made by someone else. Might just be Megamix though. Still, the Proto Shield was a secret weapon in that, so Cossack could get them because of that.

#14 I think it's plenty good looking. Mind you, it would be easier on the eyes if it were a screenshot instead of from a camera, but eh, the in-game stage won't have that I think.

"Great job, and thank you again! I do feel bad about the quality of the last screenshot though, so I exported better, animated ones to make up for it. These two have already been uploaded for you, so all you have to do is post them. :)
Next time I take gameplay photos I'll send them to you directly and you can post them at your convenience. I've only completed two of the eight fields so far, but I've completed almost all other parts of the update and finally have a rhythm pushing me forward. I still plan to get this done by the end of May, but oh boy is it going to be tight! If only I could take a week off work JUST to work on the game. :P
Oh, and one more thing. I decided to scrap the Heart Tank item and it will not be included in the update. The mechanic it introduced just wasn't fun and negatively affected the flow of the game. Sorry to anyone who was looking forward to it, but many other items and features DID make it through and will absolutely take the game in a whole new direction. :)
Anyway, thanks again and look forward to more updates throughout the week!"

Nothing much this time. Did you notice the animated stars and constellations in Gemini Man's stage. The field is also from inside that stage, while the outside is actually the outer area you start at! Also, did anyone notice the tab in the original Gemini picture? One of the tabs was "Needle Man stage". I think we know who's going to be made next......
Top Man's clouds are animated. Also, the solar panels change various colors. Who knows how many colors there are?

I like how shiny Gemini Man's stage is. The gradient stands out compared to most stages.
