So, you want to increase your attack, defense, and speed, eh? Well, you've came to the right place! Here's how you can make your puny Robot Master into a force to be reckoned with!
To begin, go to your Robots and give your strongest RM that you currently have and give them either Attack/Defense/Speed Swap (Depending on which stat you need increased for you other RM). Then, go to the Into Field with your strongest RM and the RM that needs stat increasing. Use the swapping move on one of the Mets, swap over to the other RM. Once you kill the Met with the high stats, which isn't all that strong even with the newly found power, your RM will get stronger than it would if it were to kill an average Met (For instance, killing a Met with default stats will give you +1, while a Met with 9999 of a stat will give +50).
And, there you have it! If you have anything to add on to this strategy, please let me know, so I can make this an even better strategy than what it already is.
Stat Grinding Posted by 2018StudiosN on March 15th, 2015 at 9:18pm Viewed 1147 Times
Actually, think twice before doing it on a met. Do it on the big boys (robots)! Go to any stage that has a robot (not mecha) and repeat the strategy on the robot. This will harvest 100 stat points as opposed to 50.
Well, early on, I found that to be a bit more of a time-consuming tactic, due to how the mechas get in the way of the Robot Master, but later on in the process of grinding, I would recommend swapping out the Mets for the randomized RMs in the Bonus Field.
I think he means the Mega Man Killer fights, since they don't have Mets or anything, it's just the Killer. It'd be best to level Defense first, so you can survive a capped Power attack.
Hm... It does seem like the Killers' stages are an effective means of getting +100 of a stat at a time, but for grinding multiple stats with two RMs, I would recommend going to stages with multiple RMs.
As of my First full Max Robot, Toad Man, I Can say this. Your first RM you train, Train them swapping their Stuff. When they have full max, Bring that RM with max and the RM you want to train. I'd Say Train defense And speed first.
