Ok so my church is holding a Smash 4 tournament with the prize being a Switch with Smash Ultimate. I have begun training.

(If anyone's interested in the tournament, here's the information.)

@Spectre : While yes, Bandana Dee certainly has a good chance of getting into Smash, there are a few problems with Sans and Goku, particularly the latter.
For starters, there's the fact that Goku hails from an anime/manga series primarily, and Sakurai explicitly stated that he was strictly allowing only game characters in.
As for Sans, there's the matter of him being from a one-off indie game, not to mention how he isn't the main character of said game. (best chance for him to be in Smash would be as an assist trophy, much like Shovel Knight)

I'm surprised that Joker from Persona 5 is coming to Smash, but WHY GOKU AND SANS?! Those fighters will NEVER be in the game!

Also be real mate. There's absolutely no way Goku will be a smasher, stop thinking he'll join the roster.

Since that Joker is now fully playable in Smash Ultimate, I will use him as my third main because my first main is King K. Rool, while my second main is Incineroar. Hope you guys enjoy Easter!

I'll play The Hero for sure but I'm not sure about Banjo

Well, we're only 3 days away from November, and that's where we need to wait for Terry Bogard. But DLC Fighter #5 remains a mystery. It will either be revealed in a Nintendo Direct, or when Terry gets some more in-game Smash footage. Here's 3 of possible DLC Fighters: Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden), Crash Bandicoot, Reimu (Touhou).

@Buddy1 : Reimu ain't happening any time soon buddy, unless our drunkard love ZUN talks with Sakurai about such an addition and it gets discussed with the team, it's not happening whatso ever.

Ryu although being from Nintendo, now practically owned by Microsoft due to licensing and payment from the company, probably isn't happening either and people are also shouting "DOOMGUY/SLAYER" at the top of their lungs instead.

Crash already has a rep-game on Switch. N-SANE Trilogy. And from this i'm sure Nintendo has decided that'd probably be enough.

we'd get lucky to have any of them added, but consider a different set list for that. If by mere luck Reimu Hakurei is added, there is slim to no chance she'd be warmly welcomed as there are a great MANY people whom of which probably have never touched touhou in god knows how long.

EDIT: I meant to say Sakurai, i had forgotten about Miyamotos uhh, passing... however i am still certain that Reimu isn't comin' but if she does, i'm maining that wonderful Shrine Maiden to the heavens. SHE WILL BECOME SSS-TIER BABY

(For reference, Buddy's list is based around the top rumors right now; Ryu's been talked about on VGBoards, lot of speculation towards Reimu based on some music leaks, and someone probably mentioned Crash in a weight-watchers forum or something so that's automatically holy gospel)

At least according to Vergeben (Smash Leaker Extraordinaire), we aren't gonna get Ryu Hayubusa. At least, not yet.

He's pretty on the money so far, so if we're using leaks as evidence, I feel certain enough that we unfortunately won't be getting him in all his NES glory. Reimu, on the other hand, would been completely out of the blue and would... definitely mystify me lol. I genuinely don't think it's out of Sakurai's range of possibilities at this point, but it's not a possibility I'm looking forward to; I'd be way more excited to hear any Touhou music than any of the anime girl characters I really know nothing about. But like with Joker and Hero, while I may not be excited for their respective series, I'd be glad to see other people get excited! And no matter what, I've been super-satsified satisfied with the playstyles of the new characters, so I'm sure Sakurai will satisfy me yet again. Besides, Touhou's like a Bullet Hell game, right? That'd be interesting?
