Bit of a programming typo that showed itself up in the text of the game, can be easily fixed, no worries.
Bummer!
This occurred on a Field Multiplier lowering, and while the text should say "Bummer!", a bit of programming got mixed up in there.
Oh, and another bug, albeit not a typo.
Waaaaa?
The cause of this one is that through the favorites bar, I clicked the "Edit Profile" option, but since I wasn't logged in, it sent me to a Profile that's designed for demo accounts, thus causing this bug.

Uh, I found an interesting mistake in the database.
Astro Man in Underground Laboratory?
I wouldn't put the chances of Astro Man showing up in Underground Laboratory anytime soon...I could understand if each Robot Master already had a "template" field, but even then, no other Robot Master has this going on.

[Also Astro is a Space-core and couldn't show up in Underground Laboratory anyway]

Hey, just posting to remind everyone of the IDEAS meeting tomorrow, directly starting at 6 PM EST Time. In case, you're confused about the whole idea of IDEA meetings and NEWS meetings, please read the following paragraph.

"From now on, the topic of our SNCs will alternate between two different options week to week. The first week will be a "News" meeting where myself and the other contributors can share upcoming content, ideas, features, and mechanics with the community at large. The second week will be an "Ideas" meeting where everyone else in the community is able to submit and discuss their own suggestions for content, mechanics, and/or features for the game and website. After that we go back to News and start over."

You have to defeat Bomb Man ONLY using Neutral attacks. Inflict even the slightest damage on him using an elemental move, and it won't count.

Personally, I don't believe that Boss Abilities should be copied. That's specifically their edge, using moves that the player can't. It also helps because that way, we don't have to limit moves like Ballade Cracker. Give it to the player, and we'll have to dumb it down, but keep it Boss-only, and we won't have to restrict the move.

I do like the idea of Boss Gimmicks, but ONLY for the Mega Man Killers. Quint would not work because in the current version, you'd fight him with ONE of the Killers, so having two gimmicks at once in play would be broken, especially since this is in Chapter 3. Doc Robot doesn't need one, Copy Robots shouldn't need one....I will admit, I like the idea of the King fight. Since you fight him with Doc Robot, and Doc Robot shouldn't need one of these, only one thing will be at play here, and it's a mechanic that's interesting. As for when the Killers use them...Not the first time around.

Last time I checked the build of the mission setup in the Update, you fight the Killers twice. The first time, they're fought with Quint. The second time, with Dark Man 4. Obviously, the Killer you face depends on your doctor. I think it'd be really interesting that when you fight them the second time, they utilize these gimmicks to switch it up a bit from their last encounter, as a new trick they have to even the odds from last time. Like I said, I believe that I'd find a lot more enjoyment if the Killers, excluding Quint, were the only ones to use this whole mechanic. After all, it makes a lot of sense for when you fight them in the end-game portion of the campaign, they'd have a few new tricks up their sleeve ;) Oh, and I really do like King's whole thing, just not sure if he's right for it.

A bigger hierarchy of categories, eh? Not a half-bad idea, only that it might overdo it a bit. One thing I have pride about within this Community is it's simplicity; tons of other Communities out there are pretty much completely impossible to find topics. Also, it'd look a bit confusing when on the main Community page, as people might get lost trying to find Roleplay when it was hidden with some other thing.

Also, how would we be able to post in one of these categories? Would a mod have to manually put the thread in it's proper sub-category, or does the user have the option to choose which sub-section it goes in? In that case, what about the "Create a New Thread" on the main Community page? What would you do in that case? It's going to provide to be a lot of work, and not something I think Adrian can get done by the Update. However, in the far future, it'd be something that I could see.
Also, I disagree with calling the Roleplay/Creations's main section "Fanfics." If we were to go with subcategories, Roleplay AND fanfics can be "Written User Material" and things like sprite showcasing and other being "Sprite/Other User Material"? I dunno, it's just a name thing, don't take that into mind. Combining Bugs with Development could be a bit...Impressionable, I guess? They're similiar, but bugs are much more negative in nature and it might be a bit strange to categorize it with Development. However, I see where you're going with that, and just a small detail. Last time I checked though, Mechanics are being moved to a completely different page, I'll have to find the image for it, so you couldn't categorize it with anything :(

Either way, I like the idea, and I do want to see something like that implemented in the future. It just brings up a lot of questions that I think should be discussed in detail, you know?

Regarding Locked Threads-Completely understood, and I'm going to start on it right after this post. No disagreements here.

Regarding Community Categories-I was going to suggest a "Rules" category on the Ideas Sunday Night Chat, but I might as well address it here! I think Help is a bit too misleading, and I was going to suggest rules, but if you feel it's too restrictive....Perhaps Guidelines? It still gives off the rules vibe, but it has much more of a positive connotation, as if we're guiding the user in the right direction. Does this seem right to you? After all, many of our "rules" threads have guidelines in the name. As for possible threads we can move to "Guidelines", this thread, the Chat guideline thread, Formatting Help and Comment Guideline.....Maybe the Offical Question and Answers thread? Or do you think it would stay here, in General? Or perhaps even in Strategies....If we're pushing it, maybe the Website Suggestions? Ah, I digress. That way, there's much more room in the General Section for people to create threads, which makes sense because it's General and it belongs to the users.

Now, as of placing, I think perhaps below the Bugs thread is the wrong place. Rules are something that a new user would most likely like to see first in the Community, but it wouldn't make sense for it to be above News, so perhaps below it? Or maybe where the Mechanics section would be, since that's being replaced and moved, right? I wouldn't want to go lower than that, though. Sound like a nice compromise?

Extra Chat Channels-I think while it'll be needed for the future, not as of now. Roleplay doesn't get too many visitors anyway, so adding another channel might separate the Chat more and create a channel that doesn't get too many visitors in the first place. I'm sure there are other users who'd argue with me here, but I don't think the Chat needs anymore channels as of now.

Fanfic section-Doing this will create 1 more section in the Community, making our count from 9 to 10. That wouldn't be a problem, but I think it could be morphed with the Roleplay section. Just call it a new section, like "User-created Media" or "User-created Creations". After all, I consider Roleplay to also be user-created material, and we already have a few fan-fics down there. Does this sound like a good compromise to you? Feel free to let me know.

A bug visual bug to report, from me.
Picture it; Bonus Field, I take my Snake Man on the field. Because Nature and Shield are the highest boosted multipliers, I use Leaf Shield against my opponent, Guts Man. He uses Super Arm, boosts his defense by a solid 3000 points. I beat him easily, and....He wields 0 defense points? Last time I checked, that's more than enough defense to get a point! It's a visual bug, due to my defense being maxed out[Thanks for the reminder, Tails!]

Two suggestions for the same robot this time, it being Aqua Man! Not that Aqua Man, the one from MM8!
Firstly, I feel his stats are a bit centered on the wrong stat. A direct quote from MMKB states "However, his internal water tanks are vulnerable to breakage from heavy impacts, especially from the Astro Crush's meteors." In his stats, he reflects the defense stat heavily, which directly contradicts that quote up above. Perhaps he should be more of an all-around fighter? It's obvious he's not a speedy robot, much too porky to be one. This quote might help, though " In order to attack, he can fire controllable jets of highly pressured water,". Highly-pressurized water usually falls around a more offensive stat, meaning he could have a slight advantage in his Offense stat.
My second suggestion is to change his Electricity weakness. Personally, I think Impact would be an interesting weakness for a Water-core, and it makes sense as hard-hitting attacks, usually what Impact is associated with, have a tendency to break those tanks of his. I won't bother repeating myself with the above quote about his frail water tanks, so read up above to see it again if you wish. He also has no resistance, by the way. Flame would be the obvious one, but perhaps it's a bit too overused for Water-cores. I don't know why, but I feel like Nature could be a good resistance? What do you guys think?

Have some more stat changes, ones regarding the Genesis Unit from the Mega Man title on Genesis, Wily Wars!

Mega Water S-He's weak to Wind and Cutter. This couldn't be, because the Metal Blade, Rolling Cutter, and Air Shooter don't do any damage to him. He takes the most damage from Ice Slasher[meaning Ice], and Hyper Bomb. However, Hyper Bomb works much better for Buster Rod G than him, so the next attack that causes the most damage is....Search Snake, meaning Nature. From Hitoshi Ariga's manga, he even confirms the ice weakness.
"his body is filled with liquid. This results in an increased weakness to cold attacks, as the expanding of the liquid when it freezes causes damage to Mega Water S from the inside out."

Buster Rod G-He's weak to Water and Freeze. He's a pretty frail robot, and this is most apparent in his damage units from Wily Wars. He takes the most damage from Hard Knuckle, meaning Impact, and Hyper Bomb, meaning Explode. It makes sense to me, seeing as those are hard-hitting types and Buster himself isn't too good on defending himself.

Hyper Storm H-He's weak to Swift and Explode. This guy gets devastated by Fire Storm and Atomic Fire, meaning Flame. As for some other weaknesses, they conflict, but he does take some damage from Spark Shot and Thunder Beam. Maybe his second weakness could be Electric?

When I woke up yesterday, they knew me as MegaBossMan, the mod. When I woke up today, they call me MegaBossMan, the admin. Change really does happen quick, eh?

In case you haven't noticed it by now, I've been upgraded to an Admin! Now I'm a real number #2! Thanks to Adrian, by the way, you rock for creating this new class and trusting in me! ^_^ Anywho, I'll still be doing my best to help out Prototype, as always, since becoming an Admin doesn't mean I get to lounge around. And noooo, I'm not going to make like my avatar and try to take over the world. I will expect the shipment of sandwiches by 5 though.

I should also mention a few new categories for the rest of the team: Contributors who have added sprites, quotes, bios, anything of the sort, will gain an E-Tank. Meanwhile, Mods, the people who keep control in the Community, have a W-Tank next to their name. This was done so that you could easily distinguish the mods from the contributors. Keep this in mind!

Nonetheless, here's to keeping Prototype's Community the place it is, and with these new powers and the new additions to the Mod team, I feel confident in doing so!

4. Take a peek at Chapter 2 and Chapter 4? See something different? That's right, the multipliers have been modified! The range for multipliers now are in between 1.5-0.5, making these chapters a little bit easier to progress through for new players! So if someone like Fire Man has been giving you trouble, feel free to head back to Steel Mill and give Fire Man a heck of a fight! Please note that in the future, these multipliers will experience slight changes, so do not be alarmed. These values will also be slightly modified in the Update through the use of Easy/Hard mode, so please keep that in mind! Besides that, enjoy the new multipliers and kick those Robot Masters out of their fields!

@TheDoc : Argument #1: And that's why I was asking to see if anyone had something better :) I know it doesn't make too much sense, that Shadow thing....Snake's on bad terms with Hard Man, right? Plus, I would never imagine a hard-hitting attack would work too well on a snake, much too coily and slithery...Then again, that doesn't make too much sense either. There aren't really any types that match up with something a Snake could resist, so the whole Snake-motif thing he has won't really provide any help....He's good buddies with Toad Man, right? Maybe Water-Yeah, no, forget it. If all else fails, we could just give him one resistance.

Argument #2: "Baseballs can be whacked as hard as you want and still be 100% fine" I don't know what type of Baseballs you had as a child, but it is clear that we did not have the same brand of Baseball :P Anyway, I could go for the Nature resistance. I dunno why, but it always just felt to me that Strike Man[and baseballs in general, of course] were a bit more manufactured, which would obviously go against the idea of Nature. Yeah, I'm fine with a Nature resistance.

@TheDoc : And now for another argument! While I do agree with the changing of the resistance to Missile, I don’t believe that should be his weakness. Look at it this way, it makes much more sense(at least, to me) for Snake Man to be hit by Cutter attacks rather then a missile attack like Dive Missile blamming up straight in his face. Even if you don’t agree with that logic, there’s still the matter of Magnet Man being a huge player in Mega Man 3. And while you can argue that Bright Man is technically weak to Ring Man’s Ring Boomerang, that’s more his T2 being Space_Cutter. I’d propose keeping the Cutter-core option, and removing the missile resistance for something else….Maybe Shadow? Snake Man, canonically, seems to be always keen on surprising opponents and keeping to the shadows, not fighting them directly. Thus, he probably wouldn’t be startled by surprise attacks, and he already has a connection to Shadow, being his upcoming Poison Snake T2. That’d mean Shadow Man wouldn’t do so hot against him, but that isn’t a huge problem, right? Let me know if you have any objections or better ideas?

P.S-On the note of weaknesses, I’m not too big a fan of Strike Man being weak to flame. I don’t recall anything special between baseballs and fire, and Solar Man IS a boss in MM10. The only thing I can think of is him being weak to Impact, seeing as we don’t have TOO many bots weak to their own type. The reasoning behind this is because the main objective of Baseball is to strike the ball way up...In other words, flying, meaning that Wind might work too? Someone could argue Swift too, as another major part of Baseball is running to the bases, but something like that would feel more fit at home as a T2 for him. I mean, he does have an attack where he curls up in a ball and flings himself at the opponent, and I don’t recall any Impact_swift attacks….

I like all the ideas presented here(well, except the "giving more starforce to the opponent", but that's just me), and I think you did a great job here, Tails. One change I would like to see be implemented for the Hard side of things(might be a little harder to implement though) is when an enemy uses a multiple-stage attack, they follow through with it, or at least have a higher likelihood of picking that move next turn. For example, if you're in Chapter 3 and Mega Man charges up his Buster, I'd expect him to fire the Mega Buster the next turn, since keeping the charge doesn't really do anything for him(*Unless Adrian suddenly gets the idea of keeping the charge keeps adding benefits I.E Keeping the Mega Buster charge will continue to boost your defense until fired, but I'll save that for another day*). Likewise, if Heat Man attacks me with Atomic Fire, I should expect that he keep on attacking me with Atomic Fire and not switch to another move until it's done. Granted, it sounds pretty hard to implement, and seeing as I don't know a lick of programming talk, unlike Tails and Adrian here, I can't say for sure. Also, another problem that comes into the fray are the Elemental Busters, which continue to benefit you when you don't use it, and might even prove MORE useful than firing the shot in some cases. Yes, it sounds hard to implement and there are moves that counteract this, a few of those being Elemental Busters and Shields(Especially Shields!), but I'm just bringing up an idea here. Providing an idea never killed the cat, right?.....Right? It's just kinda laughable when Heat Man starts up an Atomic Fire and throws something completely different next turn.

I'm suggesting this because there's quite a few things I want to respond to today, but it's a bit hard to track it all down. Heck, it doesn't even have to span back far, as long as there's something that says "View all posts posted today", I'd be fine. “Hey there! As I was getting my programming done this week, I just couldn’t stop thinking about the Mega Man Killers and how much people just want them to be playable. I finally decided to give in, and in the future update, you guys will be able to use the Mega Man Killers in battle! ^_^ I just got finished coding Ballade with all the right unlockable requirements, and I’ve made something a bit...Different about them. These guys won’t be unlocked through the normal means of using Neutral-attacks on their field...But that’s something I want you guys to figure out yourself. They also don’t have any Core-type as of now[besides the same Neutral], since I haven’t finished coding it as of this email, nor their attacks. As the week progresses, I’ll send you more pictures and you can show it to everyone in the Community. I’d also like to say sorry for the fact that Quint WON’T be playable-He just wouldn’t fit in the current circumstances and will remain an non-unlockable boss. Last time I checked though, there weren’t too many Quint fans out there, so I don’t think this won’t bother anyone? Anyway, look forward to them being under your control in the future :)”

@rotomslashblast : Well, that's supposed to be a funny touch to the sprites, in a sort of cartoony way. And Bubble Bomb was made useable to give the password feature a usefulness in game, as well as just providing a move from another game to diversify things a tiny bit.

First off, ask questions here. Making a thread for questions is just unnecessary....Second off, welcome to the Community and enjoy your stay at Casa de Prototype :)

1.) Because making the Robot Masters playable is quite a bit of work. It isn't just a matter of "he already has sprites", it's a matter of much more. Very time-consuming, and we like to save big updates for adding sets of Robot Masters. Please be patient: We only have one guy working on the game :(

2.) We simply felt Bright Man would be more at home with a Time-core. It's not a matter of logic, it's a matter of future planning, you know? Looking ahead, we have TONS of Electric bots ahead, but not as many in the Time department. I'm terribly sorry if you don't agree with this opinion, but it's just the way we went. Different strokes for different folks, right?

3.) Pharaoh Curse is an under-development move. Pharaoh Man will eventually learn the move through level-up, but unfortunately now isn't the time. Much like how the MM1 bots can learn two moves, so will MM2, MM3, MM4, and basically every robot master will get two moves unique to them. You can see some of them down below in the image I've provided. Like I said, it's a matter of patience. After all, only one guy is working on the game.

I'm glad you understand, and I hope you weren't offended in any way. Your questions are good for the game, and it's nice you asked: it shows that you have a passion for the game! Please be reminded though that this game, true to it's name, is a Prototype and thus, will be for quite a while. This game isn't fully-completed after all! Anyway, next time ask questions in the link provided, feel free to continue and enjoy the game, feel free to explore the Community and the Chat, and have a good time! After all, I'm not one to stop people having fun :)

Alright, it's time for me to give out my view on these ideas. After all, it's been a few days....

1). Nononono, I think this has already been made clear. Gameplay first, story after that. Personally, I like it that way. At the most, I could only imagine Adrian would just go ahead and make those comic-based story posts if story is such a huge matter, but of course it wouldn't be finalized and would just be there because people want a reason for their actions.

2). I like the meeting, but first we'd need a chat that could limit people, and it'd have to be done when Idea: #1 is a priority. Although, seeing as how most major enemies show up in the database in the "Boss database", that'd mean people would already know who they are. Unless Adrian can keep them hidden in the database.

3). Yeah, I can agree with this. Fortunately, it's something that has been discussed before, so no worries on that part :)

4). Eh, I can't agree with this. It's not like it was something that took Adrian days of programming, so it's not like it wasted too much time on his part. The more options to play the game, the better. If Adrian feels that a Difficulty system just isn't needed, he can cut out the system. Otherwise, we can't say or decide.

5). I would address this further, but the guy above me(Doc) addressed this perfectly. Let Adrian decide when he thinks enough is enough for him. One of the ideas behind RPG Prototype for Adrian(last time I checked) was some sort of Subspace Emissary, so he'd probably want to see how many robots he can put in before he decided he's tired of it. Something to remember is that ONLY Light's First line, Wily's Second line, and Cossack's Fourth line are mandatory: Robots from games like Mega Man 3 are not necessary and are more like....Extra Robots, you know? For example, think of the lines mentioned above as your Starter Pokémon, and robots from games like Mega Man 3 are more along the lines of Pokémon you can catch, but aren't necessary at any point in the game. They're just there if you want to catch them. At least, that's how I always thought the system was, dunno if that's Adrian's final plan.

2.0_0….Those were robo-dinosaur eggs? Aaaaand that changes my perspective on Slash Man.
3. Didn’t notice he was weak to Scorch Wheel as well. Thought that the Freeze Cracker was due to the dinosaur-motif of his, but Scorch Wheel proves me wrong. Then again, Burst is….Never mind.
4.Yeah, can’t exactly argue with my own point. The ratio is pretty unbalanced, and you’re completely right in that regard.

Yeah, you guys make some good points, and I guess I’ll have to go for it. I’m fine with Slash Man becoming a Nature-core. Yes, that's right, I'm all for making Slash Man a [Nature]{nature core}.....Which doesn't make sense since I made an entire post revolving on why he shouldn't. Oh well.

Out of his other attacks, we have the attack where he lights himself on fire[A Nature-bot going Human Torch?] and where he drops his little sticky embers. Could we classify the Ember Drop as his T2? The attack was basically for him to set the player up in a situation where he could slash him, thus creating a little strategy somehow that we could utilize in some way in MMRPG. However….I will admit that the Nature to Cutter ratio isn’t exactly fair. I’m just throwing out ideas here.

Alright, your casually-late MBM here once again, and I’ve joined the battle to input my opinions on the Slash/Turbo hot-topic. Frankly, I don’t believe in some of the points brought up, but I’ll go into that. If you feel I’m wrong, feel free to type up a post and toss a good argument into my face. Starting up with….

>SpringSpring Man-Yeah, a small little note here, but Thunder Bolt[Or whatever Cloud’s weapon was] never healed him in the slightest. In fact, it never powered him up! The T.Bolt, in fact, simply “magnetized” him. In this state, Spring Man would attract Mega Man into his position while he was going on into his patterns. He doesn’t go faster, nor does he go slower. He doesn’t benefit from anything, expect the attracting of Rock to his position. Thus, I would classify Electric, to him, as an Immunity, not an Affinity.

>TurboTurbo Man-First off, I’d argue that he deserves an Affinity to Electric. Unlike Spring Man, he actually does receive a boost in his abilities. He becomes faster by a REMARKABLE rate, making him a much tougher fighter. “he becomes an invincible electric car for a short time if charged with high voltage electricity”(MMKB). In this case, I’d say that Turbo deserves the Electric affinity more than old Spring-head. Second off, I do not agree with the reasoning behind the Flame typing. I might as well go back to 7, and bring up his attack patterns. We all remember the Scorch Wheel, right? Of course. How about the “Crash Drive”? No? Allow to enlighten you. It’s his car-transforming technique, where he’d rush you. Obviously, we need to fix the name[Both because it is terrible and Crash Man exists], but tell me what second-typing you could give this attack? Well, none. On the other hand, Scorch Wheel can easily be Flame and Swift, thus knocking out the T2. “Crash Drive”, on the other hand, isn’t so easy. Would it really make sense to give this a second-typing? I mean, he RUSHES you. Keyword rush, which is how I’d sum up most Swift-attacks. Don’t forget we already have quite a bit of Flame-cores coming up. I know you’re throwing Nitro in my face, but I’ll throw something back….

>NitroNitro Man-I get it, his stats are comparable to Turbo. However, I don’t agree with the stats. 56 defense? I think there’s something off there[Sorry Brorman, but this is one time I don't agree with you!]. Here, look at this quote. “He is a stunt robot who has appeared in many movies and TV shows”[MMKB]. Look, he’s a stunt person. Question for the people in the class, what do stunt-people have to be? Anyone know? That’s right, durable. He’s clearly good at his job, as it says he’s shown up in many movies and TV shows. That means he can take hits. I mean, if you, as a stunt person, couldn’t perform a stunt and end up breaking your leg, that pretty much means you’re a shoddy stunts-man. I'm sorry for "breaking" your dream :( Well, Nitro isn’t a shoddy amateur; He’s a professional. Even looking at his design, you can see an example of this. He’s short and stout, and he has a huge chest. Usually, short and stout means a bit defensive, at least from the shows I've seen as a kid. Those muscles you see him packing? That's right, he doesn't have any. He's not a buff robot. He does have a huge chest, and that’s usually a symbol of a man[I mean robot] who can take a beating. Look at Ivan Drago in Rocky IV. He’s not Quick Man, who needs to be light-weight to move fast, thus being made out of paper-mache[or Raditz, for anyone who gets the joke]. No, Nitro's wheel does that for him. Nitro just doesn’t scream “high attack” to me. Plus, we really don’t have a defensive Swift robot this far, might be interesting. Thus, Swift Turbo wouldn’t be a problem, since his stats won't be similar.
[Note: In return, his attack should be lowered]

@Bt Man : Yes, at some point in time, you'll be able to face Tomahawk Man in the Bonus Field. A few(or more) Updates after that, and we'll probably be gain his Field as well.

@ThatOneEnderMan : Yes, Tomahawk is finished. I'm not making Plant Man sprites, however, Raynor is. If he doesn't finish after a while though, I'll take the relms. I do plan to make sprites for Centaur in the future though :) And yes, in the Update, Starforce will also be able to block elemental damage.

I should also mention that I made the colors for Tomahawk, and provided a few sprites of my own that may or may not show up. Everything else though, was Zion :)

Alright, now that I'm back on a suitable typing source, I guess it's time for me to do my thing.

Update Release Date: Honestly, just as we all should know at this point, release dates shouldn't be a focus. Plus, putting a time limit on yourself won't help; Trust me, sprites are the same way! So, no worries on that one!

Stat Caps: Nothing much to say about this one, we all know the drill.

Alts: Once again, nothing to say about this one. Although I will miss Tron.....Perhaps one day, we could see her in a new role?

Auto's shop: Again, we all knew this was coming.

Reggae's shop: Once again, expected. Nice touch on the whole "Inventory changes on what you sell"! Interesting touch, and one that I hope stays! It'll also provide us with some more Copy-attacks, so that's another good point. Although, I assume the stats for Overdrive(IE Attack, Accuracy) is simply a placeholder.

Coreguard: :'( RIP Coreguard...May I forever miss you, no matter how flawed you were(would've been?)

Core Throwing: Hahaha, glad to see this in effect! I just love the idea that somewhere, there could be a Bubble Man, cornered by Metal Man. Bubble Man, who appears to be trapped, throws a Swift Core to save his life. I just quite honestly love this idea, and it's about time we got items that do damage.

Mecha Shards: I remember suggesting this idea on a limb, and I'm glad to see it make an appearance in-game. I just like the idea, you know?

Robots holding Items: .....I've expressed my concerns for this idea, and it's still one that bothers me. " A robot like Roll on the other hand - using an Electric Core to grant access to the ability - would still require 6 WE to use." This sentence eases my concerns, but I just don't feel right about this idea. Oh well, it's one of those situations where you have to really use the term "Wait and find out."
)A: What happens if Elec Man were to say, hold an Electric Core? Do the reductions still occur?

Star Force: No problem here, all in the sake of balancing. We'll just have to see if it passes the "You know who" test.

Dark Elements in Prototype: I've pretty much made my opinions clear on this topic, and frankly, me giving praise won't change anything ^_^ Great idea here, Adrian, and one that I'm particularly fond of myself. Can't wait to see how this comes into play(Imagine this on Bonus Field with it's crazy high-multipliers! Not being able to use these powers to your advantage while your enemy can? Sounds pretty hectic to me! Perhaps in a Bonus Field III?).

Mecha Support: I remember reading this a while ago, and I thought "This'd be a solid idea!" Never thought it would come so soon! I like it!

Field Multipliers: Nice balancing here! Now, most players won't give up in the first few levels! Field Support being split apart is also a pretty neat idea. Especially since it matches up with Mecha Support, and things matching up are always fun.

EXP points: Solid points as ever. I also now realize that perhaps different limits for levels isn't too bad. Although please don't make it huge jumps! Leveling up in the early game is pretty hard as is. And I knew about caps for a while now, so I already expressed my thoughts.

Bosses: This is understandable. While I know a lot of people like Ballade(I'm more of an Enker-guy myself), it's best this way. Although....If there was some sort of Versus mode we could implement? As in, you choose the stakes, the fields, everything! In this mode, perhaps we could(and the reason I brought this up) even choose from Bosses and Mechas? Granted, winning this shouldn't reap you anything(Beating a Met with Slur or Enker probably shouldn't get you a Yashichi), but it's a cool thought? Sadly, something like this probably would come down the line, or even never, and I'm not even sure if you feel a Versus mode is fit for this game. Anyway, ran a bit off-topic. So, to recap, I'm fine with not using Ballade or any other Bosses.

Running a bit on the character limit here! Had to cut out a tiny bit to fit in, but I managed to compress it all. I encourage anyone else to give their own little review on the idea(I already know someone who will :P), as Criticism is absolutely necessary into creating something better, and considering every view-point!

By the way, anyone who managed to get this far on my post, feel free to come to tomorrow's chat, at 6 PM EST! We'll most likely discuss the ideas presented here.

I told you all! I told you! I had a feeling big news was coming today....Hmmm...

Anyway, I can't go too much into detail about what I think atm, but to give it a quick overview? All of it is awesome. I honestly cannot wait for these new/edited features. This isn't even an Update anymore, this is a Version 2 of Prototype! Could I even dare to call it moving up a development stage? My hype level is WAAAAAY up in the clouds. I also like the three types of mecha support-so cool ^_^! Anyway, it looks like we have quite a few things to discuss tomorrow :)

Speaking of cool, who's that new bot in the MM7 section of the database?[I just had to sneak that in there!]

@Retro Pikachu : Why do I like Quick Man so much? See, my first Mega Man game was 3, which had all around bots in terms of difficulty. Mega Man 2 was also similiar, except for one Robot Master: Quick Man. Those lasers were pretty difficult to avoid, and I died more times than I can recall. When I figured out that Time Stopper could stop the lasers, I still had the problem of Quick Man himself. I spent weeks on Quick, and spending so much time on one guy really helps you gain a rival relationship. To me, Quick Man is a figure-of-hardship, fitting as I'm part of the Big 3. Plus, I reall like his sprites.

So, I have something to suggest about the Weaknesses and Resistances of Turbo Man(Since there's nowhere else to put it).

Personally, I think that his Electric Resistance SHOULD be moved to an affinity. Electric never damaged him in the slightest in 7, instead powering him up(In this case, healing him). To make up for his lost resistance, we could give him.....Explode or Cutter? He doesn't seem to enjoy the company of Burst Man and Punk. Or perhaps Nature due to him being a car? Just something to consider, and something that I personally believe should be changed.

*After a few minutes of observing the crystals around here, Time Man and Oil Man come to a conclusion…*
time-manJust as I feared. The energy around here wasn’t here before, this was a recent addition to the Chamber...And I can conclude this is the source of our problems.
oil-manWe also ain’t going to be able to radio each other too.
gyro-manAlright, we’re going to have to do the old “split and search”. A Team will be...Me, Time Man, and Knight Man. B Team will be Oil Man and Jewel Man.

@Retro Pikachu : If I were you, I'd hold off the quiz until later in the year, when the Update happens. This is a period of drought, so holding the quiz during a huge boom will probably up your results quick a bit. Course, it'd be postponed for quite a while.....
