@MetaWereSter : What if you're a college student? Especially the undergoing-thesis-stuff one? I'm telling you. It's hat feeling... x10.

@MegaBonesMan : Well, that's a relief. Looks like my EV Training (Get it? It'd the same principle after all.) is on time with the update...mainly...because I haven't stat-maxed out a single character yet. XD

So Question: After the update, is it still attainable for ANY ROBOT to get the maximum stat possible?

I'm okay with this update. In fact... I'm returning to the prototype now! (Not because of the update, but because I already have free time at least.)

@bruno : You need to beat Cossack's story (dunno if until rival battle or until final destination), if memory serves right. Wily's story unlocks Reggae. Cossack's unlocks Kalinka.

As an IT student, that's understandable. But programming by yourself is kinda harsh. Even I admit that with only one programmer on a team is HELL. (Yes. In my current thesis, we are a 4-man...even I am the only guy...team. And I am the only one doing the programming.) Sometimes, in programming, 1 is not enough to perfect anything. You might need some help...

A suggestion regarding the Player Information.

It would be nice if you base the "Top 5 Most Used Robot Masters" by summon count rather than by EXP count, assuming a player didn't mark any fave robots. And I dunno if the "Most used player" is based on number of total missions, but it's better to base it on the total mission count, too.

@Acting Mod Reisrat : So that's how that works... I thought it's basis is the summon count. Looks like it's the EXP count. And looks like they got the greatest amount of excess exp, since everyone is at Lv.100...
shadow-man I guess it must be suggested in the web info, where it must be based on the summon count rather than EXP count if there are no fave bots.
Better submit that one.

@TheDoc : I assume the Duo we know is Duo Alpha (since alpha mostly refers to "beginning"), and Duo Omega is the evil robot (since omega mostly refers to "end".)

Trio...hmmm... I dunno, but they kinda resemble the Triforce/the LoZ goddesses for me. (The effects of playing Super Smash Flash 2... -_-)

@MegaBossMan : Actually, what I'm trying to imply is to have the Gen 2 and Gen 3 Mechas get a change. I misused the term Tier for Gen. For example, Flea A (Gen 1 Red) is the Flea A right now. Flea B (Gen 2 Blue) has a new attack, or have its core changed as well, and Flea C (Gen 3 Green) has a dual-core attack, or it can be a dual-cored Flea.

Rhythm cannot get a Shield Attacker. I was going to tell the same thing as well, since those annoyances started in MM4, yet that will disrupt the protocol of "Support Robot's mechad must be a Neutral type, or if this idea of mine is gonna be implemented, Copy type." Shield Attackers are obviously a possible Shield or Impact type.

@MegaBossMan : I like the idea of a dual-mecha. But if that's the case (Met Change & Sniper Joe Change), they must be changed to Copy type instead of Neutral.

And about the Mecha Support 2, I guess it's better to put a dual-core in the third tier of the mecha instead. That way, we can say that the macha is REALLY improving beside its stats. My idea is like this.

Mecha Tier 1: Same as now.
Mecha Tier 2: Has a new attack/Becomes a different single core mecha as well.
Mecha Tier 3: Has a new dual-core attack/Becomes dual-core as well.

And I guess it will be safe if Roll summons Mets, Disco summons Sniper Joes, Rhythm summons...don't have any idea for her.

A suggestion with Shadow Man's second move. Putting this here for safety and order's sake.

Move: Shadow Assault
Type: Shadow/Swift (If Tier 2 move), Shadow (if Shadow Blade becomes the Tier 2 move)

Description: A move that makes the user move first, regardless of speed. It is weak in damage, but it has a very low chance of disabling the target instantly. (You can make this a sure-hit attack if you want, looking at its weak damage...)

Speaking of Tier 2 Moves, I got an idea for Shadow Man. This will sure benefit the Shadow Type and Swift Types, or if Shadow Blade will go at T2, it might become a Shadow-type only. I'll post it in the Prototype Suggestions for safety's sake.

I guess Final Destination III and Player Battles have the same output in terms of BP, where both give VERY high BP. The only edge of battling at Player Battles is, you can increase your Player Battle Stats, specifically, Your win-loss record, which also affects your rating at that category.

Well, I'm putting a vote here as well since I started it.

Not looking on the character background of each doc, and looking on the boosts of each doctor, I'll vote for the attacker, Dr. Albert Wily. Attacking is my thing, and when RPGs and side-scrollers are the subject, offense for me is the most vital. Besides, the goal of each game like that is to damage enemies to 0 health/energy. defense will just lower your damage, and speed just lowers your hit rate, yet you can still hit them (although speed is vital too, but less vital than attack). That's just my opinion BTW.

So, +1 for Dr. Wily.

Mecha Leader: have all Mechas reach Lv.100
Doctor-Know-it-all: Have a doctor know all learnable abilities
Genius Masterminds: Have two doctors know all learnable abilities

Let me try...

Blaze Man
"Better savor your life if you have the chance."

Blaze Man is a robot as his creator's reflection. With an attitude same to his master, Blaze Man treats him as his father, and his subordinates as brothers. However, his dependency to his master is of the great extent, that he can only move with a detailed instruction. Without a guide, Blaze Man is more likely to mess thing up. He did, however, made a lot of achievements without his creator's help, and is proud of it. His weapon, the Phoenix Blaze, which shoots a burst of flame energy in the shape of a charging Phoenix, makes him sometimes ponder with depression of his real purpose.

Good Point: Family-oriented, Loyal
Bad Point: Dependent, Lonely
Likes: Role Playing Games
Dislikes: First Person Shooter games

And I will be the second to post a goodbye a leave (it's a better term).
Starting later, up to Aug 10, I need to finish my thesis project (kinda rushing in there)...

So... I might not be playing (and of course, go online, if my endurance can handle it) often that time. It might be possible for me to play for a few mins though, for breathers.

Wish me luck here...

P.S. Any computer-based thesis project is 1.5x - 3x harder than a normal thesis project. -sobs-

@coolbie16 : Still don't have an idea yet. But it can be added to an RM which traits seem to be a prideful one.

@MegaBossMan : Ohhh. that toon. That's not even an anime. Animes are cartoons that are originated in Japan or created by a Japanese. And I don't think that's from a Japanese (or is it? O.o)... At least the Rockman.EXE one is anime, although it's not the classic.

And I'm always in the chatroom whenever I'm online... It's just... I'm sometimes lonely in there. T.T

ANYWAYS...

MMX9: I don't think the X series must NOT extend more. It must end at X9 or X10. Sigma must be defeated at that time. Vile must re appear again, and Axl must be off the game (we already have a shooter and a melee specialist.)

EDIT: added NOT. Spelling check.

I guess this idea goes here... It can be on the bug section too, but I decide to post it here since this is more of a suggestion than a report.

I made Dr. Wily use 13 robots, and when I am going to play a battle, the Start button overlapped the 13th button. I can't see a scroll bar either, or any way to select the 13th robot than click that tiny part of the 13th robot's box and hope it doesn't trigger the start button.

Suggestion: Have a scroll bar for these cases.

EDIT: Never mind. I overlooked at it and I discovered that the scroll wheel on the mouse and the scroll bar in the web browser can do this. I got confused back there.

BTW... Confirmed. Mechas can't be stat-maxed, even if they disable someone. Every time a mecha is summoned, its stats are of the base value.

*copy-pasted from my mail in the MMRPG e-mail address for posterity*

- Selecting the Robot Masters per round: It's too troublesome to Click X and start picking all robots who will go in your lineup, so it would be good to add a feature where you can deselect a selected robot master.

- Game Freezes in battle when switched to a new tab: Sometimes, players tend to forget clicking that pause button just to check another tab on the browser (eg. checking their Facebook accounts) when in battle. As a result of this, the game freezes. However, this only happens in battle, so it's nice to have an auto pause feature when changing tabs or windows, or preferably, fix this bug.

- Selecting a player all over again after checking on another game tab: Occasionally, I check on the Robot Database for my progress in finding Robot data, in order for me to become prepared when this enemy will strike again in the next chapter, also I edit my robots to customize their abilities per battle. The problem lies with going back to home after checking such stuff. It makes you select whose player are you going to use. It's nice if the game redirects itself from where he left, like in the chapter select screen automatically.

Will post more of observations someday. As of now, game is A-OK.

REASON FOR EDIT: Wrong placement of bullet.

A suggestion eh? How about the made RMs from hacks, like Rock Force and Unlimited? Or the PC version RMs? You can also add Quake Woman in the roster.

For original RMs, I suggest we make a competition regarding that. Winner becomes a recruitable char in the prototype!

As for Mecha Supports (just feel like adding one)... Yellow Devil suits for Final Destination, or the Dr.Light Rival battle.

Thanks for the "quick" assistance!
Another question though, since I'm planning to complete my Dr. Light run today, trying to leave no trace behind except for bonus stages.

1. What is that "heart sign" in the Robot Editor? Is that a marking or some sort?
2. Final Destination III's info says "Defeat the army of powered up Robot Masters and download their data!" I already acquired all RMs, and all their moves learnable by level. What is this "data" coming from them? I already tried beating them Buster-only, as well as beating them with their weaknesses, and beating them with the same RM. No data appeared.
3. Same with 2, only in the Intro Fields. I already got both Field and Mecha Support. Still the info says there's another data to be acquired.

So much for the super warm welcomes. I totally appreciated it.

@Retro Pikachu: I saw the walkthrough before I plowed in the game. I just currently finished Dr. Light's story... Yet I don't want to leave everything else behind before moving onto Wily... That's why I am going to ask the General Q & A for this! :3

Reasons for Edit:
1. Wrong usage of type command.
2. Wrong smiley

Okay. Posting here for some answers since we don't have some newb guides.
1. Which RM's can you only "recruit"?
2. Which Attacks can you only get?

Hi. A new MMRPGer here. Name is Nagasaki, taostin' is my business. :3
Say, the RPG is nice! In fact, best browser-based RPG I've seen, ever! It knocked back a PBBG I know to the dumps!

However, we need more guides here for the newbs. I would like to suggest some things as I play the game, to make this as active as ever!
