yamato-man A first victory,
We all displayed great honor.
I hope this persists.

gravity-man The results are clear; this was a great success! Thank you again for the help, fellow heroes. I have not yet made your acquaintances, however. What are your names and stories?

yamato-man A first step near done,
How will this path continue?
Time will soon reveal.

Rev up those fryers, 'cause here comes two new characters!

yamato-man Yamato Man

Type: Cutter
Weakness: Earth & Explode
Resistance: Shadow & Flame
Affinity: None
Immunity: None
Energy: 100
Attack: 121
Defense: 111
Speed: 68
Motive(?): Wishes to do away with Starforce in hopes of returning fights to a more "honorable" state.

gravity-man Gravity Man

Type: Electric
Weakness: Space & Shadow
Resistance: Wind
Affinity: None
Immunity: None
Energy: 100
Attack: 82
Defense: 109
Speed: 109
Motive(?): Wants to analyze the energy that gives Starforce power.

Despite this not being canon, both robots will be under Dr. Light, if that is okay.

Oh, the Doc is in? Guess I better get to asking.

1. What made you decide to shoot up to the top of the leaderboard when you were originally around 25?
2. How do you feel about Mighty Number 9?
3. Hot or cold weather?
4. Do spooky scary skeletons send shivers down your spine?
5. What are your thoughts on the Battle Network series?

Tails is up? *starts rubbing hands while laughing maniacally* Alright-y then.

1. I seem to recall you saying you originally ground up your robot's stats due to a surgery. If this isn't too personal, what was it?
2. How do you have enough patience to climb the leaderboard thrice?
3. Do you have any regrets about resetting, or our you happy in helping end the BP inflation your robots caused?
4. Wait. If you are TailsMk4... WHERE ARE MARKS 1-3?!?!? (This is definitely the most important and not at all sarcastic)

... I am obviously not understanding something here. Fan characters can use different varieties of moves, but can standard characters only learn their moves? What version of the Chill Spike are you basing this off of, or does that not even matter?

(Wait, you can attach Chill Spikes to objects. If it doesn't hit an enemy in MM10, it creates 3 small spikes onto the ground or wall. I was using these properties for the Ice Wall, which is literally a wall, but this whole point is mute because I misunderstood what you said about the original Ice Wall, as I figured the Dust Crusher would have broken it. tl;dr version: I need to learn how to read)

Ice Man launches 2 spikes near Dust Man, causing small crystalline cones to appear.

(I am trying to counter act that by having Ice Man's moves have slow start up, but if the freezing gets to be too much, just let me know.)

Ice Man creates an Ice Wall and attempts to push it towards Dust Man, but Ice Man can only barely get the shield to move due to his small structure. It does eventually get moving, however.

2. Who is better (not your personal favorite), Crash Man or Napalm Man?
3. Which game has the better soundtrack, Mega Man 2, 3, or 4?

1. Who's your favorite, Mega Man, Bass, or Proto Man?
2. Why are you using your current profile picture?
3. Favorite song (not excluded to Mega Man)?
4. What's your favorite series of classic robot masters (1st Unit, 3rd Unit, Bass Unit, etc)?

@ThatGuyNamedMikey : Hey Mikey, I'd figure I would post a few of my opinions here like you had wanted, considering everyone is wanting to talk in chat. I am not going to post responses on every idea simply because people who truly understand could do them much more justice than I could.

Subject 3: To me, this is like saying "You can't have your cake and eat it too." Let's say Blue Ring Man is restricted to use Water abilities. Now, I may prefer this Ring Man color scheme to the original, but what if I want my Ring Man to use Wind moves, and not Water moves? If we just have the held item mechanic, I can have my Blue Ring Man AND use my Air Shooter too.

Subject 4: I can about half agree with this, because it seems you are suggesting adding one tedium and removing another. I think items should be able to be spent at any store. If each store sells different items, but bought items get shared between the three doctors, what if the point? If every shop sells every item, then I don't have to go specifically to Wily's game to sell a core when I was playing with Cossack. However, I don't see the harm in holding 99 items. If you really have the zenny to do that, power to you. It doesn't prevent excessive item usage for younger players or collectathon-mentalities for more experienced players.

@TheDoc : I... he... but... crap. I gotta agree with you here. If he is made to disarm bombs, he should be resistant to them. However, this leads to the question of what his weakness should be. Something like Fire comes to mind, but there are already several Explode core robot masters weak to Flame, so I propose something else. It is a bit of a stretch, but I think it could work. Commando Man is obviously a military themed robot, so I would assume that antenna on his back is for more than pretty looks. I would assume, as a military robot, he sends radio signals through it. Do you know what blocks a radio wave pretty well? Something called a Farady Shield, which is a protective structure made from conductive materials, which makes it's own electrical field, disrupting radio waves. I believe there are no Explode robots weak to Electric, so why not Commando Man? Obviously, this is quite a reach, so if we can come up with any other ideas, by all means.

@TheDoc : On the topic of Commando Man, I agree with his weakness being Swift over Cutter, but I think the weakness of Explode is fine for two reasons:

1.) Hard Man is weak to Impact, his own core. This makes sense from Mega Man 3, where Hard Knuckle was good against him. In fact, all Mega Man 3 robot masters were weak to their own weapons. A robot being weak to it's own core isn't unheard of.

2.) This may seem a bit silly, but if a bomb went off near other bombs, do you think they are gonna say "My my, that was quite the annoyance. Could you pass me some tea?", or do you think it's gonna explode?

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you...
Mega Man: Wily's Onslaught

Wily has finally had it with all of Mega Man's success. He has sent out the best of the best of his robot masters to various locations to lure Mega Man into various traps. It's time for Mega Man to throw down with the mad doctor in 8 crazy action packed stages. Maybe he can finally stop the doctor for ever lasting peace. (Can you tell I try to make these sound like corny back of the video game case descriptions?)

Robot Masters
metal-man Metal Man
quick-man Quick Man
heat-man Heat Man
gemini-man Gemini Man
hard-man Hard Man
gravity-man Gravity Man
star-man Star Man
napalm-man Napalm Man

Weaknesses
Metal Man: Quick Boomerang and Hard Knuckle Quick Man: Gravity Hold and Napalm Bomb Heat Man: Hard Knuckle and Gravity Hold Gemini Man: Metal Blade and Star Crash Hard Man: Napalm Bomb and Gemini Laser Gravity Man: Star Crash and Metal Blade Star Man: Atomic Fire and Quick Boomerang Napalm Man: Gemini Laser and Atomic Fire

We can't quite take out Wily yet! He has sent out four Doc Robots programmed with some of Light's Bots and Cossack's Bots abilities.

Doc Robot 1 (Found in Metal Man's Stage) : ring-man Ring Man Weak to Atomic Fire
Doc Robot 2 (Found in Hard Man's Stage) : drill-man Drill Man Weak to Star Crash
Doc Robot 3 (Found in Gravity Man's Stage) : elec-man Elec Man Weak to Quick Boomerang
Doc Robot 4 (Found in Napalm Man's Stage) : bomb-man Bomb Man Weak to Gemini Laser

We can now finally storm Wily's Castle, which is filled with upgraded traps and robots from the past.

I guess Ballade Cracker could be Explode... Swift? Maybe just pure Explode? TheDoc brings up a good point in that the boss fights should be stronger, but maybe we could make Quint super strong to balance out him not being unlock-able? Well, whatever happens, looking forwards to the Killers!

Mega Man: Day in the Limelight is a series of games were you play as a group of robot masters and play through stages based off of the next consecutive game. There has been a 1st and 2nd game, but the main creator Riverroad has seemed to be taking it slow and steady on the 3rd game, where there have been only 4 robot master stages done. I figured it would be cool to try to give ideas on the rest of the game, so I present to you: Mega Man: Day in the Limelight Fan Edition!

Story Part 1: Dr. Wily has been busy, preparing his next world domination scheme, when the mysterious Dr. Cossack appears, claiming to be taking over the world. How dare he! Everyone knows you're the greatest threat to the world! You figured Mega Man would appear to defeat Dr. Cossack, but he strangely has not appeared to counter the new threat. It's time to send the third generation robots to show Cossack who's boss!

Characters:
Needle Man has the ability to shoot out spurts of needles, but he can also shoot out the needles on his head to both damage enemies and latch on to walls. His slide also does damage.
Magnet Man can manipulate magnetic forces at anytime. When there is no gravitational force, the Magnet Missiles have no tracking property. However, the Magnet Missiles do track enemies whenever the Magnet Pull is in affect.
Gemini Man can create clones when standing still. The original Gemini Man stays put while the copy continues forwards. If the original or copy get damaged, the copy disappears. If the copy dies, the original does not. The Gemini Laser can reflect off of walls, ceilings, floors, and even some enemy attacks.
Hard Man has the ability to launch is Hard Knuckles, which fly forwards and can hurt enemies multiple times. Hard Man can slam the ground in mid air, also hurting enemies. At any time, Hard Man can retract into his shell-like body, ignoring all damage.
Top Man can start twirling whether on the ground or in the air. While twirling, he becomes immune to small projectiles and can deal damage to small enemies. For larger enemies, he can shoot out a large top, doing constant damage during it's spin. Top Man has the fastest slide.
Snake Man is able to shoot Search Snakes, which will climb up everything but ceilings. He can also climb up walls, just like his Search Snakes.
Spark Man shoots Spark Shocks forwards uncharged, but in 8 directions when charged. If an enemy is not destroyed by the attack, it will be paralyzed, but it also becomes invincible from Spark Shocks. While paralyzed, the enemies become platforms you can jump on.
Shadow Man jumps higher than any other robot master. He can shoot Shadow Blades in any direction, but has to stop to throw them while on the ground. Shadow Man can still throw Shadow Blades during his slide.

Weaknesses:
In Mega Man: Day in the Limelight, the weaknesses are a bit tricky. You take the weakness order of the robots you are fighting, then apply the playable robot masters to the chain. For example, Dust Man is good against Skull Man, so Hard Man is also good against Skull Man. Bright Man is good against Pharaoh Man, so Spark Man is also good against Pharaoh Man.

Stages:
needle-man Needle Man vs Skull Man skull-man
magnet-man Magnet Man vs Ring Man ring-man
gemini-man Gemini Man vs Drill Man drill-man
hard-man Hard Man vs Dust Man dust-man
top-man Top Man vs Dive Man dive-man
snake-man Snake Man vs Toad Man toad-man
spark-man Spark Man vs Bright Man bright-man
shadow-man Shadow Man vs Pharaoh Man pharaoh-man:

After we fight Cossack's robots and unlock our robots, it's time to take on Cossack.

Cossack Citadel 1: Mothraya-Weak to Spark Shock.
Cossack Citadel 2: Square Machine-Weak to Magnet Missile.

@TheDoc & @MegaBossMan : Well, you both make pretty good points that makes my argument seem null. The ratio between planned flame core robots and swift core robots is about 2:1, and a stat change to Nitro could help create difference between him and Turbo, so now I'm kinda agreeing with swift core Turbo.

@MegaBossMan : I'm sorry, but it seems to me Slash Man makes perfect sense as a nature core. Even when ignoring the stage's influence Slash Man still:
A. Appears to be based off of a wolverine type animal.
B. The amber/goop he drops from the ceiling are supposedly (robo?)dinosaur eggs.
C. Is weak to Freeze Cracker and Turbo Fire, which represents extreme temperature changes hurting part of an ecosystem, or nature.
D. As you addressed at the end of your post, there are 7 total planned cutter core robots, but only 5 planned nature core robots, one of which being a newly created robot. By switching Slash from cutter to nature, those numbers would equal out.

I'm sorry if this came off as antagonizing or attacking, but I am trying to write this as my head starts feeling 10 times heavier than normal, and my eyelids 100 times.

@TailsMK4 : That's not a bad idea, Tails. I remember how we used to dedicate whole legacy chats to those, so having a thread would make them much more accessible.

@Adrian Marceau : For a Slash Man 1st tier ability, I could easily see the goop attack being formatted for this. It could function like Ice Breath in how it stops opponents from switching. Maybe it would be called "Trap Beast" or "Beast Amber"? Something like that anyway. As for the Scorch Overdrive, it seems like a good way of adding more speed elements without reducing the flame aspect.

@Adrian Marceau : As a response to the new information about the Mega Man 7 robots, I like the changes to Spring and Cloud Man, but Slash and Turbo Man have a problem that links to a certain robot master: Nitro Man.

For Slash Man, as cool as it would be to have a robot learn unnatural core attacks, let's take a look at the proposed Slash Claw. Cutter swift is a core attack that would become too common here. Quick Boomerang is fine due to how differently the attack would (probably) work from Slash Claw, but then there's the problem with Wheel Cutter. If we have Slash Claw, which would most likely attack the front robot, and Quick Boomerang, which would attack any selected enemy, how would Wheel Cutter stand out? I would suggest we just have him be nature core. If someone REALLY wants a swift attack on him, there will be the core change mechanic by the time these guys come out, so I don't see the problem.

As for Turbo Man, this may by more of a personal nitpick, but it always felt to me like Nitro Man was just a redesigned, slicker Turbo Man. The problem is, we want the robots to be diverse in this game, so having two robots with swift core, pitiful defense and good attack and defense is redundant. I would think that Turbo Man should stay flame core, but I am obviously not running this game.

tl;dr version: The way I see it, this is how I think it should be handled:
Make Slash Man nature core with Slash Claw being nature and cutter core.
Keep Turbo Man as Flame Core so he can be somewhat different from Nitro Man.
Although, who would actually listen to me? I'm just some guy too lazy to try to get higher on the leaderboard that barely even attends chat meetings anymore.

crash-man Hmm, it seems there has been quite some discussion around this supposed caped robot and his team. Apparently, various heroes are preparing to go after them. Not many people or robots need a hired gun anymore, but maybe this could be my chance to get a new job!

Introducing... Combat Man! Gun for hire! crash-man
Core: Missile and Cutter
Model: WBN-002 (Weapon Business Number)
Abilities: He is not the fastest, the most durable, or the smartest, but he has experience with many kinds of weaponry and can use almost any tool, whether it be a Plasma Blaster, Throwing Knives, or even a Missile Launcher.

top-man Everything is a game for jolly Top Man. Life is a bowl of cherries that Top Man is gulping down after being dared by one of his Spin Fiends. He doesn't take his work too seriously, being naive to Wily's heinous intentions. Top Man is just here to dance, spin, and maybe fight a robot, if that is what he has to do. He is put at odds with all work no play robots like Shadow Man or Proto Man, but often goofs around with Gravity Man, seeing who can go through their stages fastest.

snake-man Snake Man's job is too use his Search Snakes to map out and scout areas he is sent too, but this feature is often used for espionage when in combat. Due to the constant observation from the outlines, he has become detached from those around him. Snake Man looks upon others cynically, even his own brothers and Dr. Wily. The only hobbies Snake Man has outside of his work is caring for his robo-snakies in his stage and stalking Toad Man, just to elicit a frightened response. Snake Man uses a whistle like sound similar to that of a pungi to give commands to both his Search Snakes and his robo-snakies.

spark-man If he has just discharged, Spark Man seems like a relaxed, slow going robot. However, when Dr. Light and Wily were designing Spark Man for high output and input charges, they had to design power sources around the personality chip on his core. This means as Spark Man gathers more and more electricity, he starts to become erratic and anxious due to the electrical interference to his personality chip. Spark Man has been taught how much electricity he can withstand be measuring his electrical interference levels before burning himself out. Spark Man will eventually get to the point where he will be desperate to discharge on anything with his Spiked hands for fear of his own life. In long term situations he can control his current easily. However, in short term high power situations, such as combat, he is a ticking time bomb that only his opponents can delay.

shadow-man Due to his alien origin, Shadow Man had to have almost six full months of reprogramming done by Dr. Wily all under Dr. Light's nose. Wily has left parts of Shadow Man's original program that seem aid in making strategies for combat, but this sometimes leads to conflicts with his new programming, creating minor glitches. Shadow Man is fully aware of his disconnect to the fellow third generation robots, but Shadow Man does not care. He focuses solely on the mission given by Wily and nothing else. As a matter of fact, Shadow Man only seems to only trust and interact with Wily, as he feels it his responsibly for being reactivated by him.

needle-man Needle Man is a perfectionist to the point that people have labeled him OCD. What seems random and overly complicated to others has a completely reasonable algorithm or formula too it, and Needle doesn't understand why other robots can't see them. Needle Man uses these seemingly pointless attack patterns when firing his Needle Cannon, but it is planned for each possible way the opponent could try to counter. He knits as a past time, but not crocheting. Knitting is precise work, unlike crocheting, which seems too unorganized too him.

magnet-man Magnet Man can be described as incredibly loyal and faithful to those he knows well. The problem is, he is often take advantage of his gullibility, as he can pretty easily be tricked into relationships. He's able to turn his magnets on and off at will, so he is not constantly getting attracted to robots like some assume. Magnet Man is not really a romanticist either, but he plays it up when someone makes an attracting joke. Unlike his brethren, he struggles on whether to serve Light over Wily. It is a very polarizing decision to him.

gemini-man Someone who has to constantly look at himself has to love his own face, but Gemini Me-err, Man, goes beyond that; he is obsessed with himself. However, only the first Gemini Man truly has personality. The clones are more like echos or reflections of the original. He's not necessary narcissistic, either. He has a good deal of respect for his fellow third generation robots and even some Light bots like Mega Man and Elec Man. The only thing Gemini Man loves almost as much as himself is playing tricks, which tends to come naturally when having clones. Mirror Pranks? Check. Costume Pranks? Check.

hard-man Contrary to popular belief, Hard Man is not dumb. He is soft spoken and a gentle giant, not always seeing the need to talk. Any time Hard Man isn't being asked to do manual labor, he enjoys forming ceramics with clay he can find in his canyons. He is closest friends with Heat Man, their more easy going attitudes complementing each other. Hard Man often will transport any ores Heat Man wants to smelt, and Heat Man fires any ceramics Hard Man has formed in return. Although this isn't really incorporated into his battle strategy, he loves fighting films such as the "Rocky"s and the original "Karate Kid".

Part 2 is below.

In Mega Man 6, the enemy Colton that appears in Tomahawk Man's stage and Mr. X is named after a Colt revolver, which is typically associated with cowboys and most hold 6 bullets. How many mega buster shots are needed to destroy a Colton? 6.

I guess I will give this a shot. Considering I am robot that is weak to explosives and TOTALLY didn't steal his zenny....

The hulking purple eyesore pierces into me with eyes as fiery as the sun, and I can tell what he wants. It's not my fault the zenny was so easy to steal, and those E-Tanks don't pay for themselves, so what could I do? Maybe I can put my acting skills to the test and stall him so I can charge up my Flash Stopper and escape.

napalm-man So are you going to fess up punk, or am I gonna' have to force it out of you?

flash-man No, wait! You simply do not understand. You dropped the zenny, and I was trying to give it back to you. You dropped some more over there, let me get it.

As I point to the left to show where the nonexistent zenny is, I can feel my time matrix charge up. Just about 12 more seconds and I'll be gone in a flash. Hopefully explosives for circuits here buys it.

To be honest, I do like Shadow Man to an extent, but NOWHERE near a much as other people do. To me, he is one of the more boring robot masters from Mega Man 3 (fight and stage music aside). However, the only reason I really tolerate Shadow Man is due to his role in the Mega/Giga Mix, especially during the Star Droids Story. He is probably at 4th for favorite in that game, with Snake, Hard, and Gemini outranking him, in that order.

I've always had this scenario in my head on "What if you could play as Proto Man as he rescues Kalinka in Mega Man 4?"
Proto Man: Wily's Facade

"Proto Man has discovered Dr. Wily has continued to act on his nefarious plans and has made Dr. Cossack do his bidding by holding his daughter Kalinka hostage! Proto Man must now rescue Kalinka from the 8 robot masters guarding her to reveal Dr. Cossack's puppeteer by jumping, shooting, sliding, and using his Proto Shield!"

@ThatGhostNamedMike :

1 & 2: These kinda relate to the same topic, so I am combining them. I fell no less than 150 and no greater than 200 are best, probably closer to 200 than 150. However, this fluctuates on how much xp you need. Yeah 1000 xp per level is cheap (especially with overkill bonus), but if it takes 3,137,400 to get to 250 from 1, that seems kinda excessive. If it was say 150 or 175, that would be manageable imo.

3. Seems we agree well enough here.

4. Look at what you just said. A difference of 400-500. That could be 25 in each stat. Let's say we have the Pokemon Shuckle and Registeel. Registeel has 75 more Base Stat Total than Shuckle, but that doesn't immediately outclass Shuckle. Ignoring Types and Abilities, Shuckle of course has tiny HP, Attack, Special Attack, and Speed, while Registeel has poorer Defense and Special Defense but his other stats are much better. Not to mention with so many moves they can learn changes strategies. This isn't the case with MMRPG as there simply isn't that much depth. So unless each Robot Master has DRASTIC stat differences, I still can't see this working. I mean, Pokemon still is plagued with problems of Pokemon being overused even with it's diversity.

5. Again, we seem to agree. :p

6. The only idea I have is maybe they only lasted for 3 turns? And while one was in affect you couldn't use another? I dunno, I guess there needs to be a change, but I don't see removal being it.

7. Well I 200% agree with you!

1. I agree, just maybe not all the way to 250.

2. I agree except with increasing the amount of EXP needed for level up. That combined with a level cap of 250 just encourages tedious grinding.

3. As long as it is JUST the Omniboss, I don't see a problem.

4. There is already a problem with diversity, and if this went in, why ever use Wood or Plant when I could use Hornet?

5. He said my name! HE SAID MY NAME! Anyway, I agree with Attack, Defense and Speed, but I feel indifferent on Energy.

6. Maybe they should require more Weapon Energy to use, but I think removing them is a bad idea.

7. I 100% agree.

"Wait, no! I wasn't ready!" shrieked Gamble Man. Mage Man's Mage Reverse worked on flying the lance back. A little too well, unfortunately, as just before the lance was reflected, it snagged a part of Gamble's should pad, causing him to go reflected with the lance, hanging by the shoulder. As he was held up like a token of war, he saw Insanity, still full of rage, Mage, appearing shocked by the sudden movement, and Print, who seemed to crack a slight smile while observing what Gamble was planning. Gamble seemed to be nervously fidgeting with something while Knight admired his "catch". Just before Gamble broke free of the long, sharp weapon of Knight's choice, he snickered "You are strong Knight, but let us test your reflexes." Knight sat on his horse a little confused as the bomb Gamble attached to his armored back while caught on the lance exploded, Gamble just barely escaping the explosion radius.

Gamble Man stated "If that is really what you want, Knight. Keep in mind you asked us to do this." as he launched a count bomb at the horse's front left leg. The robotic steed covered in an iron casing simply kicked the bomb back, which detonated on one of the fine red banners. "Humph. Figured that would be to easy. Gamble Man looked at the two Pawns lying on the ground after the explosion. Feeling rather satisfied with the results from these battles, Gmable Man looked at the others. "Um, do you need any help, Mage Man? You, Print Man?" inquired Gamble Man. His words fell upon deaf audio sensors as Print Man and Mage Man were engaged in combat with the Pawns. "I guess they are handling themselves. They'll let me know if they need anything." thought Gamble Man. As he created 3 count bombs to use as platforms and jumped up to the where Insanity Man was sitting he asked "Care to spare any of that popcorn?"

To copy follow the footsteps of MegaBossMan on doing a Mario game, I will talk about my favorite, Super Mario World! Where to even begin? The graphics naturally look better with the transition from NES to SNES, and they use these upgrades well to make some colorful and nice looking levels. The music is very good and iconic, but not something I would go out of my way to listen to. It has a nice length, with 7 main map segments, a secret world, another secret world hidden within the secret world, and secret exits with shortcuts thrown through out it. As for game-play, this game has the best control in my opinion. You aren't to heavy, not to floaty, not to slippery, not to stiff, its great. The level design is very good with secrets hidden everywhere, and several things including Yoshi Coins, 1-Up Minigames, and secret exits give you incentive to explore. There have been several gameplay mechanic changes, but the two most famous are Yoshi and the Cape Feather. Yoshi gives you a second jump, the ability to swallow enemies, step on some things that would normally hurt you, and special powerups depending on what shells you eat. The other large change would be the Cape Feather, which is my favorite powerup which lets you fly. There are two was to fly, you can slow your descent, and you can do a twirl attack with it. The Fire Flower and Invincibility Star come back as well. Oh, did I mention there is multiplayer? This game is all around amazing with my only complaints being that the
P-Balloon seems a little unnecessary and some of the Special World (the second secret world) levels can be annoying, to say the least (specifically Tubular and Awesome). All around, I'd say the game gets:

Over All: 9.2 out of 10. If ever given the opportunity, play this game!

Realizing that the 3 allies of his were being attacked but not himself, Gamble Man summoned a count-bomb onto the Pawn in the fountain. Unfortunately, the bomb missed an veered off several feet to the side. Catching the pawn's attention, it sent a quick burst of water towards the card shield, pushing it back and causing it to collide with Gamble Man.

[OOC: Sorry about that Chaos, got a little carried away.]

"3.716 seconds. This is how long it will take for the thrown pawn to make impact with me" Gamble Man calculated. Already using 0.893 seconds to get that time, he knew he could not set up a bomb in 2.823 seconds, so he was unsure on what he had to do. An idea popped up quickly, though. He was still prototyping the knew ability, and would never normally use something he was unsure about. Unfortunately, this was a not normal situation, so he announced with uncertainty in his voice "Card Shield!" It would take the pawn 0.634 seconds to crash into the large Queen of Hearts that hid Gamble Man. "The thrown pawn will not be knocked out, but only dazed for 15-20 seconds, so I have time to focus on the 2nd pawn." thought Gamble Man. What is it planning next?

As the Pawm is reversed and dashes towards Insanity Man, Gamble Man summons countdown bombs on the Pawn, trapping him as the timers countdown. 3. 2. 1. At the last second the Pawn managed to shove one of the timed bombs out of the way and manages to run for a few feet, only to get launched from the explosion and impact a wall with loud thump. Gamble Man studies his company quizzically. An author with a trench coat, a magician attired in the stereotypical robe and staff, and a purple robot carrying an armadillo like shell with surprising ease. He supposed an introduction now would be the best time.

"I am DJN 002, but you can call me Gamble Man. I will address the elephant in the room. Err, courtyard. I came here expecting to only rely on a myself, as I presume you all did. I do not want petty arguments to get in the way of collaborations on challenges. Do not think for even one millisecond that I will not shift gears from being your greatest ally to your worst enemy. We have a Print Man, a Magician Man, was it, and yours truly. Who exactly are you, shell carrying robot?"

He hoped his intimidation worked, as it appeared the three robots who stood before him were equipped with strong weapons and ready for battle. This was not Gamble Man's strong suit, and he still did not know what challenges would occur behind these castle walls.

@Mikey76500 : Maybe I am just bad at rpgs, but when I started playing this game, it was INFURIATING. I am one of those people, that tries to do as many different orders on Mega Man games, so I used that knowledge here. I wasn't sure who I would go to first, but I knew it wouldn't be Cut Man. I think I tried Fire Man first, and was obliterated. Then Guts Man, then Ice Man, then Oil Man and lost to all. I eventually won against Bomb Man due to luck on him missing several Hyper Bomb, and then I see I unlock him. Great. Now I can use that to fight Guts Man, and then I don't unlock him. Wait, what? Why not? What's wrong? Was I to slow? Do I have to take out his minions first? I eventually retried all of these methods, and keep in mind his level is slowly increasing. I finally swallow my pride and look up how to unlock robot masters, and I need to destroy him with only neutral moves. What?!? Why does the game punish me for using weaknesses! What if the minion switches with the boss and I accidentally hit him? What are the points in weaknesses? HOW DO YOU USE MEGA MAN'S COPY ABILITY?!?(passes out).

Long story short, narrowly beat Bomb Man by luck, complain on how to unlock robot masters, still think this is a great game with an amazing community, not beginner friendly imo.

"If the information I have received is correct, then the odds of me doing well are 307 to 11. This should be over faster than a game of Blackjack when I'm dealing."

Entering the competition we have... Gamble Man! We are not sure who his creator is, but it is rumored it was the same person who submitted
Flame Man to the 1st Annual Robot Tournament.Gamble Man was originally made for calculating statistics, but it is no secret that he spends time in the nearest casino, enjoying using his calculations to beat the system. What he does with all that zenny is not known. What is known is that his creator modified him so he could compete in these events. Gamble Man is fickle in his decision making, but when he has made one, he pursues it. He can get hard to get close to, but once you do, it is hard not to like him. Gamble Man has a bit of a dark sense of humor and can be cocky.

Good Point: Calculating
Bad Point: Fickle
Likes: Cutting the deck
Dislikes: Luck based decisions
Abilities: He can make decisions quickly, calculate odds, and can move swiftly.
Weaknesses: He does not account for luck, and he is not very creative.
Weaponry: He is equipped with a Mega Buster and can execute attacks based off of numbers and gambling.
Type: Shadow
Design: An orange robot with a short but sturdy stature, similar to the likes of Heat Man and Dust Man. He has black stripes on him, and a few red decorations. His right hand is a buster, while his left is... well, a hand.

It's understandable for Adrian to go on a break. You get sick of your favorite game/book/tv show/hobby in general and it is only because he has worked so hard on this game that it has gotten to where it is. We get burnt out, we get bored, we get agitated with doing something for too long, and that is normal. If you do the Article on Mega Man Network, good luck!

I vote for Dr. Cossack. Let's say you have Fire Man fighting Blizzard Man. You know one hit of your Fire Storm will defeat Blizzard Man, but you are also heavily damaged and weak to him, so any hit will defeat you. Naturally, you are slower than Blizzard Man. If you have increased defense, he still has super effective attacks and can defeat you in one hit. If you have increased attack, he still out speeds you and defeats you. If you have increased speed, you could defeat Blizzard Man before he beats you.

Long story short, Dr. Cossack.

Hello Mega Man RPG Prototype Community, I am tobyjoey, and I am only now introducing myself (I have had an account since April this year), so sorry for taking so long. I live in Pennsylvania, North America and I am 15. My main passion are video games (of course), but I also enjoy swimming and reading. I mainly play Platformers, RPGs, and the occasional Adventure game. My main two video game passions are Pokemon and Mega Man, making this website and game a great match! I hope I can fit into the community and keep enjoying this great game.
