| During another of Dr. Wily's plots for world domination, Wily created a new series of robots known as the Dark Man series. After venturing further inside “Proto Man's" castle, Mega Man was confronted with one of these robots: Dark Man 2. He is similar in size and stature to his brethren, but is colored in a dark grey and lacks a traditional buster capable of the usual offensive capabilities, unlike the other Dark Men. Rather than shooting the opponent down, Dark Man 2 commands two electrical shields to do his bidding. These barriers revolve around Dark Man 2 as he moves, but he only seems to use them when walking back and forth. Perhaps jumping disables the magnetic bond, disabling his only specialized attack? While the shields have their advantages, they have a weakness in the form of two margins during the barrier cycle that one could shoot through to get past his defenses. However, important to note is that Dark Man 2 does notably have a sturdier exterior armor than the rest of his brethren, so even capitalizing on his barrier's weaknesses doesn't mean you'll have an granted victory. |
