| Even further into the reaches of “Proto Man's" castle, Mega Man came toe to metallic toe with Dark Man 3. This new opponent already provides a new form of difficulty compared to his two previous brothers: this one can both jump and shoot! Dark Man 3 is colored a deep shade of purple and equipped with a large arm cannon, but he still uses a glass cranium and a visor, like Dark Men 1 and 2. Dark Man 3 leaps high in the air and rains volleys of five shots down on enemies. That bulky buster he holds can also shoot three small projectiles that can disrupt an opponent’s energy, freezing them where they stand, slide, or … jump? Going along with his astounding jumping height is how much ground he's able to cover quickly, even despite the fact that his somewhat stocky appearance might otherwise suggest. However, his speed does show weaknesses, as sometimes he'll jerk a small distance forwards and stop immediately after. Either way, try not to get frozen, or Dark Man 3 might be able to get some target practice on you. |
