The name says it all: if you have an idea for an alternate costume (see the preview upcoming Winter Update for more information), post it here. Most of these probably won't make it in, but we can give it the old college try anyways. Go wild!
Alternate Costumes Suggestion Thread Posted by Spinstrike on October 3rd, 2014 at 8:40pm Viewed 36118 Times
Hurray for posting on your own threads! Anyhow, here are my ideas...
-Pharaoh Man: A Ruby-Spears cartoon themed palate. Sweet cape and uppercuts not included. -Ice Man: A dark blue palate. Another, albeit subtle, Ruby-Spears reference. -Hard Man: A red, white, and blue palate. A nice Rocky 4 reference, in response to this. -(Solid) Snake Man: A palate based off any of Metal Gear's Snakes (maybe one of Naked Snake's camo patterns from Snake Eater?) Why? Because puns, that's why. -Heat Man: A silver palate, similar to a Zippo lighter. Might snag us a lawsuit, but we should be fine as long as we don't drop any names.
A blue, green, and black palate for Crash Man, with black replacing the original white, green replacings the orignal red, and blue replacing the original yellow, with the gem becoming red.

Welp.... I decided that I'll make a few of your suggested alts for funsies(I'm not saying I'll send it to Adrian or nothing, just to recolor for you guys to see what it would look like.) so suggest all you want. I might do Retro's Spark Man next or some of Spinstrike's suggestions, if you guys would specify your vision(Like Coolcat). Anyway, here's Coolcat's suggestion!
So, I'd like to describe it a little. I basically did all he asked, but I made a eye-color change because I thought it simply looked better. Also, I couldn't make the whites complete blacks because of the hands....The outlines are black as well, and it'd be hard to tell. I made it more of a pine-black, as I thought it fit the green he already had. Enjoy your eco-friendly Crash Man!
BTW: I put the original taunt next to him for you guys to compare the color. Also, this might surprise you a little unless you don't sprite, but I made that recolor in about 7 minutes. Feel free to suggest, I'd be glad to do it if you specify!
EDIT: Ah dang, I forgot his right arm to color to black and I didn't save the green Crash sprite.....Oops.

@MetaWereSter : Perhaps I should specify a bit.....I can only do suggestions that have recolors. I don't want to spend too much time on this by adding extra things, only recolors. I could try a "demon-y" Bass, but I don't know for sure.
EDIT: Well, with this Bass, I decided to use a Halloween theme. I like the Eco-Crash Man better, but this Halloween Bass isn't so bad.

Well, I might as well make this a Ruby-licious post! Now, I'm not a big fan of the glasses, so I made a version WITHOUT glasses. Decide what you like better, I prefer the next.

@Scarwy tobyjoey : I think I'm the only one doing this here, so I'll believe I'm the only one who can answer...For humanity.
Well, I use Paint.NET. I know some folks who just use Microsoft Paint, but to be honest, it lacks some things. Adrian uses Photoshop, but I know you have to pay for that....So yeah. I hear GIMP's pretty good, but my computer won't download that. I just use Paint.NET, like I said. Use the pencil tool and the grid option if you want to make sprites.
Here's Heat Man! Not gonna lie, using a Zippo lighter as inspiration really gives me a small option of colors....Not my favorite, but overall good, but bland.
I claim nothing on this post except the Heat Man recolor I made.
@MegaBonesMan : I use Paint.NET, too. GIMP ended up being a pain for me to install and I didn't really know how to use it, so I ended up using Paint.NET. I could help make some alternate skins because it seems pretty simple and straightforward, but for now I'll leave that to you because...well, I'm busy with schtuff.

I really wish I could just put this all in one place....
That was Retro Gengar's request. Nothing too bad here, I feel like I did good.
Well, here's something new! A Hard Man, like one you'd see be in Rocky 4. "I must break you...Hard!"
And for fun, a Sniper Joe. While not technically an Alt, I decided to do him anyway. I might do other alt joes later.
And I think that's it for me. If anyone has an ideas, suggest, but I'll let this thread go do what it was supposed to do before I intruded. I know I double-posted, please forgive me.
