Hello everyone! I'd like to start a new tradition here on the prototype and it has to do with the newly introduced Field and Fusion Stars that appear post-game.
I would like to request that, whenever possible, you take screenshots of the "Victory" screen whenever you find a new field star in battle and post it here in this thread! You don't have to if you don't want to, do not have the equipment, or are otherwise unable to... but I think it could be a lot of fun for the people who do!
Not only will this show off some of our favourite team combinations, but it might introduce people to new Field or Fusion Stars they didn't know existed (especially Fusion Stars, you wouldn't believe how many there are to find in the game!). Once the thread has been around for a while, we'll have a visual catalogue of everyone's adventures and I think it would be incredibly cool to look back at a year from now. :)
So who's with me? Just take a screenshot of your game window when you're on the "Mission Complete" screen and then post it below. I look forward to everyone's posts over the long run and I'll post my first one up soon. ^_^

Well, at the moment there are 24 Field Stars (8 for each Dr.) and 12 Fusion Stars (4 for each Dr.)... by default. If you go into the Player Editor and click on any of the 8 field slots, you'll see that a new mechanic has been unlocked and you can now customize which fields appear in which campaigns and where! ^_^
So while there will only ever by 24 Field Stars (until I add more stages), the combinations of different fields and therefore different Fusion Stars is almost endless. There's actually a way - mathematically - to calculate how many combinations / Fusion Stars are possible, but I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise here in the thread. ;)
To make sure it's absolutely clear though, every theoretical combination of two stages has it's own unique Fusion Star. Rainy Sewers and Space Simulator for example, could produce either a Rainy Simulator Star or a Space Sewers Star depending on how you choose to mix it up. And it doesn't stop there, stages are shared among all campaigns so you could combine any other stage with either of those two up there for even more Rainy and/or Space type stages. You can imagine how many possibilities there are if you put the time into looking. :P

Let me see... There are 24 fields. Each field can mix with any other. Only mixes created by 2 fields counts. 2 identical fields don't mix. Oh, and mixing in different order will give you different results. Therefore, there are 23 mixes for each field. So, 23x24+24=576 stars, right? Why do I think this will utterly destroy any Neutral/Copy moves/robots in game?

Alright, here's my 55th star obtained along with the +100% Elec/Cutter and the impressive +220% Fire. If Adrian had powerful fire RM in his arsenal, perhaps I would be suspicious...
Wow, that's awesome! I can't believe how many stars you've already found! Like, holy ****! :o Haha, you guys have no idea how giddy it makes me seeing all these star counts go up - very surreal. ^_^ Thank you all so much!
Btw, Searinox, could you wrap your image URLs in the appropriate tags when you post them? That way they show up on the page and people don't have to copy/paste the URL to see them. Just use the form [Image Title] (http://domain.com/image.jpg) but without the space in between. I've edited your last two posts to show you how it's done, but let me know if you have any other questions. :)

Dang! I have around 60 stars currently but the thing keeps on freezing! Hope this bug gets fixed sometime soon. Man, Searinox your progress is very ''shocking'', get it! Ah, no one ever gets it!

WOW! That's crazy! I can't believe you've found that many already! 0_o
But yes, +940% is incredibly overpowered.... though I think that's okay. The Star Force is introduced as a post-game mechanic because of how powerful it is and how much fun it (I think) to absolutely obliterate enemies that were once challenging or annoying. One might say it makes the game too easy, but does that really matter when you've already completed the entire campaign? I think not. I do have the fix the graphics though - your 940% electricity bar doesn't fit inside its container anymore. >_>
EDIT: YES! I got another Field Star! Now I'm totally gonna catch up to you guys![/sarcasm] Or not. :P

@MegabossMan: A low-voltage robot like you could never defeat me! But yes, freezes are very annoying.
Oh, and 200 stars collected. EDIT: Well, here goes the +470% for Missiles! EDIT2: Three hundred stars? In my account? It's more likely than you think. EDIT3(O_o): ...Alright, now it's 352 stars and maxed out Time/Freeze. There are so many stars now they are overlapping each other!
@MegabossMan : You'll need to take a screenshot with your computer first - there are many ways to do so and it depends on your current setup. If you're on Windows search "windows take screenshot" and if you're on Mac do "Mac take screenshot". After that you upload it to an image hosting service like Photobucket and then link it with the appropriate formatting code.
