Did you ever wonder what would it be like if Bass was the main character? Or if past robot masters teamed up with each other? Well, this is a place where you can have fun making up stories/fan games. Unfortunately, you obviously can't MAKE one here, but if you have experience in making them and are interested in using these as a body for them, go ahead and do it.

Alright, time for a proper revival of this thread by doing something different, once more. Now, for this game, I want you to imagine, the gameplay of MegaMan legends, mixed with Wario Land wackiness, the eight robot masters plus one extra formula from Mega Man V GB, and Mega Man Zero 3's pause menu, along with horror monsters and nano technology somehow in the late eighteenth century with some dark humor and storytelling... you get
Mega Man Franken

~The Prelude of Atrocities~
Starting with the intro cutscene, somewhere, in 18XV, a funeral is held for 6-year-old Boaz Light, who died of overdosing on some medicine his father made for one of his patients, said father, is Tompson Light, then felt like he's much too responsible for being so careless and tries to get himself hanged, until he's stopped by some men of the church, who gave him some news, his daughter, Roll, is has fully recovered after an offscreen accident two years back that got them to drop on their head, thus becoming dim, for a lack of better words. Light, upon realizing he could prevent the same incident happening with Roll, decides to stop being a man of medicine and raise Roll as best he can, essentially becoming a really good father as the years went by.
Back at the funeral, Boaz's coffin then gets lowered in, and everyone attending leaves, except for one man. This man is Doctor Aldabert Wily, a father to a local church templar, who was notorious for breaking up his partnership with Light after some unknown argument. And since this guy's this world's answer to Wily, along with the title of this concept, you can probably tell what happens next. He pry's open the casket, takes the corpse, and runs off with it while closing the coffin, trying to be as inconspicuous he can be holding a child's dead body. After that, the screen turns black, and the time has moved forward to 18XW according to a handmade clock of indeterminate origin, a year before the game properly begins, as we see Wily's personal laboratory with eight empty coffins, with a steel one that has a cast mold inside being in focus of the shot as a big mass of an unknown liquid-like, scaley metal is poured in along with a brain. Wily then closes the cast hole, with a plug/timer combination, with the timer waiting for July 12th, 18XX, which Wily smiles in complete maliciousness looking at nine shadows with glowing red eyes. And then... a loud knock is heard from above a set of stairs.
Man of the church: Aldabert Wily! Open up! We know what you're doing, you old goat! Get out there or we'll force our way in!
Doctor Wily: Oh? Seems like we have uninvited guests... or in your respective cases, prey. Now then, be rid of them!
Then the door opens, and an angry mob gets in, flooding the room! All is loud through anger as a shot of outside Wily's home is shown, until it suddenly quiets down followed by a moment of silence, and then frightened screaming and noises of violence, along with people running out of the house with the sound of Wily laughing as eight of those shadows break out of the building, scattering everywhere they can as the ninth one carries Wily off somewhere unknown, forgetting about the coffin containing the brain.

FRANKEN POST PART TWO
A year goes by as it turns May 6th 18XX as a lone knight watches over it intently, waiting for the moment it opens in July, only for the coffin to start cracking, as it starts trying to break out prematurely, with the man grabbing a claymore with a green hilt getting ready for what's inside... but in reality, he wasn't ready; as for what formed inside, was our title character, a 7'1, blue-green, no unibrow or green skinned Mega Man facsimile with some muscle on his patchwork-like unfinished body at long last breaks out of the coffin, doing some sort of guttural roar, blowing the knight away to a nearby wall. Franken then looks around like a confused child lost somewhere at a friend's house around at a room he's unfamiliar with, where the game begins proper.
Gameplay (Finally)
The gameplay is as I described it above in the opening line on the first post, it's essentially a ledgends platformer with the playable character being Mega Man Franken, an android rebirth of Boaz, the answer to Rock for the game, trying to stop the man who brought him back to life, using his giant hand buster to blast at foes, and his unique body component, known as Nanometal, which said foes are made of. The stages are accessible through the hub world Legends style yes, but some of them require something to enter said level. But for the bosses on certain level, some of them won't have weapons... they'll have unique abilities for exploration like Samus Aran.
Enter the Bosses and their stages
Gel Macruel - A slime man made of pure nanometal who resides in Walkers Forest, stalking Roll as per. his role as the first boss. Ability Gained: Gel Slide - Allows Franken to slide under spaces he couldn't in the first place, along with climbing walls by manipulating his Nanometal to a shapeless state temporarily. Also harms whatever it touches, whether it be enemies or hidden breakable.
Flaming Kyonshi - A Jiangshi located at Eastern Heights, this flaming hopper uses cunning and wit to deceive her opponents with surprising control over the flames. Weapon Gained: Flame Jump - Acts like a double or high jump that damages enemies. Causes fires to go off as well...
Terra Golemrage - An easily enraged golem with immense strength that lies in wait at the Slayer Ruins for a real challenge Weapon gained: Terraformation - The user lifts or drops a giant block of stone that, if it doesn't hit an enemy, goes back onto the ground to maybe be used as a platform, or be lifted up again to be a weapon.
Wolfgang Gorgeous - This speedy, self centered werewolf impedes on Franken's progress towards Wily Hideout #1, the halfway point of the game. Ability Gained: Lupine Speeds Permanent speed up, along with anti-slipping.

Description: 1998 in 20XX… the hardest Mega Man game was created called: “Mega Man and Bass”. The game was so terrible everybody hated it because you had to play as Bass in order to actually play the game. Although the real reason people were mad was because of this guy: ground-man Ground Man… this is totally true. Anyways Drill Man saw this dude and wanted to destroy him for literally being a clone of him, but now he looks stinky. Franken part 3... I'm sick and tired of yell-
Bosses part 2
Crystaline Antlion - An insectoid capable of causing subterranean mayhem through creating crystal spike from below. Though he might be easier to dig out if Terraformation is still available... Weapon Gained: Shining spike - Franken stomps on the ground, causing a crystal spike to appear in front of him. Can be lifted with another stomp, essentially chucking it General Tao style, eliminating airborne threats.
Chupacaboros - A Chupacabra with an odd connection to the stars located in a maze-like environment, using their unique powers of said stars to mess with their foes head. Ability Gained: Space-eyes - Gives Franken a unique pair of goggles that allow him to view things he couldn't see, like treasures, hidden enemies, or even what enemies drop!
Typhoon Mothish - A mothman capable of manipulating the winds with his wings to create natural disasters and even other wind based damages like typhoons and infernos if he's exposed to certain elements, while hiding in the clouds above. Weapon Gained: Catastrophe Wind - A unique wind based attack that can be augmented by certain elements. Also works like Storm/Marine Tornado.
Pharaoh All-mighty - An unknown being wrapped in bandages in an artificial pyramid capable of almost anything Franken can do, along with being capable of mimicking his physical form, almost like the ultimate enemy. Ability Gained: Shapeshift - When used, Franken manipulates his nanometal causing him to turn into a sort of human disguise, allowing him to go to inhabited areas, like towns, and not get chased out like a monster.
Now with the main eight bosses, we go to the other characters, aaaaand the town areas.
Towns and friends... and the templar.
In the first town after the fight with Macruel, Light, who was ready trying to look for Roll, then spots her dragging an unconscious Franken/Boaz that Light doesn't immediately recognize due to Franken's current... condition.
Roll - An endearing child that, though received brain damage at when she was slightly younger, she does have her moments of smart. Has the blessing and curse of not telling what is and isn't scary.
Doctor Light - A former medical man currently studying Wily's nanometal to the best of his abilities. Franken/Boaz and Roll's father in blood too. Very patient too.
If and when Franken's wandering around the hub world, there's a certain templar I mentioned earlier hunting him down like a savage beast... that man:
Cero Weile - The local templar mentioned earlier, this determined hunter tries to hunt Franken ever since he first got revealed to his former hometown in his current condition, thinking he's one of his father's "unholy beasts" and that Roll and Light were conspiring with him. Note that when exploring, if Cero spot Franken, he won't stop. Even if it's in a forest, a spike field, in the mountains, or even Chupacaboros' maze, he will break anything in his way to try and slay Franken. There's nothing, almost nothing that can stop this man, too enraged to die, or be stopped.

Story: After the events of Super Adventure Rockman, Quick Man and Gemini Man help Mega Man actually defeat Ra Moon, because he's still alive, and he's brainwashed Wily.

Quick Man quick-man Quick Man can run fast, but he has low defense.
Gemini Man gemini-man Gemini Man has high defence, but he has low attack due to the fact he has to rely on his clones.

I've had this idea, and I am working on a level set right now. But I'm postponing it until Mega Man Maker 1.8 releases.

Name: Mega Man: INCARNATED
Players: mega-man Mega Man, proto-man Proto Man
DLC: bass Episode Bass (Play as Bass in a Prequel Story)

Description: Mega Man has defeated Dr. Wily several times, even in the most tense situations. Dr. Wily has tried many ideas but nothing seems to be working. And that's when it hit him... instead of creating new robots or taking them to go along with his plan, he could reprogram past robots that are the strongest challengers ever created, and make them even stronger! Dr. Wily then heads over to several areas, known to be the homes of each one. He successfully captures all of them and some others to create even more powerful machines if all else fails. It seems as Mega Man may be facing his greatest challenges yet, again. Which would mean he would have to reequip his ultimate Mega Arm. But luckily he won't be alone again, as Proto Man appears to sort of be a survivor and now he's equipped with a better Proto Strike system. It's up to Mega Man and/or Proto Man to save their allies and foes to stop them from taking over the world!

Proto Man on the other hand, sets off to retire, as in to leave and never return. Mega Man, worried, tried to reason with him, but there were more important things to deal with. And so, Mega Man now lives peacefully for the rest of his life... right...?

Part 3 will involve Episode Bass...

Part 3 - Episode Bass

DLC Description: As Dr. Wily is going along with his plan, Bass sees from afar, and knows he'll be next. Bass, enraged, went to go stop Wily's new plan from being finished, and to prove once again, he was his strongest robot. Luckily, he's got a new trick up his sleeve thanks to an upgrade he got earlier...

Name: Mega Man: Excelling Conquest
Players: mega-man Mega Man, proto-man Proto Man, bass Bass

Story: Mega City had lived peacefully for several months with no sign of Dr. Wily. However, out of nowhere, 8 robot masters start attacking the city! These robots have been searching for corrupted energy elements, which contain a dark and sinister energy emitting from it. Mega Man goes out to investigate, while Proto Man stands in the distance. Bass follows Mega Man behind.

Intro Stage Boss: X Tremor

Intro Stage Story: After beating the X Tremor, Proto Man delivers the final blow before it got back up. Eventually Duo appears, claiming that he has returned to neutralize the corrupted energy elements, as they contain evil energy. It seems Dr. Wily is at it again! Mega Man sets off to stop Dr. Wily, while Duo zooms away to neutralize other energy elements. Bass catches up and Proto Man explains what happened. Bass teleports and Proto Man follows.

Beating Wily: It turns out, none of this is Wily's fault! Proto Man (or Mega Man) comes in, but then, the Real Mr. X appears! He was behind this the whole time for real! Mega Man, Proto Man, and Bass go to stop Mr. X at his new tower!

Stage 1 Boss: Zenny Pincher
Weakness: Homing Gatling

Stage 2 Boss: Titanium Golem
Weakness: Anchor Wire

Stage 3 Boss: Royal Champion (no not the one from Clash of Clans)

Beating X: After beating Mr. X, our hero is captured by a trap! All the corrupted energy elements fall, and the ground starts to rumble. Out of nowhere, the Evil Robot, Trio, is resurrected. Trio escapes, and Duo arrives to late. (Mega Man uses the Super Adapter, Bass uses Treble Boost, and Proto Man uses his Shield to fly) Duo lends his Energy Fist to stop Trio as a last resort.

Final Boss: Trio
Weakness: None

Ending: Trio is undefeated, but Duo comes in to save the day. The corrupted energy elements' evil energy was only extracted, and the elements could still be used. Duo absorbs the elements and sacrifices himself to defeat Trio once and for all. Mega Man/Proto Man/Bass are left to contemplate Duo's death. Mr. X is nowhere to be found.
