So someone posted something non-related to Megaman or the Prototype. Hum. Anyhow, this isn't a "roleplay" compared to everything else on the topic (I was even considering placing this on the General forum!), this is going to be utilizing Pokemon Showdown, a battle simulator for those who don't bother breeding and EV training. As the title implies, this'll be pokemon battle tournament, with each round having special rules. I'll only be allowing 8 players on the tourney, so hurry!
How to "register" for the tournament:
1. Go to play.pokemonshowdown.com and click "Choose Name." Use your Prototype Username please! (Or something similar). 2. Go to the gear icon, click it, and press "Register." Fill in the form. 3. Head back here and comment that you'd like to join! 4. Send me, via PM code, your team code. On page 2, there should be an example of what I mean. 5. Wait.
Now then, here are some ground rules:
1. I will be showing up dates and times for the next battles. If you can't attend, let me know ASAP and I'll do my best to readjust the date. If you don't attend without letting me know, you're disqualified. 2. Don't complain if you lose. I'll be doing this a lot.

I would like to join, but would this thread maybe be better in the general thread? Both the RP and General are chocked full of threads, but maybe general is more fitting? Anyway, I give you fair warning: I suck and am a complete embarrassment good at competitive battling.
I've been leaning towards a Round Robin Tournament, but I'll need your Pokemon team for reference on some of the matches. Send me the "code" of your pokemon team via PM.
In case you are wondering what I mean...
If you don't send me the code of your team, You'll automatically be disqualified, so this is kinda sorta important.
@Retro Pikachu : I can't believe I'm saying this, but, I'm actually considering going for this.
I gotta know some things though:
1. What happens in the rare event of a draw? 2. If this becomes a Round Robin, What happens if there's a tie for first place? 3. Are Legendaries allowed [Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Mew, Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Ho-Oh, Lugia, Celebi, Regirock, Regice, Registeel, Latios, Latias, Deoxys, Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Uxie, Mesprit, Azelf, Dialga, Palkia, Heatran, Regigigas, Giratina, Cresselia, Shaymin, Phione, Manaphy, Darkrai and Arceus are what I consider Legendaries from the 1st 4 Gens]? 4. Are all our pkmn supposed to be Lv. 100 [I know that official world tournaments have caps of Lv. 50]? and 5. Is anyone allowed to digivolve their pkmn?
Get back to me when you can; this'll help me decide whether I want to enter.
1. Actually, draws are now impossible. Pokemon now has a rule that in case of a draw, the person who committed suicide loses the match. 2. There's a simple 6 on 6 match to determine who wins the Round Robin 3. Yes and No. Some legendaries are too powerful for regular play and are called "Uber" Pokemon. Here's the full ban-list on "Uber": Legends: Arceus (All Types), Darkrai, Deoxys (All Forms), Dialga, Gensect (All Drives), Giratina (Both Forms), Groudon, Ho-oh, Kyogre, White-Kyurem, Lugia, Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Reshiram, Shaymin (Sky Form only), Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zekrom. Non-Legends: Aegislash, Blaziken, and Greninja Megas: Mega Gengar, Mega Lucario, Mega Mawile, Mega Mewtwo X, Mega Mewtwo Y, and Mega Rayquaza Ask Smogon why these pokemon are Uber, not me 4. All Pokemon are, by default, Level 100. However, you can, for whatever reason, make them any level from 1-100. 5. No
