As some people who are regulars of the MMRPG Chat may know, I'm in the process of making the first chapter of an RP*G* for the roleplay section. The running name for it is "Mega Man: Prototype Armageddon". It's basically an AU [alternate universe] story separate from Adrian's Prototype. Different storyline, different enemies, different friends, different moves, different battle formula, different surprises, and more.
I, for one, am sick of the excessive godmodding that goes on in the RP section, and I wanna post something there that will fix that; specifically, an RPG with clearly defined rules and boundaries, making it easier to spot trollers and godmodders, and therefore easier for staffers to put a halt to it. Hence, Armageddon.
I'm planning on having the first chapter done by the end of September at the very latest, and then, I'll test it with a few pre-chosen members to see if it works, and if it does, I'll publicize it for the RPG section to play.
As far ahead as I tried to plan for this, I didn't plan for the need of a spriter, due to the fact that this RPG will have characters of my own creation.
So, basically, I'm posting this 'help wanted' thread because I'm in need of someone [or someones] that can make high-quality single sprites [Not spriteSHEETS, single sprites]. By 'high-quality', I mean either custom-made from the ground up, or--at the very least--frankenedits that don't look like obvious frankenedits at a glance.
I'd REALLY like to avoid employing the help of anyone that either IS working with Adrian and Boss on the REAL Prototype or is PLANNING to work with Adrian and Boss on the REAL Prototype, since it would be EXTREMELY unfair to both them and to Prototype fans to take any resources away from it, though if I ever get Adrian's direct blessing for the person to sprite for Armageddon as well, all will be good.
I can also promise that sprites of the chosen spriter's creation will make it into Armageddon as optional bosses. I'll also promise that the chosen spriter will be one of the lucky few to test Chapters 0 and 1 of Armageddon before I make it public.
If you'd like to apply to be the spriter for Armageddon, please post some of your better works in this thread so that I may take a look.
There's no deadline, but, most likely, the sooner you post, the better your chances of being accepted.
Thanks in advance, Mike.

@Tobyjoey : Of course not. Go nuts. Just make sure that the guidelines set in the opening post are followed.
@MegaBoyX7 : Should've saw that coming [ xD ]. Remember the part where I said it couldn't be an OBVIOUS frankenedit at a glance? Do you have any works that DON'T look like they come straight off of Mega Man?

Hm, better works you say? Darn, I'm not on my Laptop, and that's where I save my sprites, so the best one I posted here is Loid, from Earthbound Beginnings

@Tobyjoey : HAH. Lily pad on his head. Hehe. Swamp isn't shabby at all, actually. You have any more like this [I did say sample*s*]?
@MusicalKitty : As I've never played any game from the Mother series, I wouldn't be able to [accurately] judge how good this looks. Now, 8-bit MM-style sprites on the other hand..... :P

@ThatGuyNamedMikey : Well, I do have some more, but it will take a little time, maybe a day or 3. Also, should these be more classic styled, or maybe a little shaded?
