...And are you sure this will work?
It HAS to. I just see no other way around it. There's no other possible way to confront him... No available universe has the flexibility needed to be able to confront him directly.
And how do you know he will come?
...He is an investor of Chaos and Destruction. He will come... It would be against his nature not to.
...I looked at where he kept it. The Anti-Omni Meme of which that devil manifested from. ...It's gone, Bt. And there's only one person in this entire Omniverse who also knows where it is... And would have the motives to take it.
...And Reaper is too gullible and naive to notice any of this. And even then, he would not agree to do any of what I am doing, even if it's for a greater cause. I HAVE to be the one to do it. There is no other way around it.
...But if the Trio of Origin... the Creators of the Internet's Multi-Omniverse find out about this...
...They can erase this universe for all I care. But not until we get rid of Beta Devil... For GOOD.
Greetings, one and all, and welcome to the Chaos Zone. This is an attempt to do what the Absurd Roleplay attempted to do: Create a safe environment for people to be OP so that, hopefully, it won't spread to other threads.

I'll let it be known now: This is NOT a continuation of the Absurd Roleplay itself, nor of its story/stories. If you participated in the Absurd Roleplay at some point and wish to bring back any characters or plotpoints that existed at the time, feel free. But do note that this is, more or less, its own continuity. Heck, if anything, it doesn't even need its own continuity. But, I'd be foolish to think it won't. In fact, I am counting on it.

Anyways. Some ground rules:

1. If you're going to do stats and damage, feel free to have them be as big as possible. Just don't make them extremely long.
2. Do not use other people's characters. Feel free to make as many characters as you would like, though.
3. If you want to destroy the world, that's fine. Want to destroy the galaxy? Great. The universe? Can always be pieced back together. But do NOT. Under ANY circumstances. Destroy ANY universe that is not involved with this thread. You are also equally banned from destroying the entire Omniverse, or any Omniverse beyond. There are... certain people. I want to avoid the attention of. So let's refrain from stretching out the destruction to beyond this thread, ok?

...I think that about covers it. You all enjoy yourselves.

Hiyaa, nearly getting hit, manages to block off each elbow with well-placed Shines at the active frame of each one. Hiyaa then decides to level the playing field by producing several after images to compensate for his speed.
Shine (Defense/Shield)- A Hiyaa and Horaggh-exclusive move. The user generates a lagless insta-summon barrier which not only generates invincibility in it's first frame, but reflects any and all incoming projectiles.

???

Sanae and Suwako are sitting at the edge of Libra's "safe space", with Orange also sitting separately from them.
Y'know, there's something funny about all this.
I used to have a lot of trouble adjusting to Gensokyo because I was so used to the Outside World...
...but just as I'm getting used to Gensokyo, it's the Outside World that changes so radically.
I suppose in hindsight we should've gotten the hint when people just started wandering past the Great Hakurei Barrier like it was nothing...

The 2/3 of the Moriya Shrine notice strange rainbow glows from various locations across the Dimension!
Whoah!
Lady Suwako, do you think that's what I think it is?
It's that thing where people need to find seven special artifacts to save the world!!!
And if we can see them, who knows what else might want them?!
Well, Libra said we could leave if we wanted to stay somewhere besides here, so I don't see why not.

Sanae and Suwako use a pod to exit the emergency area and track down the rainbow objects...or rather, Rainbow Drops.
Stupid evil Cody man...
I was going to do something cool for once! Actually be a 90s Stage 1 boss who got to matter, like that Rika girl!
Now my home's gone and I've got nothing to do...

Suddenly, Orange sees two ring-shaped flashes over Earth!!
Huh?

Orange can see a purple figure from one of the flashes...
Hey, I could probably take that guy on like I took on the elephant and the glue person!
It's my chance to do something again, again!!!

Orange also exits the emergency area, flying to Earth with the purple figure in her sights!!

Meanwhile, with Sonic and Tails...

Alright, Green Super Emerald obtained! How are things on your end, Tails?
Well, no signs of the emerald just yet, but I did find something super cool!
Really? Lemme come over there so I can take a look...
...Mere moments later...

...Alright, I'm here. What's this "super cool" thing you wanted to show me?
It's this strange robot I found under this rubble... My scans indicated that this robot was super advanced... And super powerful, too!
My scans have also picked up a name, and even a serial number, similar to Robot Masters... SRN-00X, Sunstar.

Yep, sure enough, the two have come across the body of Sunstar... More specifically, the one of the present timeline.

Wow, that IS super cool! Any chance you can get them to work again?
...Unfortunately, I don't think even I can repair him... Not on my own, anyways. We'll need to find someone with connections with this robot... But since we don't know who this is, we don't exactly have any leads on-

*Ahem* If you two won't mind lending me that robot...
...I believe I know somebody who may be able to repair them. This robot could be an excellent asset in the fight ahead.

Wily Star Ruins

Metal Sonic returns to the group with the Cyan andPurple Super Emeralds in hand.
That should be all of them. Now we just need to regroup with the rest of-

Metal sees Epsilon talking to Sonic and Tails.
...well, while you're talking, let me just check with my team.

He turns on his communicator.
Crescendo, are you back where we said to regroup?

Yes. So quit pestering me.

Metal lets out...the equivalent to a sigh as he switches to Schmitt.
Schmitt, do you copy?! I don't care if you've only got five Chaos Rings at this point, if you're not there we can't use-

MS, calm down, I'm fine. I just ended up jumping through some portal by accident, but I got the last Chaos Ring, so it's all good.

...didn't you say you saw the Gold Chaos Ring before your transmission cut off?
Schmitt, what was in that portal?

A lot of weird things, actually; there were birds turning into fish and then back into birds, half-pipes in the sky, red balls and UFOs everywhere, some sort of purple wolf-jerboa guy...

...that's all I needed to know. Thank you. Make sure to meet back up with Crescendo.

As Metal hangs up, he clenches his hand on his head.
...son of a , not Fang...

...Well, if you insist, he's all yours. Who's the guy you're taking him to, anyways?
Well, a long time ago (at least I assume; This dimension's year is 2020, when most other dimensions in this particular Omniverse has the same anomalous year of 20XX), this guy was the leader of a powerful group of alien warriors known as the Stardroids... They used to be planetary conquerors, but then Mega Man came along and shown them true heroism, earning him their respect.
...I'm taking this robot directly to their second-in-command. They currently reside on DK Island, and considering who lives there, it's safe to assume Sunstar will be patched up in no time.

Epsilon takes the body of Sunstar and warps off to DK Island...

while Hiyaa himself leaps high into the air, even above the clouds, the afterimages immediately use their mobility to dodge the attacks and fire back with blasters. Duracell suddenly realizes that to the outside audience this is basically the equivalent of a stand battle.

He then Supercharges all cameras around the Duracell games, granting them Duracell level perception and making the battle traceable through the eyes of the viewers... however that works.

...Meanwhile, at a certain television network's HQ...

nitron-y ...Finally, it's about time we get to see them.
gemini-man Excuse me, Y, but what on Earth are you watching and why are you watching it instead of working?
nitron-y Sorry, sir, I've just been so caught up in these "Duracell Games" recently...
gemini-man Hm. Sorry, wrong answer. The correct answer was supposed to be "one of our amazing and spectacular programmings, like Gemini Tonight", not the programs of our company rivals. I'm afraid I'll have to dock your pay.
gemini-man And besides, what interest could there have possibly been to a show where nothing happened for basically a majority of the time?
nitron-y Actually, they have been moving at speeds faster than the average eye. I think they're using some kind of special technology to-
gemini-man Y. You're a great cameraman, excellent even. But when it comes down to combat, well, it's no wonder you could never even come close to defeating Mega Man. Nobody's that fast! Even Quick Man, who prides himself in his speed, moves fast enough for the average eye to catch.
nitron-y ...Right... Well, would it be selfish of me to ask not to cut down on my pay? I've already lost enough of today's pay just by watching this on Pay-per-View.
gemini-man Pay-for-whatnow!? You mean to tell me your spending company funds watching a rival newtwork's Pay-per-View Television!? Pay-per-View!? IN 20XX!?!?
nitron-y (Sir, it's 2020-)
gemini-man Ugh, of all the- ...Just how cheap can these guys get!? Who is even responsible for recording all this!? And who would even want to WATCH it, let alone PAY to watch it!?
nitron-y ...Uh, about 50 million people and counting, sir.
gemini-man 50 millio-

Gemini Man suddenly stops...

gemini-man ...Pardon?
nitron-y Well, yeah, I mean... It's likely due to the anticipation of whether or not the world's going to blow up or whatever. Though, the hashtag is really trending on Omni-Twitter...
gemini-man ...So, people enjoy watching this sort of combat, do they...?

An idea begins to form in Gemini Man's mind...

gemini-man ...Y, get back to work at once. And by get back to work, I mean study MORE on these "Duracell Games". Continue to watch it, straight to the end. I believe we may have found our next big hit.

The Speed Lord gets through the lasers and starts attacking one of the afterimages!

I'm not sure he's gonna be able to keep up with all those clones by himself.
Oh PLEASE, The Speed Lord's clearly faster.
He's ALSO got a low Attack stat compared to Hiyaa. Face it, The Speed Lord's eventually gonna need something extra to fight off those afterimages, whether you think so or not.
Why not just use the Mecha Summoning Program, since summons appear to be legal now?
Because I don't wanna risk a stress-test. Plus, not much of my Mechas are good for fighting off super-fast entities. Other than maybe Crazy Cannons, but they aren't exactly known for being able to take hits very well.
We're talking quantum FTL energy bullets*, dude.
 We're ALSO talking-...

Perfect, Unb-

Before he finishes his sentence, Metal Sonic turns to the Blue Blur and his friend.
...I realize that you haven't met yet. Sonic, Tails, this is Unbeatable Air. He's part of a makeshift team I formed to help gather other collectibles.
I had said teammates take on the jobs of finding the Time Stones and Chaos Rings for the same reasons I avoided the Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald altogether.
Even if I've well grown past the need for my Titan Metal Sonic form, it would have raised suspicion regardless.
And the Time Stones...well, given the circumstances of our first encounter, that would raise just as many red flags.
In any case, there are only two sets of collectibles on my list that we have yet to acquire in any amount: the Sol Emeralds, and the Rainbow Drops.

Angel Island - Launch Base Zone Remains

Sanae and Suwako are searching the remains of the abandoned Death Egg launch site...
These blocks certainly clash with the rest of the environment...
They look a lot newer than everything else, too...
...maybe there's a secret behind them!
I can put that to the test.

Suwako summons a Stone Frog God, which breaks through the blocks with ease, revealing a hidden passageway with the first Rainbow Drop!!
Wow!
Do you think we're going to find more of these things behind the same blocks?
Maybe not the same blocks...I'd imagine whatever placed these put different blocks behind each, all breakable by different types.
Well, let's keep looking!

Sanae and Suwako leave the floating island...
Fang wakes up in a grassy field...
Ugh...my head...
...where'd the robot go?

The sniper then notices a gemstone right next to him...the Green Sol Emerald.
...well hello there, darlin'...

As Fang picks up the Emerald, he hears rustling noises from a nearby bush...
(Crikey, not that karate guy again!!!)

Fang runs for the hills before the figure can come out and track him down...
Dang it, he got away!
*sigh* I'll get him next time...
But hey, at least I found this cool thing!

Orange holds up the Blue Sol Emerald.
COLLECTIBLES:
Time Stones: 7/7 (7 w/ Unbeatable Air)
Super Emeralds: 7/7 (7 w/ Metal Sonic, Sonic, and Tails)
Chaos Rings: 6/6 (6 w/ Schmitt)
Sol Emeralds: 2/7 (1 w/ Fang; 1 w/ Orange)
Crystal Stars: 7/7 (7 w/ Crescendo)
Rainbow Drops: 1/7 (1 w/ Sanae and Suwako)
Stone Frog God: (Earth/Impact) Suwako summons and rides a frog-shaped rock that hops forward once.

HAH!?
Hiyaa dodges the laser and the tackle, reaching even further to the skies to the point where he cannot be seen by anyone.[/color]

The Ring Ring is almost instantly met with a blue-winged tank-like vehicle, immediately dropping down on him before he can react.

Duracell immediately teleports out of the way. Before any of Team Aeon can contemplate why, the entire arena is slammed on by the same blue and white vehicle that hit Ring Ring.
WRRRYYY
Hiyaa, who was pushing the vehicle on the entire time, begins pushing it down further on the contestants, punching it down on them with incredible force.
MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA! MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!MUDA!
Hiyaa lets out one final punch, exploding the entire vehicle. Once the smoke is cleared, Duracell immediately Instant Transmissions back, admiring Hiyaa's work and then turning to the cameras.

Wily Star Ruins
So, before we look for the rest of the collectibles, we should head back to Mega City to check on Crescendo and Schmitt.

Metal Sonic flies down to Earth, expecting Sonic, Tails, and Unbeatable Air to follow.
Snow Planet

Suwako is using her "Magma Amphibian" Spell Card to keep herself and Sanae warm.
Brr...no wonder nobody's visited this place in two months*! It's barren and frigid!
Just be glad that we didn't have to head to Neptune...

As Sanae huddles close to Suwako, she sees a stack of perfectly-aligned ice blocks.
That doesn't look normal.
Probably isn't.

One of the fireballs from the Spell Card lands on the ice blocks, melting them to reveal the second Rainbow Drop underneath!
Finally! Let's get out of here!

Fang is now strolling along a cliff, having found the White Sol Emerald along the way.
Heh, they're giving out gems like they're candy!

He then turns and sees a small girl in a cave, and hides behind a rock to look in unnoticed.
Who's that kid? What's she tryin' to do with that stick o' hers?

Fang notices the girl's trying to toss her baton in the air to knock loose the Red Sol Emerald from the top of the cave, to no avail.
Poor girl can't aim to save her life! Might as well teach her a thing or two...

Fang fires a Quick Cork at the Emerald!
The Emerald breaks out of the cave roof, and Orange catches it!
Yeah! Got it on my first try!

Orange then flies out of the cave, unaware that it was actually a cork that knocked the Emerald loose...

...Meanwhile, at Little Papa Beta's, Kirby has finally arrived.

Puyo!~ Puyo? (Beta!~ You there?)
...
...Puy puyo, puy? (...Still feeling down, huh?)
...I've been feeling better. Still not sure if I should do this, though.
Puyo! Puy puyo puyo! (Come on! We literally can't do this without you!)
...
...People say that they learn from their mistakes. But I'm just not sure if I am learning anything. I just... Make mistakes. And because of that mistake, an entirely different problem arises, worse than the last... And even if we do defeat Regulus... I'm not entirely sure if this would be the worst to come from this Roleplay.

...Puyo. (...Listen.)
Puy puyo puyo. Puyo, puy puyo puyo. Puyo puy "puyo" puy puyo, puyo puyo. Puyo; Puy puyo. Puyoyo. (I know that it's hard sometimes. And trust me, I've made my fair share of mistakes. Even if I am as high on this "hierarchy" as people say I am, I am not perfect. Far from; I'm still learning. I always am.)
Puy puyo puyo; Puy puyo. Puyo... Puyo puyo. (But it doesn't matter what mistakes you make; It's how you learn from them. How you grow... And how much you change.)
...Puy puyo puyo, puy puyo: Puyo puy puyo puyo? (...And if you don't think you've learned from the mistakes of the past, then ask yourself this: How many times did this world explode in comparison to the Absurd Roleplay?)
...

...Puyo, puy puy puyo, puyo puyo puy. (...Well, if you ever want to come out, I'm always willing to share this large cake with a friend.)
...

Kirby then reaches behind the giant cake... It appears his wish was a package deal.

...Puy puyo!~ (...I've also got a lifetime supply of Dr. Pepper!~)

Suddenly, Beta Shadow reforms, complete with Full Release form!

REAL SHIT?
...I knew he would be awoken from his depression for the dumbest reason.
