Adrian, the heart and soul you've already put in this game is PHENOMENAL. Heaven knows you're doing more work on this game than anyone else (and you probably want to see it expand most of all, too), so take your time!

It's understandable for Adrian to go on a break. You get sick of your favorite game/book/tv show/hobby in general and it is only because he has worked so hard on this game that it has gotten to where it is. We get burnt out, we get bored, we get agitated with doing something for too long, and that is normal. If you do the Article on Mega Man Network, good luck!

...I completely understand Adrian's position on this, cause I've been there, done that. There are days where I don't want to do any kind of programming and just want to do some gaming. I'm in that kind of mood right now atm. Besides, I start going for my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science next week, and I'm prepared to deal with a possibly heavy workload. Managing a game or two shouldn't be your highest priorities in life anyway, that should go for families, work, and whatnot. Take it easy, Adrian. We'll be here still when you feel ready to get back in the swing of things.

As an IT student, that's understandable. But programming by yourself is kinda harsh. Even I admit that with only one programmer on a team is HELL. (Yes. In my current thesis, we are a 4-man...even I am the only guy...team. And I am the only one doing the programming.) Sometimes, in programming, 1 is not enough to perfect anything. You might need some help...

But, to directly answer your question, fail two different missions in the Wily story to get her. The support characters are unlockable by failing missions in the story.
EDIT: I see you got her already. Well, at least now you know how you get them! Good luck with the rest of the game!

I hope this is the right topic for this question (i'm so bad at this gwahahaha) but if someone were wanting to try and do some sprites for an (assumedly) unmade robot master (such as splash woman, for instance), where would they go/who would they ask for permission or whatnot?

You can use the contact form to ask the creator Adrian, but you have to send him a basic version for him to greenlight you. Check the database too for how they should be constructed.
There are no plans for Dark Man, but Proto Man has been discussed to have a Break Man outfit.
