Ninja Man was getting pulled in by the whirlpool. He swims fast, managing to avoid Dive Man's attacks while letting a few Quick Boomerangs get sucked into the whirlpool to hit Dive Man.

The Quick Boomerangs end up being pulled into Dive Man through the hole in his chest. One punctures his inner reservoir, causing water to spill near his core. In case something like this ever happened, there is a temporary shutdown to prevent him from being broken beyond repair.
Well, looks like you got me. It doesn't matter, I had two very good fights. I commend you, Ninja Man.

...So I'm facing Zero, huh. This guy is going to regret facing me, especially since he's the only one in the way of Ninja Man...Retro Pikachu enter battle mode, and teleports to the stadium.

Mirror Buster? You might be able to absorb the little meteors, but I don't think you'll have much luck with the big guy over thereRetro Pikachu points to the ENORMOUS meteor that was following behind. No backdash could save Zero then.
