The current version of the prototype has many bugs, as will many version in the future. This is inevitable, all we can do is fix them as they come up and then move on.

Some bugs and issues, however, do not want us to move on. Unfortunately there are some quirks with the prototype that I have not been able to fix yet and unfortunately get reported a lot. I would like to list the most common ones here so that you know you are not alone in your struggles and we are aware of the issue.

Items will be taken off this list when/if they ever get fixed, but until then you just have to deal with 'em. Let's get started!



* This game only works in modern, updated browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Opera is iffy and Internet Explorer is just a "no". If you use one of the less-than-desirable browsers and it doesn't work properly you're on your own. Browsers are free, downloads are small, and dealing with Microsoft's backward system is not on my list of priorities. Sorry. :|

* Even though the games works fairly well in modern browsers, it can still lag sometimes and has a really nasty crashing bug its tab goes inactive during a battle. If the transitions are too choppy you should lower your message speed in the "Options" menu, and if you need to switch tabs click the little pause button at the top of the battle window before you do (or wait until you're back at the main menu again). You've been warned.

* Every single turn your actions are sent back to the server and the results sent back to you after being calculated. If your browser session somehow expires while you're in the middle of a battle (maybe you have aggressive cookie settings, maybe you left the battle idle for way too long, etc.) the entire battle will be ruined and you'll have to start over. Hundreds of robots will appear on-screen in a glitched out manner and you will not be able to do anything constructive so don't try. Reload the prototype and see if you need to log in again.

* Slightly related to above issue, sometimes there will be a fatal error on the server and the battle will be unable to continue causing an endless "Loading..." screen. After a set amount of time, an alert will appear asking you if you want to resend your last action, but most of the time it will not work and the battle may need to be restarted entirely. This is obviously a game-breaking bug that should be fixed, but at the moment it's incredibly hard to diagnose. At the very least, any experience points earned in battle before the bug occurs will NOT be lost.


I know this issues are really annoying and can make your throw the mouse across the room, but please understand that I will fix them as soon as I am capable and I feeeeeeeel your pain. Thank you for baring with me and these bugs and thank you soooo much for playing the prototype! :D

@MusicalKitty : That is not a bug, simply more of a placeholder. Mainly to give viewers an idea to better visualize what exactly the antagonists are like. As for not fitting in with the MM style, I think that's more the point. In terms of design, Slur is an alien-like creature who doesn't exactly pertain with the Earth archetypes. She/it is also relatively tall, but it certainly puts focus on Slur being superior compared to Earth robots. But as stated earlier, it was more of a placeholder to give an idea of antagonistic robot. But don't worry, she'll have a more expanded spritesheet in the future ;)

........also it's really hard to make sprites for robots like Slur.....

Ah, ok. I just checked some concept art for Slur, and I can imagine how difficult that could be to sprite her.

II would report a generic bug whenever i enter the bonus field to grind some stats sometimes a robot which i defeated it gets back in battle instantly with full health and everything else i was yesterday fighting top man and i defeat it and then oil man was with low health and suddenly topman appears in fight again im not sure how but i was little weird for me

and a second report is
When bubble man uses rain flush if you have toad man on your side if you use rain flush 3 times your bubble man will be defeated and it will appear on the creek dr cossack bubble man was defeated how its really weird bug that happened for me couple times already this should be all

Hello. I'm new to the site and the game, and I'm quite enjoying it so far, so thanks for the makers for putting forth the effort not only into creation but also maintainment and expansion of this great idea of a game.
I am facing a slight issue that is not game breaking but I'd like to ask about, in any case:

I play the game using Firefox 39 and my sound on/off setting doesn't seem to remain consistent between pages (in some it is on, in others it is off and it always begins the battle with the sound defaulting to off.

Is this normal behavior? is there something I can/should do to fix it?

Edit 2: Also, the strange sound behavior seems absent on Chrome, so I'll use that to play for the time being.

I would report a weird bug was playing bonus field with training my time man and then heat man uses mecha support there was an invisible mecha when defeating it was invisible bomb man mech my reaction was shocked so im telling this form a safety

looks like i found a bug in battle other players i was close to an win of a battle then sudden message pops up dr cossack bubbleman was defeated

Is Alpha tish glitch enemy is somehow defeated bubble man in cossack wich beeen defeated and i think it does seek some kind od Revenge and my name changed by itself myself not sure what is going on so fix this bug soon as possible cya

Alright. So I found a bug when playing when using the wii u browser. When you finish a match, on it, you can press the back button, and due to how the wii u browser works, you can re-do the battle and still have the battle points from the first time you did it. Which can be easily abused (though there can be loading issues when you do this) and is obviously a bit of a problem.

i would like report a bug fighting in bonus stage defeat Ice Man in first turn and then Ghost of Iceman appears and says Iceman Could Not be Defeated

Playing through Prototype again for the heck of it, came across a peculiar bug. My Dr. Light used an Energy Pellet meant for my Time Man, yet the Ice Man on the opposing team got the energy pellet instead.
That wasn't meant for you, silly Ice Man!
