Now, this project is for a fan game I'm going to make, which stemmed from a strange idea... It's basically Pokemon, but with Mega Man, for some odd reason. Probably going to start from Classic and then maybe expand it with characters from other series.
If you're interested in contributing in some way, you can message me from here or Discord, when I get back online.
I will post updates every now and then, but I'm not even supposed to be here right now.
I want ideas from you people, like move pool ideas, base stat totals, whatever.
Since I'm out... sometimes, I left two Python programs to you people. Use SpeciesGen with MoveGen to make some characters. I'll be in the background, doing something tedious.
Please notify me in the comments if there's a problem with any of the programs.

Let's see... AHA! If you're planning on placing the Evil Energy Robot (Trio) in there, maybe his base stat total should be 666. Also, the starters should be Megaman, Protoman, and Bass.
Okay, this is interesting, but first before all else, you need to have a engine. I'd recommend RPG Maker using the fanmade pokemon engine "Pokemon Essentials" for this type of thing. Using that engine you can import sprites, movesets, and all of that into your game. If you don't have a version of RPG Maker, then you may want to learn how Game Maker works. Games like Undertale have been made in it, and really is not a very complex game programming wise, for the most part.
Here is a link to Pokemon Essentials: https://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=244 Because its for RPG maker XP, that is the version you'll need. RPG Maker XP link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/235900/ I'd say using Prototype's stats movesets, etc. for this, by the way.
