IN THE YEAR 2014, A MAN WHO CALLED HIMSELF BT MAN AT THE TIME DECIDED TO CREATE A THREAD ON A PLACE CALLED MEGA MAN RPG PROTOTYPE THAT ALLOWS PEOPLE TO CREATE THEIR OWN IDEAS OF A MEGA MAN FAN GAME. THEN, IN THE YEAR 2016, BT MAN, NOW CALLING HIMSELF BETA MAN, DECIDED TO CREATE A SERIES THAT IS PRETTY MUCH UNORIGINAL BECAUSE IT'S JUST A SWAP OF EVERYTHING. THIS WAS CALLED "MEGA SWAP". EVENTUALLY, HOWEVER, HE STOPPED POSTING ON THE FAN GAME-MAKING THREAD. HOWEVER, IT WAS POSTED ON BY OTHER PEOPLE, AND BETA MAN WANTED TO DO ANOTHER GAME, BUT WAS UNSURE OF WHAT IT WOULD BE. He created multiple robots based on the bosses from the game, from Pacifist to Genocide, and sent them all out to attack the city! He then dares Mega Man to fight these new robots. Proto Man and Bass comes along as well. Proto Man comes along for assistance, as usual. Bass comes along because he knows about the game and wants to prove his strength to the world.

Wily Stage 1: Warrior's Gauntlet- Various mechas (the basic Mettaurs (not you, NiceIce) and Sniper Joes, as well as mechas based on other Monsters from Undertale) you have faced in previous stages. Defeat all the mechas to win.
Wily Stage 2: Geno (Chara)- Slashes at you, sometimes with a ranged attack. Sometimes disapears and reapears. Weak to Fire Ball or Thunder Trident.
Wily Stage 3: Robot Master Rematches (WingDing Man not included) Trombone******* (Sans)- Weapon: Gaster Blaster. Also teleports around and launches bones, sometimes even changing gravity. He oddly has no weaknesses other than WingDing Corrupter.
Wily Stage 4: Wily Machine Omega (Omega/Photoshop Flowey)- Same attacks as Omega Flowey, aside from the ability to SAVE and using the power of SOULS. Wily's pod moves around from TV screen to one of the two hands, which is where he is most vulnerable.
Final Boss: Mecha Dreemurr (Asriel)- Similar moves of Asriel Dreemurr. He is also buster-proof, and all other attacks hardly does anything, Fire Ball and Lightning Trident doing nothing as well. ...All other attacks except for it's weakness: Gaster Blaster, which you get from Trombone.

Name: Mega Man Underground (CONTINUED!)

After defeating Mecha Asriel, Wily jumps out of the exploding machine and begs for mercy as usual. Mega Man and Proto Man tries to arrest him, but the Wily was revealed to be a fake, the real Wily activating the self-destruct and have already escaped! Bass doesn't fall for this, shooting the dummy. After Bass reveling it as a fake, Wily activates self-destruct. Beta Man and MegaBoy also tries to arrest Wily, however it ends up being Phantom Man instead, teleporting out when Wily activates self destruct. In Mega Man or Proto Man's story, it ends with Dr. Light recreating the Robot Masters (including Trombone, but excluding Geno.) for the greater good. Bass's story ends with Bass meeting up with Mega Man and Proto Man on his way out and, with his new arsenal, challenges Mega Man to a battle as usual. Beta Man's story ends with Beta Man hanging out with Trombone and Bone Man, telling puns, much to the dismay of Bone Man. MegaBoy's story ends with him on top of a building standing there because eh, idk.

Congratulations! You unlocked three new things!
-No Mercy Mode: The game's Hard Mode. Attacks hits harder, Trombone's and Mecha Dreemurr's attacks being insta-kill.
-Boss Rush Mode: Face all the bosses you have defeated! (WingDing Man, Rival Battle, and Warrior's Gauntlet excluded.)
-CDs: Go back into the stages (and even in Hard Mode!) for new locations (some only reachable by specific robots) and hidden items that will describe the playable characters, Robot Masters in the game, and Robot Masters in other Mega Man games! (+ Beta and Mega-specific characters, like Ender Man and Meta, which are only collectable by Beta Man and MegaBoy.)

Going off of Beta Man's "MegaTale" (Page 8, Post 16), I'll be putting my own spin on it... Or should I say "shift"?

Name: MegaShift

Player: Nameable Character
Description (Mostly the same): Once upon a time, there lived two groups: Humans and Robots. Humans and Robots once lived in harmony until war broke down between the two. The humans were victorious due to their knowledge of their weaknesses and such. The Humans, fearful of yet another war, sealed the Robots in an underground area called "Prototype". Later, in the year of 20XX, a human falls into the Prototype. That human... is YOU. Become friends with the Robots of the Prototype and set them free... Or DESTROY THEM ALL. ...though, something seems a bit off, this time around.

Main Characters:
StupidStudiosC2- A robot looking to acquire the 7 player cores and take over the world with their immense power. Once had the power to reset, until the player came along and took the power away from her with their much stronger determination.

MegaBoyX7- The retired prince of the Prototype, he now resides in a place called "World". He does not want his old friend, and the current king of the Prototype, Beta Man, to steal the player's soul due the certainty that peace will not come from his actions.

ThatGuyNamedMikey- Lives in the Waterfall Institute, however he likes to visit World, where he can rant to himself and any others passing by about his hatred for Starforce.

Rhythm_BCA- Lives in Arctic Jungle with his friend and roommate, Retro Pikachu. Loves to mess around with the player, as well as Retro Pikachu. WILL be upset if you're not kind to the others in the Prototype, but morose if you kill Retro Pikachu. Kind of resembles the player in a few ways...

Retro Pikachu- Lives in the Arctic Jungle with Rhythm. Claims to be the guardian of the Prototype, and often likes to practice his combat techniques with Rhythm.

Adrian- Captain of the Robot Master Brigade, his goal is to prevent the player from getting to Beta Man, so conflict will be avoidable. (Adrian The Masterful is his Genocide boss name.)

ZeroDXZ- The most famous celebrity in Prototype, his wishes is to earn the player's soul and deliver it to Beta Man so the barrier can be broken. (2nd Form- Perfect ZeroDXZ. Genocide Form- Zero Omega)

ScienceBossMan (MegaBossMan)- The new royal scientist who lives in his lab at Atomic Furnace. He is also the one who gave ZeroDXZ his body.

King Beta Man- The king of the Prototype, his goal is to break open the barrier using the power of 7 player cores and free all robots. Though prepared for a fight once the player gets to him, he's fine with the way things are, and he wishes to see his old friend, MegaBoyX7, once again... His home is in a place called "Community".

StupidStudiosN (The Fallen Player)- The first player to have fallen down into the Prototype, and was taken in the care of Beta Man, MegaBoyX7, and StupidStudiosC2. Along with the help of C2, he devised a plan to break the barrier, which ultimately ended in failure, getting both of them killed. Whereas C2 was revived, N lives on in the player, awaiting for them to be the Angel of Death the Prototype needs...

REDACTED- No matter the time, no matter the place, it appears that this fellow can't seem to catch a break. From universe to universe, he was once known as the old royal scientist, however, due to an accident in testing one of his devices, he was scattered across time and space, never to be seen, heard from, or even remembered again... ...for the most part, that is.

Original Concept Based on the Undertale AU: "StoryShift"

@StupidStudiosN : Ooh, we're doing MegaTale AUs now? Cool! Here's a combination of both MegaTale and my Mega Man AU, Mega Swap, called... Well, MegaSwap would practically be the same name, but since Bass is the main hero of Mega Swap... Why not call it BassTale?

Phantom Man (StupidStudiosN)- Lives in the Thunderbolt Institute. However, he likes to visit World so he could practice dialogues, for he one day wants to become a famous celebrity like his friend, StupidStudiosC2, but unfortunately is unable to do so due to his stage fright***.

Mega (MegaBoyX7)- Lives in Burning Jungle with his friend and roommate, BetaBoyX4**. Loves to make puns and jokes, though becomes serious when he needs to be. VERY serious. WILL be mad if you kill BetaBoy. Don't kill everyone unless you want to have a bad time.

BetaBoyX4 (Beta Man)- Lives with Mega. Like Mega, he likes his fair share of jokes. Wants to capture a human so he could join the Robot Master Brigade.

ThatGuyNamedMikey- Captain of the Robot Master Brigade, his goal is to gain 7 human souls so that the barrier that traps all robots in Prototype can be destroyed. Lives in Thunderbolt Institute and usually rants on about Starforce. (Genocide Form- Mikey the Starforce Eliminator)

StupidStudiosC2- The most famous celebrity in Prototype, her goal is to earn the player's soul and become a famous celebrity on the surface. Her main stage is located in the Underground Laboratory****. (2nd Form- SSC2 EX. Genocide Form- SSC2 NEO)

X DXZ*****- The royal scientist who lives in his lab at Frozen Furnace.

King Adrian (Adrian)- The King of the Prototype, his goal is to break open the barrier using the power of 7 human souls and free all robots. Though prepared for a fight once the robots reach the surface, all he really wants is peace. His home is in a place called "Community".

I might make more in the future, maybe one with Beta and Mega characters instead. Who knows.

Was Forte's best friend until their deaths.

Adrian- The retired king of Prototype, he now resides in a place called "World". He does not want the new king of Prototype, his old friend and colleague MegaBossMan, to steal the player's soul due the possibility of war.

StupidStudiosC2- Was StupidStudiosN's best friend until SSN left to become a star. Lives in Waterfall Institute, but likes to visit World every once in a while to practice her drawing by herself.

MegaBoyX7- Lives with Beta in Arctic City, though a place he visits a lot is a door in Arctic Jungle. Like Beta, he likes his fair share of jokes. Wants to capture a human so he could join the Robot Master Brigade, even though he and the leader of the Robot Master Brigade, Zero, doesn't really get along.

Beta (Beta Man)- Lives in Arctic City with his friend and roommate, MegaBoyX7. Loves to make puns and jokes, though becomes serious when he needs to be. He is also the final boss of the Genocide Run.

Meta- Lives and works in Arctic City. He owns a place called "Meta's", where he makes various foods like Beta's favorite, Pizza. Beta is a usual customer, but MegaBoyX7 doesn't go there because he's waiting to add Steak to the menu.

Ender Man (ThatOneEnderMan)- All you need to know about this guy is that he is a major troll.

ZeroDXZ- Captain of the Robot Master Brigade, his goal is to gain 7 human souls so that the barrier that traps all robots in Prototype can be destroyed. Lives in Waterfall Institute. (Genocide Form: Perfect Zero)

Mad Rotom (RotomSlashBlast)- A Purple Rotom with Green Electricity that is possessing a robot called a "Normal Navi". His cousin, an unnamed Rotom (which you meet in the ruins) and, no matter what action you take, he will be mad about it and will attack you in order to avenge him. He is yet to become fully corporeal and can only be hurt by magic. (Genocide "Form": Calm Rotom)

Crimson (CrimsonBomber/ProtoManMKII)- Lives in the Arctic Forest. Crimson admires ZeroDXZ's fighting skills and wishes to one day train with him to become stronger. Mistakes the player as a robot since some of the robots looks like humans in armor. Is also a bit clumsy since his shades makes it a bit harder to see.

Mettaur the Met (Mettaur Man/NiceIce)- The mayor of Met Village and owner of the Met Shop. The Mets are all silent, save for Mettaur himself and a Met by the name of Tom.

StupidStudiosN- The most famous celebrity in Prototype, his main stage is in the Underground Laboratory, which is the core of the Prototype. His goal is to take the player's soul and become a famous celebrity on the surface. (2nd Form: SSN EX. Genocide Form: SSN NEO)

Dr. Mikey (ThatGuyNamedMikey)- The royal scientist who lives in his lab at Atomic Furnace. He usually rants about Starforce. He wants to find a way to be friends with Zero, but while Mikey hates Starforce, Zero is a Starforce Collector.

StupidStudiosA- Works for SSN at the StupidStudios Merchandise Emporium, where he sells objects such as a Steak in the shape of SSN's face, cuukees, and even a thing called the "Studios Cake", which is a square cupcake. He likes his job, but doesn't really care about chatting with others, though he will talk if you buy something.

Musical (MusicalKitty/SST)- Musical, while not really a star, thinks of herself as one and has a "fabulous and glamorous" personality. She is also greedy and will attack the player when they refuse to buy a Glittery Doughnut (A doughnut with glitter instead of sprinkles) or a Glittery Cider (a pink cider with glitter sprinkled on the jug). Her battle can be skipped by buying a either a Glittery Doughnut or a Glittery Cider in Atomic Furnace, though this would be a hard task to due since it would be expensive. Alternatively, if you bought one while in World, you could eat it in battle to skip the rest of the fight.

King MegaBossMan- The king of the Prototype, his goal is to break open the barrier using the power of 7 human souls and free all robots. Though prepared for war once the robots reach the surface, all he really wants is peace. His home is in a place called "Community", which is located past Underground Laboratory.

Forte/Rhythm- The first human to fall into the Prototype, he was raised by Adrian and made best friends with Retro Pikachu, as well as good friends with Adrian's colleague, MegaBossMan. However, eventually, Forte had a plan to free the robots from the prototype: he would kill himself with an illness and have Retro absorb his SOUL to become a powerful being and cross the barrier to reach the surface. Once there, however, they were attacked by the humans. Forte insists that Retro fights back, but Retro refused, returning to the Prototype before Retro turned into dust. Filled with grief, Adrian was unsure of what to do. Eventually, the grief caught up to him, and Adrian decides to stop being the king, deciding to hide in a ruins he would eventually call "World", but not before catching glimpse of the plans of the new king, MegaBossMan. Boss had one plan: to kill 7 humans and collect their SOULs so that they could cross the barrier. Adrian, not wanting this, vows to stop Boss' plans. A few years later, Mikey tried to recreate Retro. However, since when a robot dies, the robot, as well as it's I.C. Chip, turns to dust, and since a SOUL can't be created artificially, Retro ends up incomplete, with Retro becoming the soulless being you see at the start of the game.

Match 1: Neko "Zero": The original ZeroDXZ, named Nakoun... Attacks are- OK! Defense is- OK!
-Round 2- Neko "Zero":Nakoun dons Zero's armor, Attacks are +1! Defense is- +1!

Match 2: "Roleplay Zero": ZeroDXZ from a mysterious world, he travels various dimensions to ensure they meet a good ending,...he wields two keyblades, both of them look like the kingdom key,..however one blade is black,..the other is pure white, they are named "Duo" and "Bua"! Attack is- OK! Defense is- OK!
-Round 2- "Roleplay Zero EX": He fuses the two blades together...making the X-Blade, stay strong! Attack is- +2! Defense is- +1!

Match 3: Human Zero?: The user behind ZeroDXZ...he's human,...surely he's as strong as one?.. he uses a long knife for attacks. Attack is- +1! Defense is- OK!
-Round 2-: Human Zero enraged: he becomes enraged, his attacks are stronger but he loses defense! Attack is- +3!! Defense is- -1!

Match 4: Bass Zero: Bass ZeroDXZ is comprised of two core forms, Shadow, and Flame... one will fight in the first round, the second in the proceeding round... if both rounds are not won in the given time, both will fight on the 3rd round. Attack is- OK! Defense is- OK!
-Round 2-: Bass Zero: Shadow Bass Zero or Flame Bass Zero. Attack is- OK! Defense is- OK!

Match 5: Sonic Zero?: Zero in the form of his Sonic OC, this is one tough cookie to crumble! Attack is- OK! Defense is- +1!
-Round 2- Sonic Zero Super: the form reaches it's super strength,...defense and attack are incredible!! Attack is- +3! Defense is- +2!

Match 6: Biometal Zero: Neko Zero, or "Nakoun" returns with the power of the Biometals, Biometals Z and X, the form being Model ZX, this form is Neko Zero's strongest than before. -BOSS CHARACTER!- Attack is- ???! Defense is- ???!
-Round 2- Overdrive BM Zero: Neko Zero activates Model ZX's overdrive mode, Defense and Attack is INTENSE!

Match 7: Nega Zero -Scott Pilgrim Reference/Throwback-: Zero's dark self, fight in the cold frozen town of Toronto,..Scott Pilgrims lovely abode and birthplace! -BOSS CHARACTER!- Attack is- XXX! Defense is- XXX!
-Round 2- "The Dark One": Nega Zero powers up, the dark energy is overflowing!! -"GO GET EM MERGUH MANG!"- Attack is -XXX! Defense is- XXX!

Finale- Match 8: Undyne Zero: Zero in the position of Undyne, the captain of the royal guard, the leader of the reploids, the savior of the underground! Attack is- OK! Defense is- OK!

Final Bos Fight: Proto MKII

After beating every boss, The Player will teleport directly into a room, with Wily running away the
moment he sees he is in the same room as him. While the fiendish mad scientist escapes, another robot teleports, in front of The protagonist. This robot, known as (that's right) Proto MKII tells the protagonist that he will be the one to kill him and bring the blown up remains of his body to "Lord Wily/Lord X". Then the fight begins.

Instead of rapidly attacking the enemy, moving, and repeating the cycle, Proto MKII will jump over the opponent when they use a melee move, and block a buster attack with his Shield, attacking with a Proto Strike ONLY when the opponent is seen vulnerable.

This cycle will continue untill the opponent is only at 5-1 HP left. The Player, who is severely injured an can barely manage to fight at all, suddenly falls to the ground. Proto MKII, who doesnt have a single Poin of health take from him, Walks to Megaman, Charges his buster, and before he could do anything about it, two other robots, the robots the protagonist didn't decide to play as, shoot Proto MKII, who is hurt by it. The robots give the protagonist several health bonus that brings them to full health, and all three of them, to a charge shot that merges together and scrapps Proto MKII. Plot convince.

The decide to talk for a while, until they remember Wily has fled. Mega Man/ Proto Man/Bass rides on Rush/Shield Jet/Treble, chasing Wily, who is riding a small Rocket Ship, and eventually grabs the mad scientist and brings them to jail.

From then on, robots are free to live in harmony and peace. No sign of Roboenza has appeared for a very long time, and it seems like nobody had to worry about Wily taking over the world again.

Description: For a long time, Wily's robots have been arguing over who is Wily's Greatest and Most Powerful Creation. Eventually, Wily got sick of it and had an idea: he would start a tournament that he says would "prove who is the greatest of his creation", when really, he just wanted them to stop arguing for a while. The robots agreed to these terms and prepared themselves for battle.

EXPLANATION: The X seen in this game and ZeroDXZ are from different points in time. X comes from the MMX part of the timeline, and ZeroDXZ, being a separate version of Zero than the MMX and MMZ versions, comes from parts unknown, though is actually the one who appears in the MMRPG Roleplays, as well as Beta and Mega. And thus, ZeroDXZ recognizes X not as the X he knows, but possibly a clone or impersonator.

...And I didn't even had a single doubt in mind. After all, thanks to my Phantom Morph, if there was anyone stronger than me, I can just turn into them and turn the tables at the same time. It was OBVIOUS I was going to win. It was just a matter of strategy.

...Alright, I'll admit it guys. This wasn't really a win for me, but for the entire MMK! My victory REALLY showed everyone the pride and strength of the Mega Man Killers, and I am proud to be your leader. Now, let us prepare for whatever mission Wily has for us in store next.

I had no doubt in mind I would win. Heck, I didn't even have to use my second form! If there is EVER another robot claiming to be Wily's Best, then they would have to hope that they can keep up with me!

Heh. I knew I was the strongest of the Wily Bots. That Hyper Storm H was so much of a wimp, he didn't even bother to show up! ...But on the other hand, neither did Quint, but who cares, really? I'm just proud of what I accomplished today.

Buster Rod G
Ha ha! I really showed them today! I honestly can't believe I managed to win! Who knows, maybe that'll teach Mega Water S to have some respect!

Mega Water S
Mega Water S, since he had proven himself worthy enough to become the new leader of the Genesis Unit, decides to rub it in Buster Rod G's face.
