Attention! This is a legacy build of the Mega Man RPG from 2017 and is no longer being maintained.
Reported bugs will not be fixed and any progress made here will not be saved.
Return to the archive index for more legacy content or
play the current version of the game for all the new stuff.
Where the FAQ thread is meant to be for bullet-point facts that will be listed somewhere on the website together, this is for actual topic/thread requests.
As you can see, the mechanics forum is dedicated to posts by myself outlining various mechanics in the game that I feel require a bit more explaining than is available in-game. We have topics for Robot Cores, Robot Stats, Weapon Energy, Password Prompts, and more, but if you can think of anything else that needs covering just let me know in the comments!
Thanks again!

I think Player Fields and the Starforce would be a good idea. I didn't know how exactly the Starforce worked at the start, so it would help new players.
@MegabossMan : @QuickLikeQuickman : Yes, it's just a way to quickly scroll to the top of the page. The new "@ reply" links simply scroll to the bottom of the comment form for you. One day I want to have these reply buttons also copy/paste the user's name for you with their formatting code, but that'll have to come later on when I have more time. :|
@MegaBossMan : A lark is a kind of bird, and I based the name off the net-navi from Mega Man Battle Network. The character's Japanese name was Swallow Man, but I decided to go with his English name Lark Man as I have for all the other characters.
Also, this thread is meant for requesting explanations about game mechanics or features. It's basically a way for you to request a new instructional thread like the others in this category of the forum. Small questions like this might be better asked elsewhere. ;)
@KipoyTheNarwhal No, you have to grind for attack, defense, and speed points by doing the normal missions because you can no longer gain XP & Stats from player battles as they are only meant for boosting your rank & BP.
when getting fusion stars, yamato man showed up in cut man's stage! and even though i beat him with just buster shots, i did not get him like a normal story robot master! WHY DIDN'T I UNLOCK HIM!?

Yelling makes me light headed.
Yamato Man appeared because he's a Cutter Core, and you have to beat the Robot Master on their stage to unlock them. However, he does not have a stage, mech, or weapon yet.
