The Mavericks are more out of control than ever. The world seems lost. No one is safe. Will you survive to see the end of The Elf Wars?

Welcome brave volunteers (As if you had a choice to escape a world crisis). You have volunteered to join the Maverick Resistance by reading up to this point of this thread (Here's your badge, your stamp on your hand and if you desire snacks, they'll be on the table to your left). By joining up, you have a choice of joining as a human or as a uninfected Reploid. Please read and make your decision below to continue the orientation.

Playing as a Human............................. | Playing as a Reploid

Pros:.................................................. | Pros:
- Humans in remaining woods aren't........ | - Reploids consume half the water a human consumes on their turn.
detected until Mavericks are right........... | - Reploids can make a stand to defend themselves against attackers who are on the same or 1 level higher.
next to the player................................... | - Reploids use Super Weapons more efficiently and have an extra Attack Level when using one.
- Humans can create makeshift vehicles
with 1 less part of scrap than normal.
- Humans can go up to Maverick Bases
w/o being detected until they infiltrate
it.

Cons:................................................... | Cons:
- One Human alone can't finish a Maverick | - Reploids are detected by their larger brethren from an extra space away including in woods/cities.
fight in one turn....................................... | - Reploids need scrap parts as well as a Med/Repair Kits to restore health.
- Humans can't defend themselves from
attackers as well as a Reploid.

Your Mission After Deployment
At XX hundred hours you and a group of others will be deployed to an area where special types of Mavericks reside. Mavericks with memory cores that could have clues to the whereabouts of the Dark Elf which was previously the Mother Elf. These Mavericks will be marked in GREEN on your radar. Your ultimate goal is to find and take down these specific Mavericks and collect their memory cores. Speaking of your radar, the radar is not seeing its best days. "Friendlies" and Mavericks alike will be marked in WHITE on your radar. Unless if it is a stronger Maverick, then it will be marked in YELLOW and Mavericks too dangerous to face alone will be marked in RED. DO NOT attempt to face these Mavericks without backup as your chances of survival are unlikely. So be careful when coming into contact with another WHITE marker on your radar.

Types of Mavericks
White: Small Mechaniloids or Human based Reploids. Can be defeated in 1-2 turns.
Yellow: Your average flashy Maverick with animalistic abilities. Can be defeated in 2-3 turns.
Red: Dangerous large combat-Mechaniloids built for the destruction of Human and Reploid alike. Can be defeated in 3-4 turns. There are 3 special types:
. Tank: Appears from the edge of the map and moves 2 spaces a time.
. Flying: Appears from the edge of the map and moves 3 spaces at a time.
. Mole: Appears from any plain area on the map and moves 2 spaces at a time while above ground.
Green: Your target Mavericks. Human based Mavericks with a bit more kick than your average Yellow Maverick. They are speed based so they may make a break for it. Can be defeated in 2-3 turns.
*These estimates are based on the idea that you are on the same level as the Maverick you encounter. If not then the battle may take longer or be shorter.*

Items
- Scrap: Collect scrap to create makeshift vehicles to advance 3 spaces a turn for 3 turns. Or use it to make repairs to yourself if you a Reploid. 4 Pieces to create one as a human and 5 as a Reploid. 2 Pieces of scrap for use in repairs if you are a Reploid. These pieces can be more easily acquired at Junkyard areas.
- Weapons: Abandoned and consumable combat gear that is normally found in this war-torn area. You can use up to two at a time in a battle. Once used in a battle they become worthless and are lost.
- Super Weapons: Powered-Up/consumable weapons with an attack level of x3 Weapons, x4 for Reploids. Can only use one per battle mixed with 1 Weapon. Once used in a battle they become worthless and are lost.
- Med/Repair Kits: Use this in case you are defeated in battle. Reploids need scrap to make use of this item however. Item is gone once used.
- Water: Whether you're human or reploid, you need this to survive out there while you not in battle. Humans need it to live and Reploids need it to keep running efficiently. So drink up every turn. A Water Canteen can never be taken away from you.
- Water Canteen: Your main personal supply of water. Carries a larger volume of water than a bottle. It equals to exactly 5 bottles of water. Can be refilled by rivers.
- Water Bottle: A consumable bottle of water. These can not be refilled but can be found, especially in destroyed cities. Water bottles can also be taken from you when you fall in battle. Whether you have a Med/Repair Kit or not. You can only carry 5 bottles of water at a time.

Locations
- City Ruins: Enter cities for light anti-detection from nearby Mavericks. (White Mavericks need to be next to the city to detect you) Cities also provide higher chances to find scrap. They also hold the highest probability of finding weapons.
- Small Forests: Enter forests to for medium anti-detection from nearby Mavericks (White-Yellow Mavericks need to be next to the forest to detect you. These Mavericks need to enter the forest to detect you if you are human)
- Tiny Darkwood Pine Forests: Enter these dark woods for heavy anti-detection. (Only Red Mavericks can detect you if they are right next to forest, except for when you a reploid)
- Junk Yard: Visit junk yards for high chances of collecting usable scrap. (Provides no cover/anti-detection)
- Rivers: Visit a river segment to refill your water canteen to MAX. Probabilities of finding water bottles is highest here. (Provides no cover/anti-detection)
- Mountains: Visit mountains to get a clear view of 'friendly' and Maverick markings. You will be able to tell who is friendly and who is the enemy up to another square away. Probability of finding Med/Repair Kits is highest here. (Provides no cover/anti-detection)
- 1 Building Maverick Base: Infiltrate bases to retrieve intel and level up quickly after a successful infiltration. They also hold the highest probability of finding Super Weapons If you are human, you can enter w/o being detected if there are no Mavericks nearby to detect you. If you are a reploid, you will be detected when you are right next to it. A White Maverick will battle you and if you win, you can continue inside with the infiltration.
During a Infiltration: You need 2 turns inside the base to successfully acquire intel-data. One to get in, and one turn in the same space to complete your infiltration. If another player is detected nearby the building while you are in the middle of yours, all surrounding players will be hounded by Yellow Mavericks. Multiple players detected near a base will also more easily catch the attention of a dangerous Red Maverick. So be careful.

Basic Rules
WHILE ON MAP
- You will move 1 space on the map/radar every turn. Unless if you are riding a vehicle.
- Move towards another marker on the map to initiate an action.
Actions:
. Communicate: When coming across another marker, it could be friend or foe. Greet them to avoid attacking a friendly by accident. If you are being communicated to, you may accept to continue and team up or avoid the other player. If you communicate to a Maverick by mistake, you will begin a battle.
. Attack: This will have you attack the other marker right away and begin a battle with a Maverick. But if you attack a friendly of the same level or 1 level less (2 Lvls for reploids) than you, you will knock them out for one turn, leaving them helpless for their next turn. If you attack a friendly 2 levels or less (3 Lvls for reploids) than you, you will outright kill/destroy them. If you are being attacked by a Maverick or 'friendly' of a lower level than you (same or 1 level above you if you are a reploid) you can defend yourself and prevent any negative effects to yourself.
. . . Looting: When you knock out another player, you have the option to loot from them 1 item. When a 'friendly' is killed/destroyed however, all of their items may be looted. Note that looting multiple items will require multiple turns. 1 item per turn. (Water Canteens can not be looted EVER)
. Custom: You're in the moment, you're face to face with another being (whether they be organic/mechanical). Choosing to do a custom and explaining your custom action will cause random effects. Which can cause positive or negative effects, or both.
- Moving in Groups: When you find a 'friendly' you can team up with them to fight Mavericks together and up your attack strength. Custom moves can be used while in a group so trading, and other things can be done while in a group as well. A couple will do fine but 3's a crowd that will have Yellow or above Mavericks move in to your location as larger groups will reveal your markers as Resistance Fighters. A group of 5 or more is asking for Red Mavericks to show up in your vicinity.
- You must be in the visual area of a location to find and/or specific items and activate specific statuses.
- Use your Med/Repair kits while on map when you are defeated in battle or attacked and or killed/destroyed by a friendly.
- X and Zer0 may pass by our location during their missions. They will be instantly seen on the radar by their iconic X & Z symbols. Run into one of them for extra boosts!
WHILE IN BATTLE
- i.e. You are a level 3 player, use two weapons and you have an attack power of 5 (3 From your level + 2 for using both weapons in battle) Have an attack strength larger than the enemy's level to beat them on your second turn in battle as a human. Have a strength power above the enemy and you can defeat them in a single turn as a reploid. This is going by if you are fighting a small White Maverick. If you are fighting a Yellow or above Maverick, the fight will take several turns.
- Weapons are used every turn in battle so if you are a level 5 fighting a Yellow Maverick at level 7. You will need to have 6 weapons total (as human or 4 weapons in total as a reploid) to emerge victorious.
- Every battle turn you can use up to 2 weapons or a combination of 1 super weapon and 1 weapon.
- If you are engaged in battle w/o weapons your attack level will be -1 (i.e. Being Level 5 w/o weapons gives you an attack strength of level 4).
- You gain a level for every Maverick you defeat.
- You lose a level when you are defeated by a Maverick and you must use a Med/Repair Kit afterwards to survive.

That is the end of the briefing! Fight valiantly and be brave. The fate of humanity counts on your success. If new rules-intel is received here at base, then this thread will be updated. Dismissed!

P.S. Map deployment shall now commence. This main channel (comments) is not safe. The resistance and Maverick alike can tap into it. So maintain radio silence about your movements, location, and actions and use the the secure channel (PMs) for those reasons!

Ooh! Okay then, Reploid time.

Name: Skulker
Weapon: Scythe
Occupation: Mausoleum Guard

Description: Skulker is a mysterious reploid who seems more like a maverick than a regular one, due to his...rather "intimidating" design. Once worked as a law enforcer, and then changed his job to help guard a mausoleum. Cryptic and quiet, he might make a good spy for the Reploid force.

@MMX100 : Reploid Time! Name: Axl (Because I love em.)

Weapon: Dual Pistols

Occupation: Maverick Hunter

Desc: Used to be apart of A group called "Red Alert". He left the group after the things they did including murdering reploids, in the end they got destroyed. They were working for Sigma. X and Zero wanted to locate him and destroy him...again. Hes pretty reckless and sounds like A girl, but he is a very good Maverick Hunter in the end.

Oh-hoh-hoh! This sounds fun!

I'll be human, of course. Humans rule.

Name: Ura (obviously.)

Weapon: Sling Blade and Throwing Knives, if it's alright.

Skills: Management and Negotiation.

Description: An ordinary businessman who happens to be a gym going enthusiast. He never had too many friends, so he dedicated more time trying to bettering himself, regardless of his constant failure to be a good person. (A for effort!) He's not quite right in the head, but he works it out!

Any questions should be directed here! Again, just don't reveal your locations, actions and movements here. Failure to do so will result in Mavericks converging to your area. My first comment will soon be a summary of your profiles, levels and number of items.

@uraccountcrashed : The system is random but if you read up on the Locations section above you'll find what places grant you a higher chance rate for specific items.
