Unlocking New Robot Masters

The previously held rule to unlock a new Robot Master is to defeat them in their lairs with only Neutral abilities, but the new MM3 Robot Masters do not have them. Do you have to do the bonus Robot Masters battle to unlock them?

i beat cossacks story FIRST and kalinkas shop aint opening any time soon!
did you mean to unlock the shop you have to beat cossacks story...
did you mean EVERY story?

@megaman x You get them when you but their stages and beat them with neutral weapons. It has to be their home. You can find them in other stages to scan them to get those stages and you must complete one of the stories to get Kallinka's shop, where you can get the scanned stages for a whopping 4500 Zenny! Then you can unlock them normally in their own hoomeland! ^_^
