Unlocking New Robot Masters

The previously held rule to unlock a new Robot Master is to defeat them in their lairs with only Neutral abilities, but the new MM3 Robot Masters do not have them. Do you have to do the bonus Robot Masters battle to unlock them?

Are there any particular fields where I can encounter crystal type robots? I haven't been able to find one so far.

How do you unlock the Megaman 9 Robot Masters so you can play as them? I encountered Plug Man in Elecman's Stage when the Electric Star was there which attracted him. Can you only unlock the Megaman 3 Robot Masters, or can you also unlock the other ones like the MM9 ones?

Only the MM1-4 robots are unlockable. There may or may not an update in the works that allows the MM5 robots to be unlocked, but it's not coming any time soon.

While trying to scan MM3 robots, I beat them and scanned them, but the option to buy them has not yet appeared. I think I might...no I got nothing. I really need help.

@nickabrick1216 : Go into the shop and check Kalinka's shop specifically. The MM3 robots you've scanned should have their respective fields to be bought in one of her shop tabs.
