Remember the 1st PMMCT?

Well, the 2nd PMMCT was held here, and, well, it had even more surprises than the first. Once again, you, the people of Prototype, decided who you believed was the greatest Mega Man character of all time [at least for now].

Second verse, same as the first: I posted a division of 4 pairs of 2 characters, each, and you had 24 hours time to vote on your more favored character in each pair; not who you thought would win in a fight, but, who you liked MORE.

The character with more votes advanced to the next round. In the case of all ties, yours truly gave the tiebreaking vote. I banned myself from voting in this tourney, otherwise.

The 4 that advanced from Round 1 do battle in Round 2. The 2 winners of Round 2 advanced to the Division Final, and the winner there advanced to the Grand Division, which I again saved for last.

Here's how the 2nd PMMCT went down.

Currently, I'm asking some questions on how to conduct a 3rd PMMCT, as well as whether or not a 3rd is even wanted. Please see post #316.

@Beta Man : That's why I update the opening post with MMKB links to each character in the tournament.

Oh, wow.....

Division 1 Final:
Higsby vs. Mega Man X [5-5]

So, it's up to me, eh? People are gonna hate me over this.

It's like this; I respect both characters heavily--one sets you up for future encounters with more dangerous viruses and Navis, ahile the other is a slightly conflicted hero who wishes there was a way other than to fight.

It's extremely difficult for me to choose, but, I have to. The deciding factor was simply who I admired more, and the answer to that, unfortunately for me, was simple.




...Mega Man X. I'm so sorry.

Higsby vs. Mega Man X [6-5]

So, it's Mega Man X that advances to the Grand Division at the end of the tourney. Please don't hate me. Please?
