This is where the 3rd installment of the PMMCT took place, where the greatest Mega Man Character ever [at least, for now], was decided on by you, the people of Prototype.

There was 96 characters this time around, too.

Here's how it went down: In each battle, I posted pairs of characters, and the people of Prototype voted for their favorite character in each pair. Not who they thought would WIN that fight, but, which one they liked more than the other. VOTERS HAD TO HAVE VOTED IN ALL BATTLES THAT TOOK PLACE IN THAT ROUND, OR THEIR ENTIRE VOTE WAS NULL AND VOID.

Voters could edit their votes as much as they wanted, but, after 11:59 PM, all votes were final. The winners of each battle advanced to the next round. In the case of any ties, your truly made the deciding vote, like I always did, and, of course, I barred myself from voting, otherwise, like I always did.

The 12 characters that won their divisions faced off against each other in the Grand Division, the final Division of the Tournament, where they did battle against each other. The winner of THAT Division won the title of "Greatest MM Character Of All Time [at least, for now]".

Here's how the tournament went down.

If there are any questions, please post them either in here, PM me here on Prototype, or look for me in the Prototype Chat; I'm usually there every day.

Cut Man. I like Crash Man, but Cut Man is too iconic.
Bass. I've recently been trying to no-damage Launch Octopus. I think I hate him.

Sorry, Retro, your vote was just a biiiiit late [1:40].

.....and so am I. Today was a lazy day for me; slept too much. Sorry. :P
Anyway.....

Crash Man vs. Cut Man (7-1)
Bass vs. Launch Octopus (4-4)

Wellwellwell. Another tie, eh?

TOUGH. REALLY, REALLY TOUGH, but, the microscopic edge to Cut Man, only because even though Crash is the better opponent, his Crash Bombs make for an annoyingly noisy fight.

This is a joke, right? OF COURSE, Launch Octopus. A better opponent in nearly every way than Bass has ever been. Plus, this is someone who's supposed to be well-known and "liked" TYING a regular X series maverick Boss.
.....must not be any regular X series Boss.

Crash Man vs. Cut Man (8-1)
Bass vs. Launch Octopus (5-4)

So, there's your Division 3 Final:

Division 3 Final [Closes at 11:59 PM, EST, 3/26/17]
Cut Man vs. Launch Octopus

FIGHT!

Huh. Twice I had to bail Launch Octopus out of a tie, only for him to be carved up in a shutout. Ouch.

Division 3 Final
Cut Man vs. Launch Octopus (7-0)

With Cut Man going through to the Grand Division, it's time to find out who's meeting him there. Enter Division 4!

Division 4, Round 1 [Over at 11:59 PM, EST, 3/27/2017]:
Quint vs. Double
King vs. Pharaoh Man
Fire Man vs. Napalm Man
Astro Man vs. Tango

aaaaaand, VOTE!

Double, for sure. Another character I think had a lot of potential, enough to win me over Quint, who had his fair share of screen time and simply didn't live up to the idea of the Megaman being reprogrammed by Wily and sent back in time. Yes, yes, it probably has something to do with the jackhammer-pogo stick.

King. Super tough for me, but in the end, even though Pharaoh Man is really cool, King is someone who really knows how to rule. I would follow King before Pharaoh Man.

Fire Man. You really aren't going easy on me here...I love Napalm Man's love for weapons, but he simply can't outdo Fire Man's zeal for TEH FLAMEZ O JUSTISH!!!

Astro Man. He's so powerful, but so lovable.

Quint
Pharaoh Man
Fire Man
Astro Man

I did pick Tango first originally, but my reasoning for Tango being there was about a fan-game (Tango is a usable item in 8-Bit Deathmatch), so logically for the scope of this tournament, it was not a valid reason, so I switched to Astro Man. The others I decided very quickly.
