What and why Dry Bowser?!
Dry Bowser is a character that has only appeared in Mario Party and certain other Mario Sports games. Dry Bowser is a character that people want far, far less than other characters. If Dry Bowser is meant to be a rep for the Mario sports/party games, well we already have Daisy, and Waluigi has been a far more wanted character. Design wise, if the Smash development team wants another Mario sports/party rep, then someone like Kamek would be a fantastic choice. Dry Bowser only makes sense as an echo, and that's it. An echo that, so far, only I have seen one person want for. That it. Out of dozens of dozens wanted reps I have seen, only one person I have seen wants Dry Bowser. Nobody on Discord, nobody on youtube, just one person. At least with Isabelle, I saw like, a few people on Reddit, but with this, I have seen no one besides this one person. The only way I could ever see Dry Bowser being a thing in Smash as being in already mentioned mods or as an alt skin. Same for Dark Bowser being an alt skin, though Dark Bowser really has only appeared in Bowser's Inside Story. Dark Bowser I guess could have potential as at least an alt skin because of the upcoming remake for Bowser's Inside Story? Ehhh.

As for Shadow... Eh, would be a cool echo, and actually, a really well wanted rep. Another Sonic rep has been wanted since the days of Smash 4, after all.

Heck Decidueye is a better pick also he's the Gen 7 Rep.

Or Inceruior but he's less likely to make it in the game

@ThatOneSPOOOOOOOOO : I'm certain Dry Bowser originated from New Super Mario Bros. and made a few more appearances in the mainline games but yeah, he mostly appeared in spinoff titles.

also with giga bowser already being a thing it's pretty unlikely there'll be a dry giga bowser to go with it cus smash is lazy with final smash alts

Dry Bowser is altarnate character that orignate form New Super Mario Bros.Plus he wont be appearing in Super Smash Bros.Cause there is aleardy Bowser and Giga Bowser.Plus they would be lazy to build an alternative bowser.Dry Bowser made his couple spinoff's in maintimeline of originate super mario bros games.Plus he appeard in few mario party games (don't remeber exactly wich one's)I would rather vote for Simon form Castelvania to appear as character or Diddy Kong.

@Yoshi2018 : Not to mention this one time when I posted a video in the Discord showcasing a Dark Bowser (kinda ironically) mod in Super Mario Party not even a week past its release date.

Anyway, Switch modding isn't as rampant or accessible as the Wii and (to a lesser extent) Wii U, so that isn't worth much

Even then, it still takes a long while for mods to pop up and advance from lowly texture and vertex hacks to even get passable mods of say, Dry Bowser
