I don't really see a problem with most of these, honestly. A couple of which I don't like for are Proto/Break Man and Bass as bosses and Custom challenge castles.
I got nothing to circumvent custom castles, but I do have one for Proto and Bass.
To prevent confusion, Proto Man and Bass would use darker palettes if you were playing as them.
Honestly, there's still a possibility that those features would come, it's just not likely.
