...if we didn't save him, how does this solve the problem?
Giv 'er a sec.
Hmph. Don't be foolish as to believe bringing them back to life will save them outright. The virus will never leave the host's body. It is designed to be irremovable. Any attempt at saving them is pointless... Just as it is pointless to save the universe from Regulus Grande's wrath.
...You're just lucky I decided against releasing any more. I appear to have been incapable of stopping those heroes from reaching the Duracell Games. No matter. Duracell and Shaggy Negro will lose either way, and those heroes will have thought to have won... And that's when Regulus wipes out this entire universe for all of eternity.
So, I'd take this moment to-
Enough. You've prattled on for far too long.
You keep going on and on about how "Regulus is impossible to defeat" and "the Omniverse is doomed" and all that bull
. But you forgot one thing: Even if he has become more powerful than even the Reapers, perhaps even Shaggy or Robbie, or even Matt. He's still not even CLOSE to El Grande Padre's full power.
Furthermore, You don't rise through the hierarchy with power alone. Regardless of how strong he's become, all things considered, He's STILL classified as a Character.
And finally, even if all that stuff doesn't change anything, one things for sure: He may be stronger than all of us when on our own... But together, Regulus will never win.
...I see... So, you think you'll be able to win this by working together. Is that right?
It's the working theory.
...Then, tell me. If your plan is to gather everyone... What are your plans for people who have no intention of helping?
I'd certainly like to know how the three of us are going to get anywhere. Schmitt and I don't exactly have positive public images, and you've killed at least five people on top of being partially responsible for Jazz Hands.
Well, before we worry about quantity, let's discuss quality.
Chances are, anyone who fights against Regulus needs to be, at worst, a jack of all trades.
Defense or speed over attack? You're not going to scratch him even with the backup.
Attack or speed over defense? You're a piece of wet tissue paper who's going to blow up if he looks at you funny.
Attack or defense over speed? He'll wear you down to nothing before you can move an inch.
And that's without talking about robots with type weaknesses. They're less common than some think, but they exist. Air, the All-Star Numbers...even the DOSBots, from what I've scanned of them, have weaknesses to certain dual-types.
Our first step of preparation lies with these:
These Medallions enhance abilities of their type, and reduce damage taken from the type.
We need to figure out who in Dimension 1 and 2 are in the most need of one or both.
I'm not going to bother intervening with what you did to a Reaper. That's part of the story.
What I am going to point out, however, is that the hierarchy is horribly outdated.
Back when Beta Devil revealed it on Page 20, Reapers were the strongest hierarchy beings to show their faces.
And to say things have changed since Beta Devil's first attack would be the biggest understatement on the whole site.
Now, I can't update the hierarchy. Even with my best estimates of power, that doesn't change that I didn't write it.
I don't expect someone under Beta Shadow's ownership to revise it on the spot, either. I'm just saying that you have no reason to undermine the power of Kirby, El Grande Padre, or even Cranky Kong just because they're absent from insufficient data.
...Do you know where Kirby is at the moment?
Somewhere around the back, I believe.
Thanks. ...Before I head over there, though, I believe we need to discuss something.
Discuss what, exactly?
...It's this scroll Mega Man gave to me. I think you'll need to hear this...
...An interesting history lesson. But I am unsure why I needed to be told this.
...I inform you of this because of your Ultra Instinct. Additionally, there are the forms of your counterparts... As well as the potential for the others to gain their own unique forms.
...Gohan was able to defeat El Grande Padre due to a balance of 10 different colors working together... 10 different powers. To defeat Regulus, we'll need to do the same. And you and your counterparts are the perfect candidates to do so.
...Interesting. I think I'll pass.
Wh- ...What...? But we need you to-
To do what!? To make the problem worse!? Because that's all I'm ever good for. I try to solve the problem, and all I end up doing is make things worse.
...
I tried to help with Symphony. What happened? He absorbed me and used me like some kind of armor. I tried to prevent the second Rotom from causing trouble. What happened? He became Kurotomata, who's still out there somewhere, possibly plotting to cause all KINDS of chaos. I'd even bet he's the reason Cranky's gone.
I wanted just as much as Ninja Phantom to get rid of Beta Devil. What happened? I allowed this thread to exist. I think it speaks for itself- especially now- why this is just another mess that resulted from me wanting to fix things.
...Ninja Phantom is my Pseudoreaper. I could've just told him then-and-there to just end the thread when Beta Devil died, or even delete it the moment he created it. But I didn't. Because I thought it was the right thing to do. What a foolish IDIOT I was. NOTHING about this is right.
Now Regulus has the power to erase us all in an instant. Like we're nothing. And it's all MY fault. I could've stopped him, when Walter wouldn't. I could've erased him and called it a day. But now, even THAT'S not an option anymore.
If I had just known this would've happened, I would've gotten rid of him in an instant. Nobody would have to die. Why do people think so highly of me!? I do nothing more than ruin everything!
I can't handle it anymore! I've done nothing more than made mistake after mistake, and I can't do it anymore! I JUST WANT TO-
...This isn't good.
...Sorry to interrupt your thought process of who else to enlist, Jazz, but we have a problem.
What problem? We have a lot of those right now.
This problem.
Sheesh, couldn't be more careful dropping them in here, could you?
Didn't need to. They're dead.
They're WHAT!?
Wait. Mech-tenant can just return to life through the Dark Star's power, right? All we need is a powerful healer-type to bring A. Rock back to life.
...
.
What's the problem?
I don't think Beta Shadow ever created a support-type character before.
Sorry, you two. I highly doubt Regulus cares about anything you have to say, nor does our poor little Reaper friend have a say in the matter in regards to your agreement.
Speaking of Regulus.... I think it's time me and him have a little heart-to-heart.
...No. We can't just have Beta Shadow create a Support character out of the blue. It has to be a previously existing character. Otherwise, they'd lack the experience needed for such a powerful spell.
Yeah, something tells me he isn't going to be able to collaborate on such a character for a while now, anyways...
