Greetings, one and all, and welcome to the Chaos Zone. This is an attempt to do what the Absurd Roleplay attempted to do: Create a safe environment for people to be OP so that, hopefully, it won't spread to other threads.
I'll let it be known now: This is NOT a continuation of the Absurd Roleplay itself, nor of its story/stories. If you participated in the Absurd Roleplay at some point and wish to bring back any characters or plotpoints that existed at the time, feel free. But do note that this is, more or less, its own continuity. Heck, if anything, it doesn't even need its own continuity. But, I'd be foolish to think it won't. In fact, I am counting on it.
Anyways. Some ground rules:
1. If you're going to do stats and damage, feel free to have them be as big as possible. Just don't make them extremely long.
2. Do not use other people's characters. Feel free to make as many characters as you would like, though.
3. If you want to destroy the world, that's fine. Want to destroy the galaxy? Great. The universe? Can always be pieced back together. But do NOT. Under ANY circumstances. Destroy ANY universe that is not involved with this thread. You are also equally banned from destroying the entire Omniverse, or any Omniverse beyond. There are... certain people. I want to avoid the attention of. So let's refrain from stretching out the destruction to beyond this thread, ok?

Right. I guess as long as you're not planning to cause any sort of trouble- for now, anyways- guess we can leave you off the hook. I'm just glad that you aren't planning anything bad with them, like that Sometal creation of-Sonic then realizes something.
Dr. Koopenstein! He's still on the loose out there... What if he builds another one of those Sometal creeps? Or worse yet... That original Sometal could still be alive back there...
Whatever the situation may be, we HAVE to try and gather the rest of the Super Emeralds before Koopenstein gets the chance! If ONE Super Emerald made such a dangerous threat before, who KNOWS what he could use them for... Yeah, or worse... Any of the Eggheads of the multiverse could try to get their hands on them, as well. I think we should hurry and find the next Super Emerald, and fast! On that note, where do you suppose we head off to next?

These Super Emeralds truly are in the strangest of locations... I don't know how the planet is active, but my radar's picking up two Super Emeralds, each at opposing ends of Zebes. Knowing those who once lived on there, leaving them unattended on that planet would be even worse than an Eggman finding it.Metal Sonic flies off to Zebes in search of the Blue andRed Super Emeralds, expecting Sonic and Tails to follow.

Collateral Aeon, however, dodges easily! The Duracell clones then suddenly discover how Collateral Aeon is dodging all of these attacks; Whenever Collateral Aeon gets attacked by something, a monochrome box appears with a red, heartlike object inside of it. The Red Heart can move within the box, and white bullets representing the attack being used on Collateral Aeon appear too, with patterns and visuals differing between attacks. If the Red Heart touches the bullets, Collateral Aeon takes damage, and his Invincibility Frames trigger for a few seconds before the Red Heart can be hit again.

On regular circumstances, attacking Duracell would have sped up the countdown, but fortunately for Team Aeon, they are on their final turn before he is finished charging his laser regardless. Duracell makes one more clone, who at first speaks to the three.
The Duracell clone forces the monochrome box to appear by attacking Collateral Aeon, then uses his Telekinesis (the heart turning yellow-orange in response) to grab and slam the heart from wall to wall for a good thirty seconds. Soon after, the Clone stops as beeping noises are detected from the real Semi-Perfect Duracell. He laughs in response.

Duracell begins to plant a worryful look on his face, feigning fear. He then begins to laugh, or attempt to laugh as the tacos prevent him from doing so.
Through the tacos, a beam of light covers Duracell's mouth, violently causing an earthquake. Duracell then yells out:
Duracell fires an astronomically powerful Royal Rainbow at the three Aeons, blowing up the arena from the sheer shockwaves and turning all in it's path to ash. As the smoke clears, Duracell, who is notably more fat, transforms back to regular size.

As Metal Sonic reaches Zebes, he gives directions to Sonic and Tails.
I'm picking up several life signs from the planet, but they seem to be typical wildlife... But this gives us no less of a reason to make this a fast trip. You two look in Crateria, where Tourian first was; I'll be in Norfair.Metal Sonic flies into the planet's core, searching for the Red Super Emerald.

What do you mean? They just dodged that entire laser. I think they're safe. They still have a massive disadvantage against Duracell. Even if Parallel 1 and Legacy were fighting at the same time as the current three, that'd be true. Because it's clear how much Energy they have. No matter what they dodge, it's always going to be evident how close to death they are. The same can't be said about Duracell. I wonder if anyone has his level of willpower...
