What if Robot Masters gave their extra mode forms like how Kirby series?
Extra mode forms could recolor the bosses and affects their attacks to make it harder and stronger.

Extra Mode MM1 Robot Masters:

Cut Man (EX) : Recolor him purple, he can wall jump and sometimes throws 2 Rolling Cutters.

Guts Man (EX) : Recolor him green. His Super Arm can throw 2 times.

Ice Man (EX) : Recolor him orange and black, his Ice Slasher is explodeable and he can use ice storm.

Bomb Man (EX) : Recolor him yellow, he can place landmines and his Hyper Bombs spilt into little bombs.

Fire Man (EX) : Recolor him blue. He can use Fire Shield to defend himself and his Fire Storm goes zip-zag.

Elec Man (EX) : Recolor him red. He can call out thunder storms and his Thunder Beam now creates shockwaves.
