Use this thread for any and all questions that are easily answers in one post.

Things like "where is X?" or "how do I unlock Y?" are appropriate for this thread, as are questions like "how does Z work?" and the like.

What is not appropriate for this thread are questions like "what is your favourite X?", "why do you suck?", and opinions or suggestions. That type of feedback has it's own thread.

So, let's start. I would like this to be a communal Q&A and everyone can help out the new members. If this thread gets long enough I'll have to add some kind of page-system, but for now it should be fine. Thanks for playing!

So, If I were to suggest the effects of crystal eye, I would suggest that it splash to the bench.

This is a question that I SHOULD'VE asked here but I made a thread for it instead: Will the Support Bots (Roll, Rhythm, and Disco) get more firepower in the next update?

Yes and No, as far as I know:

NO: The Support bots do not seem to gain any new abilities in the next update, but...

YES: You could make the support bots hold an elemental core, granting them access to any elemental attack(s).

Oh that's good, I always wondered why they never learned any moves outside of neutral core moves.

Adrian Marceau have you considered Mr. X as a playable character for Mega Man 6 robot masters and Duo?

@OddNiteAmericaPlay:

1. I think this would go into this thread instead. This thread is more for Q&A about things already in the game.

2. Mr. X is Dr. Wily. So... I don't think that'll work.

@Independence Pika : I dunno, if we go the MM8BDM route and say Mr. X is a real doc, it might work...

@OddNiteAmericaPlay : Hello OddNiteAmericaPlay, welcome to the Community!

First thing to address, Retro Pikachu is correct in identifying this thread as the suggestion thread. However, since you've already asked here, I'll answer your question.

See, we don't necessarily want to stray away from the three common doctors. While Doctor Lalinde from the Archie Comics or the mysterious Mr. X would make adequate player characters in a hypothetical fourth campaign, we really want to stick with the main three. This game generally likes to work in threes, much like in other video games. Plus, it would require some restructuring in how the Prototype works, including a smaller mission setup.. Sorry if you were really looking forward to Mr. X as a character. As for the MM6 robots, they would be shared between the doctors much like how the MM3 robots currently work. And for Duo, it's something that will require further thought. Thank you for the suggestions, though! :D

Sorry if this question sounds dumb or if it has already been answered somewhere, but what exactly are the PCR series of robot masters?

@bruno : What the PCR fan Robot Masters are is Prototype's own line of fan Robot Masters, although what exactly that acronym stands for is grounds for speculation. That's my way of saying "ooooOOOOOooooo it's a secret!" Currently they have entries in the database, as well as a thread slightly detailing them.

Time to necro-post on this thread...somewhat. I just came back, so pls redirect me on info for this.

Question: What on earth are these attacks with the triangle on them? (Let's call them "Delta Attacks" for now due to the fact that it has a delta sign on it.) How to attain them? It does not seem to be on the database, and it seems like a special upgrade to an attack once certain conditions are met. I had it on Roll's Light Buster, yet I don't have it on the others. Then I'm constantly seeing the opponent's Fire Man perform Fire Chaser Delta.

Whatever this is, please enlighten me. look at this pic for reference.

EDIT: Found out what the delta sign is. It denotes an attack boost. The sign only appears on the doctor busters (when the correct RM equips them), and Fire Chaser (if the target has more speed than the user).

Follow up on SpoopiBoi's answer: it also seems that selling him cores of a certain type will unlock abilities of that type. Want that Flame Overdrive? Sell him Flame Cores.

Question. I don't know if this is been answered or not. But, will it be possible to unlock certain fortress bosses like for example, The Mega Man Killers and the Stardroids. To due, Realistcally Wily owns the Megaman Killers and The Stardroids. Wouldn't it make sense if Wily and the other doctors would be able to get some of the Fortress Bosses as playables except for the extra ones. By extras i mean the Dark Clones and the two Mysterious space robots who's names i forget right now.

EDIT: Nevermind. Someone answered my question.

After playing this a bit, I've grown fond of the game's music remixes. Where can I download them for my library?

You can find all the music at LegendofRengade's channel. He's a content creator who specializes in Genesis and SNES arrangements, but I will say finding his Mega Man content is rather difficult as they're pretty old by now.
