So, I had this idea in mind for quite some time now, and I figured now would be a fun time to start it. There's no story since it's just kicking the of an overpowered monstrosity while simultaneously getting your own kicked by said overpowered monstrosity, so I'll just get straight to the rules:

1. Everyone must create their own base character. Each character has 30 stat points to give to each of the stats below:
Energy - The amount of damage your character can take. Every point towards this stat is multiplied by 20.
Weapons - The amount of weapon energy you have. Every point towards this stat is doubled.
Attack - The strength of your attacks.
Defense - How much is reduced from attacks dealt to you.
Speed - Dictates turn order.

Each player must also give their character the following:

Icon - A mugshot to represent your character. (Optional)
Core Type - The element of which your character is strongest with. Attacks of this element are 50% stronger and cost 2/3 of Weapon Energy.
Sub Type - The element of which your character is second strongest with. Attacks of this element are 25% stronger and cost 3/4 of Weapon Energy. (Optional)
Weakness - The element of which your character is weak against. Attacks of this element are 50% stronger against you. Can have up to 2 and no less than 1.
Resistance - The element of which your character is strong against. Attacks of this element are 50% weaker against you. Can have up to 2 and no less than 1.
3 Abilities - Can be either of your own creation or chosen from the Weapons Library. See Rule #11 for more detail.

These type-based features can be ANY elemental type featured within MMRPG itself. This INCLUDES types such as Empty, Energy, Light, etc.
2. At the start of each month, a new raid boss appears. This raid boss will be the same level as the highest-level player and will have the same stat points available to them, except that the raid boss will have infinite health.
3. The goal of the game is to deal as much damage to the Raid Boss as possible. The person who deals the most damage to the raid boss by the end of the month becomes the next raid boss.
4. After every 1,000 damage, the multiplier of the raid boss' stats increase, making them stronger.
5. If a player loses all their health, they will be unable to act for one turn; Afterwards, they will return to battle with all health and weapon energy, but they will also drop all stat buffs/debuffs that were placed on them.
6. Players will recover 1 Weapon Energy on each turn; All players will also have a 0-WE Buster Shot weapon that they can use to conserve WE, or for if they are out of Weapon Energy.
7. If a player does not post an action after ~24 hours since their last post, their turn will be automated.
8. After a raid boss leaves, the player with the most cumulative damage will become the next raid boss. Raid Bosses are created via private messages to me either through the site or through Discord so that their elemental weaknesses and resistances can remain hidden.
8.5. You can choose to either create a new raid boss or reuse/add features to an old one.
9. While participating as the raid boss, the user will be unable to participate in the raid as their none-raid character.
10. Additionally, cumulative damage for each player is converted into experience points. Players with enough experience will level up upon being disabled or reaching the end of the raid, receiving:
-10 more stat points that they can give to any stat they desire
-Another new weapon every even-numbered level (created or library)
-And that's it lol
11. Weapons have five aspects:
Core Type - 1-2 elements that control what Weaknesses or Resistances are triggered.
Cost - How much Weapon Energy is required to use the move.
Accuracy - The chance a move has of succeeding.
Power - The strength of a move. Limit of 15 Damage, +15 more per 2 WE cost
Effect - Any additional effects the move can have (multiple hits, stat changes, etc.) Limit 1, +1 per 4 WE cost. See Page 1, Post #4 for additional detail.
12. These events are typically made with no story to them; However, if you wish to provide story and/or dialogue to make things more interesting, feel free.
13. Keep in mind that everything here is mostly experimental at the moment; If there is ANYTHING that you feel that needs rebalancing, do NOT be afraid to tell me so.

If the shop is still open, Eidolon buys an Upgrade Ability and applies it to Bubble Spray.

Foam Machinegun: Fires up to 5 more times, but costs the same amount of WE for each extra shot.  The user can choose to target different enemies as well, provided they're next to the initial target in the turn order.

Then, Eidolon buys a Speed Capsule and an Energy Upgrade.
Then, if allowed, Eidolon unequips the Growth Module and equips the Energy Upgrade!

If Eidolon can still act this turn, he uses the Speed Capsule.

If none of that can be done however, Eidolon uses Parasitic Shock on Raid Boss Fan.

Dord assesses every way in which this could possibly go wrong. There are many of them.
Hell yeah! Get over h-
The fusion (probably) happens almost instantly, and as the dust clears Dord can be seen sporting a set of ash-grey armor with glowing green elements everywhere. Between the surprisingly stylish curled feather on the helmet, the huge black wings that simultaneously look like they belong on a duck and a mechanical angel, concerning amount of boosters along his legs and back and the overall "this pic goes hard" energy, the only kind of questionable part of the new look is the obligatory beak.
...oh, yes.
Under the mask, Dord cracks an unhinged smile before summoning another Hadal Smoker, jetting straight for the Forever Flame with Roadkiller, and then striking it with an Abyssal Claw! Or at least as much of that as the game mechanics allow. There's a lot happening at the moment.

At lightning fast speeds, Slepnir strikes the flames for 540 Damage, the smoke getting in the way of the strikes! The flames grow even more after he loops around, dealing 480 Damage!

Perhaps in retaliation, a wall of flame crashes down on Eidolon, dealing 200 Damage and KOing him! The wall grows twice as big and slams into Synth dealing 240 Damage, KOing him! Once more it tries to fall onto Magnet but it loses its steam.

Reggae combines with Dord, finding a Water Core in the process, and combined with an Jolt, become an absolute nightmare to behold! To start the chaos, a Hadal Smoker strikes the flame for 87 Damage, KOing TRBF twice, and finishes off to deal a total of 1554 Damage to both units!
TRBF takes a knee as Roadkiller speeds by, dealing 75 Damage. FRENZIED causes another Roadkiller to occur.
To finish off this onslaught, an Absmyal Claw is used. (I’m gonna cry). Due to Clashing Thunder, STAB, and the Water Resistance, it only does over 9000 Damage, equating to 9900 Damage!.

The multiplier, in combination with 900, has raised the multiplier by 10.

By this point the flames hastily retreat back although substantially stronger. Despite the raw damage everyone has done, the flames seem to only endure more and more. But perhaps even more alarming than this is the fact that a dark figure slowly appears in the middle.

Deja Vu strikes the battlefield as suddenly 3376 Damage occurs.

A Spectrum Beam fires, dealing 2 Damage.

Magnet and Eidolon take a turn to arise from the tidal wave of flame. The Speed Capsule was not used as such.

As TRBF changes his optic sensors, he’s horrified at the Doreggae hybrid. Thinking to himself, he decides to read the TTC wiki to learn more. Shocked that he can’t find anything, he looks back up.Read the Wiki

Gun N Run is used, dealing 2 Damage and gaining 55200 Z from a necklace of pearls found untouched!

TRBF pulls out another item as Topaz punches him for 38 Damage but turns around upon feeling a tap on his shoulder. The last thing he sees is Stache before they both disappear in a red and purple light.

Clashing Thunders ends yet a storm is brewing.

...Hopefully, it's nothing... god, I hope it's nothing... But I have a very bad feeling about this flame.



...The problem isn't if the flame will go out or not. The problem is if this flame is an omen to something... and if so, to what?

Sacred Revival blesses Redord and …I guess Guard since no one else went before him to the max! Valk holds on as Sacred Star strikes once more for 600 Damage!
Feeling an strange boost in courage, you go once more, dealing damage that defies logic. 180 Damage was dealt.

The flames lose its volatility and lack of durability as Re-Dord takes on its curse. A powerful Abysmal Claw ruptures the heart of the flames for 10407 Damage!.
Another +11 to the multiplier.

The flames make a full retreat around the dark figure…no, into the dark figure.

Warp [Disables] Domino Flare.

Spectrum charges his weapons.

Synth dashes into some stray flames, dealing 1 Damage

Magnet Bomber uppercuts the flames…but due to the smoke slams Slepnir. One dodge removed.

Eidlon activates the speed capsule. You feel your steps carry more significance.

Gun N Run does 1 Damage and you find a NFT. It’s worthless now but the computer you find it on is round the same price as the items from before.

The Raid Boss Fan is not on the field as he was taken by Stache. ~~(I swear does anyone read my posts other than for damage?)~~ The punch is redirected to the flames, dealing 1 Damage.

The crackling of flames have died out, replaced with an ominous silence. As the smoke stagnates in the air, slowly the fires gravitate towards the lone figure. Spiraling up like a rose bud, the air around you grows cold. Just when it seems you can’t get any colder, a thunderclap causes the flame to disappear into the shadows.


Slowly walking from the darkness come two vibrant orange eyes belonging to a body of soot. And then you see it; an uneven smirk that seems to glow like lava. It opens as a soul-shattering screech erupts alongside two beams of fire.

BURN!

Burning Desire has arrived!
Moveset, stats, weakness/resistances changed!


One ally can help support you in your endeavors. Note I will not get XP for this and certain moves may change from their regular counterparts. They will also not show up at first. Here are your options.

Glass: Though not the best when it comes to supporting allies, his attacks can help to cause debuffs and also has access to a powerful Taunt, taking hits for the team. His stubbornness and poor luck renders him immune to some abilities.
Stache: With his vast array of mind-connecting moves, he can help with WE regen, stat boosts, and can make attacks that target more than one unit more effective. However, he will only be on the field every other turn due to dealing with a certain troublemaker.
Artifenix: Though not as strong and thus will likely go down far more easily without assistance, his constructions can help to lower the Temperature Gauge and can be directed to help with some situations (such as healing, status effects, etc).


Note if you don’t want to choose one, feel indifferent feel free to let me know. The highest vote wins. Choose carefully.
