WHAT IS A NUZLOCKE?
a nuzlocke, according to bulbapedia, is a set of rules intended to make pokemon games harder. the default two rules are as follows:
RULE 1: (this does not matter)
only one encounter is allowed per pokemon route, per example, if you were to find a pidgey on kanto's route 1, then that is your encounter for that route, and you are no longer able to catch anything else in said route.
RULE 2: (this is the most important)
if a pokemon faints, then it must be released or put in a box, unable to be used.
EXTRA RULES:
NO RESETS: we are unable to leave or restart a battle to cheese the game into not losing a robot master.
WIPE RULE: if we were to fully lose our team in a battle, we can continue if we still have spare robot masters.
CHAPTER CLAUSE: you are unable to use robot masters from different chapters until all three chapters are finished.
LEVEL CAP: no levelling up past the reccomended level seen in the mission select menu.
SLOW START: run start when obtaining another robot master, wether it be roll or a robot master
ITEMS CLAUSE: no use of items in battle, held items are allowed (eg. the weapon capsule, extra life or the yashichi)
REVIVAL CLAUSE: use of the extra life to revive robot masters isnt allowed.
